La pandemia acelera los tiempos, impone urgencia a las decisiones y a las acciones, potencia la creatividad y el ingenio de los responsables, pone en tensión las capacidades decisorias y operativas estatales. Los ritmos, secuencias y procesos con los que se maneja la administración del estado fueron diseñados para épocas normales -normas rígidas, controles cruzados, calendarios de pagos, y los de ahora son tiempos extraordinarios. Este artículo revisa las medidas adoptadas por el gobierno Argentino frente a la Pandemia y observa sus derivaciones en el la disputa de poder que supone esta situación excepcional. SUMMARYThe pandemic that accelerates the times, imposes urgency on decisions and actions, enhances the creativity and ingenuity of those in charge, and puts a strain on the decision-making and operational capacities of the State. The rhythms, sequences and processes of State administration were designed for normal times -rigid rules, cross-checks, payment schedules- and those of now are extraordinary times. This article reviews the measures adopted by the argentine government in response to the pandemic and notes derivations in it, the dispute for power that this exceptional situation entails.

Established in 1970, the International Association of Labour History Institutions (IALHI) is an international network of libraries, archives, museums, and research centres from five continents. The aim of this paper is to characterise the IALHI and its activities against the background of the history of institutions, archives and libraries dedicated to the history of the labour and its international relations.

In the field of the academic and political debates that have taken place in the last years, this article proposes to work in an issue that has been present in the field of discussions, from different approaches and perspectives: the union militancy of working women. Based on the review of the bibliography produced in Argentina in recent years, we focus on the intersection between militancy, gender and class in order to contribute to mapping some of the main discussions in the field of sociology.

This work investigates the contradictory character assumed by the convergence of the various projects for the reconstruction of society after the Russian Revolution of 1917. It will be argued that the consensus between the Bolshevik Party and the worker’s movement, regarding the strengthening of a centralized state instance capable of developing a global planning, developed in conflictive interaction with their programmatic counterpart of assimilation of the so-called scientific organization of labor.

Review of Nicolás Iñigo Carrera, Estrategias de la clase obrera en los orígenes del peronismo, Buenos Aires, Grupo Editor Universitario-EUDEM, 2019, 138 pp.

This article studies the “big strike” that took place in the city of Rosario, Argentina, in August 1896. Declared in solidarity with the railway workers of Tolosa, it was transformed in general by the adhesion of all the union societies of the city. It reconstructs the episode, analyzes the performance of the protagonists and the action of the state, proposing an interpretation focused on the peculiarities of the social and political context in which it occurred.
