Resumen
Environmental pollution is a concern and occupation of multiple organizations, with the release of heavy metals being one of the latent problems that are being investigated due to its persistence and bioaccumulation capacity. The Pasco region is an area with multiple rivers and mining industries, which leads to monitoring by the competent authorities to determine the quality of the water. For this reason, the objective of this research was to evaluate the presence of heavy metals in the San Juan, Huallaga, Tingo Palca and Punrún lagoon rivers and so in Oncorhynchus mykiss trout. The research was descriptive cross-sectional. The results showed concentrations above the maximum permissible limits of some metals in the Tingo, San Juan and Huallaga rivers, mainly due to the presence of mining companies along the rivers, the San Juan river being the most polluted. The Punrún lagoon does not show contamination by heavy metals and the trout evaluated from the fish farms have values below the established limits, so they can be consumed by the population. The proactive determination of heavy metals will make it possible to make decisions that impact the reality of the population.

Resumen
Knowledge of scientific production patterns in every field of knowledge is part of the dynamics of science itself. A bibliometric study on the Colombian scientific production in Mathematics Education and its indexation within the Emerging Source Citation Index database is presented. A high degree of collaboration was found in the authorship and the establishment of inter-institutional collaboration networks of national and international nature. Production has increased in recent years, but it remains low and its dissemination is markedly local.

Resumen
There are many stereotypes that define the Mathematics discipline as an area of multiple problems for the teaching and learning process. For this reason, this research is presented to provide evidence of the need for a methodological change in the teaching-learning process of statistical content: mean, trend, median and range. To this end, play-based learning is used and the students' knowledge is analyzed, before and after an intervention. The results show significant evidence about the effectiveness of mentioned methodology compared with the formal teaching system.

Resumen
The development of the sense of agency was studied in prospective statistics teachers when participating in a course designed from a socio-critical perspective. The participants were ten prospective teachers enrolled in a seminar on Methods for Teaching Statistics within a Mathematical Education professional program at a public university located in the north western of Colombia. The sources of information were the discussions of the seminar participants while working on the statistical investigations and narrative writings of the prospective teachers. The results reveal that the sense of agency was evident in the participants by assuming statistics as a non-neutral science, by recognizing themselves as protagonists of history, and by undertaking transformative actions.

Resumen
This article presents a proposal to rethink the teaching of statistics and probability in the classroom in order to promote sustainability skills. This will allow, on the one hand, students to know and become aware of education for sustainable development and sustainable development objectives and to reflect on what they can do to contribute to achieving them from their own actions (decision-making) and, on the other hand, to give meaning to the learning of probability and statistics, thus allowing a greater internalization of what has been learned. The conclusion is that teachers need to be made literate in these matters so that they value and pay attention to their incorporation into the school context.

Resumen
The purpose of this research is to promote the development of Geometric thinking related to the concepts of congruence and similarity, using the kirigami as a didactic tool. The activities are supported through the kirigami technique, visualization processes with emphasis on Bishop's visualization skills (1989) and problem solving, using graphic organizers and teamwork. The sequence didactic is designed for three sessions, each with a specific objective that guides the student to autonomous learning. The results show significant evidence about the effectiveness of this methodology.

Resumen
The objective of this study was, to analyze the curricular elements involved, to achieve a paradigm change and in the statistical education training at the university environment. Employing the curricular theory, the emanating recommendations from researches suggesting specific changes in plans, programs and textbooks. Among the main findings, are the distance between the pertinent and what is possible, as well as the prevalence of the curricular approach from the discipline, closed, linear and an almost non society problems related, under a technical perspective. It is justified the need to count for a common curricular theorical framework

Resumen
As a result of a research project, an impact action was taken in the statistical classroom, which is presented through the implementation and analysis of a sequence of activities that aims to contribute to the citizenship training of students in an education classroom accelerated, from the dimension of coexistence and peace from the teaching of statistics. It addresses the problem that the development of student citizenship competencies does not allow constructive contributions to coexistence in their school environment and in the community in which they are located. An own methodology is designed, taking into account the characteristics of the Teaching Experiment and Action Research to attend to the evidenced problems and show how elements of citizen training are promoted through statistical notions.

Resumen
With the aim to procure in university Statistics classes, the conditions to embed statistical thinking in critical thinking, a didactic choreography was put on the educational scene whose topics or generative themes are data, randomness and models. Thus, we integrate, by way of innovation, a didactic sequence focused on critical reading of journalistic stories and political references so that our students become aware of the relevance of the understanding of Fundamental Stochastic Ideas when discerning between reliable information and trustworthy of which it is not; in a world overloaded with information where the well-being of citizens is discussed in figures and graphs.
