Resumen
The current circumstances further merit investment in scientific research, to contribute to the homogeneous sustainability of the world population. The economic resources destined to the research field must be prioritized in order to rediscover what nature holds for the future man. Practical sumptuousness has plunged humanity into a minimalist idea of ??its social condition. The world phenomena of diverse nature are sneaked by a small group of research philanthropists without state economic funds, absolutely relegated by private companies that profit from raw materials.

Developing and maintaining a responsible attitude towards the care and protection of the environment and natural resources by virtue of managing sustainable development is, in Cuba, a demonstrated priority not only from the conception, organization and projection of the policies and projects that address these thematic; but also from the concrete results they exhibit. Responding to this task, this paper aims to socialize the experience in community training for the management of Urban Solid Waste and the protection of water resources from prevention in a Cuban locality. Theoretical methods were used: historical-logical, induction-deduction and analysis-synthesis; as empirical methods: observation, interview, survey, document review; integrated in Research-Action-Participation and supported by the materialistic dialectical method. Through these, a diagnosis of the regularities that characterize both problems was obtained and a group of actions were planned and executed within which the project execution stands out: For health and environmental culture in communities of Cabaiguán. The teachers involved in them, through the substantive university processes, addressed the topics with an educational and educational character, achieving satisfaction in the beneficiaries.

Resumen
Ecological tourism is a promising activity for indigenous and rural populations. This activity, in the coastal region, has been experiencing accelerated growth that will be greater in the future according to the different tourist typologies that it frames. However, currently environmental work from the territories lacks adequate tourism management that, in the long term, can generate considerable negative impacts on the territory and on the image of space as a tourist destination. The approaches on this tourist modality can incorporate different considerations depending on the population that promotes it and the different natural attractions of the region. For this reason, the objective of this research was to analyze ecological tourism as a factor that can strengthen tourism in this territory, through a survey that allowed knowing the profile, motivations and valuations of tourists and businessmen about this modality. Among the results, it should be noted that the visitors who arrive in the area are young people with a high level of education. The main motivation is marked by rest, although others also standout such as leisure, fun and knowledge of the culture, as well as the satisfaction for its scenic beauty that is high. It was possible to identify the main strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats of the different ecological tourist attractions. The behavior of the ecological tourism market within ecotourism activities was analyzed. Management strategies were designed that involve the commitment to continuous improvement and the implementation of different initiatives in the tourism sector.

Resumen
The purpose of this work was to evaluate the yield and quality of carrots (Daucus carota L.) In two organic and conventional production systems. The experiment was carried out at the San Gabriel farm in the province of Cotopaxi. A randomized complete block design was used; the following treatments were evaluated: T1 = 25 t / ha organic fertilizer (Organic system); T2 = 92 kg / ha of N - 21 kg / ha of P2O5 – 79.5 kg / ha of Ca (Conventional system); control (T3). These were replicated four times, obtaining 12 experimental units. The results obtained were statistically examined by means of the Analysis of Variance, and to compare means of the treatments, the Tukey test was used at 5% and the minimum significant difference at 5%. Agronomic and financial variables were evaluated during the crop cycle: plant height, incidence of pests, root length, quality, yield and the Benefit-Cost (B/C) ratio. When measuring productivity, the system that presented the highest yield It was the organic system with 17.81 t/ha. In relation to the measured quality parameter, highly significant differences were found: the organic system showed a characteristic color and brightness of the carrot compared to the conventional system. The financial analysis shows that the best B/C rate corresponded to the organic system with 4.30.

Resumen
Sustainable development is a strategic objective for Nicaragua, who has proposed as a goal for 2027 the use of renewable sources in 90% of the energy generation that occurs in the country, exploiting the potential of water to achieve the above. In keeping with these projections, La Salle Technological University, since its founding in 2009, has contributed to this purpose not only since the promotion of sustainable development and the training of professionals who lead change through careers such as Mechanics; Renewable energy; Electrical and Energy Efficiency, the latter still in the design phase; but also from research and technological innovations through a center of studies on Biogas and Biodiesel, its productive applications and technological adaptations, which have been implemented mainly in rural areas with a high social impact. Likewise, outside the academic field, the university is part of national and international networks that focus on the promotion and execution of projects in sustainable energy fields. The present work exposes these experiences through the documentary analysis of the data collected in official sources of national and international institutions and organizations in this area, as well as reports of results, regulations, regulations and documents of La Salle University of Technology.

The Civil Defense System in Cuba, as a result of the political will of the Government and the Party, has developed since the triumph of the Revolution and by virtue of the security of the Cuban people and the resources of the country, a series of programs, strategies, and action plans to prevent, mitigate, prepare, alert, give a quick response, rehabilitate and rebuild immediately in disaster situations; which have contributed significantly to reducing this vulnerability. The Ministry of Education constitutes one of the Organizations of the Central State Administration with the greatest impact within said system, among other reasons, for its direct contribution to the preparation of teachers and students with comprehensive training, which combines theory with practice. From the above, it is considered necessary in this research to design a system of indicators for evaluating the quality of disaster risk reduction in Safe Schools in the province of Camagüey.
