En el contexto crítico actual de la pandemia de COVID-19 es esencial reforzar los principios básicos de Bioseguridad. Con el objetivo de actualizar aspectos de la bioseguridad a tener en cuenta durante la práctica estomatología frente a la COVID-19; se realizó una búsqueda en fuentes de información digital e impresa, base de datos en BVS de Infomed, Scielo, Pubmed, Google, Lilacs, Medline. Para la selección de artículos se tuvieron en cuenta criterios de actualidad y validez de los estudios. Es necesario implementar estrategias de prevención enfocadas en la desinfección del lugar de trabajo, consultorio y salas de espera; la adecuada esterilización del instrumental y material de trabajo; así como el adecuado manejo del material contaminado y desechos biológicos. Estas medidas disminuyen la carga viral, evitan la diseminación y garantizan la protección de los profesionales de la salud y la atención segura de la población.

Introducción:El traumatismo dentoalveolar es una lesión frecuente en la infancia y un problema de salud pública. Un resultado favorable dependerá del conocimiento previo sobre su manejo.Objetivo: Describir el nivel de conocimientos sobre traumatismos dentoalveolar en docentes de establecimientos educacionales de la Región Metropolitana, durante el año 2020.Métodos:Estudio transversal en una muestra de 384 docentes de establecimientos educacionales en la Región Metropolitana, elegidos de forma aleatoria. Se midió el conocimiento sobre manejo de traumatismo dentoalveolar mediante cuestionario de tres dimensiones. La primera registra datos personales y experiencias previas en traumatismo dentoalveolar; la segunda mide conocimiento general, lugar de atención, manejo del tiempo, acondicionamiento, transporte y tipos de dentición. El puntaje clasifica en buen nivel (16 – 20), regular (8 a15.9), deficiente (0 – 7.9). La tercera dimensión valora la actitud frente al trauma de avulsión y fractura dentaria mediante dos casos hipotéticos y cuatro enunciados. Se describió nivel de conocimientos en tablas y gráficos. Estudio aprobado por Comité de Ética Científico.Resultados:La muestra estudiada fue mayoritariamente de mujeres (89,3%), edad media 37.1± 9.8 años, principalmente de educación preescolar, 11.6 ± 8.8 años experiencia laboral. El nivel de conocimiento fue deficiente en 56.8 %, sin diferencias por sexo, edad, experiencia laboral y lugar de trabajo. Un tercio califica con actitud adecuada frente al trauma de avulsión dentaria, valor que aumenta al enfrentar una fractura dentaria, 67.7 %.Conclusión:Este estudio muestra un conocimiento deficiente sobre traumatismo dentoalveolar en docentes, lo que puede condicionar un mal pronóstico del diente. 

Introducción: La infertilidad es un problema que cada vez alcanza mayor dimensiónen las sociedades,siendo fundamental el estudio de los procesos psicológicos que se dan en la pareja durante todo el proceso.Objetivos: Caracterizar los modos de afrontamientos y el nivel de autoestima en parejas infértiles del Centro de Reproducción Asistida de Baja Tecnología de Mayabeque.Métodos: Estudio descriptivo, cuanti-cualitativo, transversal y correlacional;muestreo no probabilísticointencional, de enero amarzo del 2020. Universo: 50 parejas; muestra: 25. Análisis estadístico: dócima X2ydócima de Duncan. Técnicas: entrevista,observación, Escala Modos de Afrontamiento de Lazarus y el Inventario de Autoestimade Coopersmith.Resultados: Modos de Afrontamientos enféminas: Reevaluación positiva:mediana de 10 puntos, Confrontación y Planificación: 8 puntos. Masculino: Reevaluación positiva: mediana de 12 puntos y Planificación:9 puntos. Nivel medio de autoestima: masculino (80%);femenino(68%). Predominó el modo de afrontamiento centrado en la emoción (54%). Los sujetos conautoestima media tendieron a utilizar afrontamientos centrados en la emoción.El (32%)conModo de afrontamiento Reevaluación positiva, tenían un nivel medio de autoestima. Los sujetos con autoestima altautilizaronla Reevaluación positiva, mientrasque los sujetos conautoestima baja el Distanciamiento.Conclusiones: Predominó la estrategiade afrontamiento centrada en la emoción y el nivel medio de autoestimaen las parejas infértiles.Las estrategias de afrontamiento más utilizadas fueron la reevaluación positiva, la confrontación y la planificación;en menor medida la aceptación de la responsabilidad y la huida-evitación.

El comportamiento reproductivo moderno en Cuba y otros países del mundo, se caracteriza por un retraso en la paternidad, debido al aumento de la esperanza de vida, a situaciones socioeconómicas, un mayor acceso a técnicas de reproducción asistida; entre otras. Los cambios fisiológicos relacionados con la edad, afectan el sistema reproductivo masculino. Se ha demostrado que la avanzada edad paterna, está asociada con alteraciones en los niveles de hormonas reproductivas, disminución de la función testicular, sexual y la producción de esperma. Estudios epidemiológicos evidencian que la avanzada edad paterna, en el momento de la concepción, está asociada con mayor riesgo de mutaciones de novo, las cuales tienen efectos significativos en el embarazo y la salud de la descendencia. Estimular un adecuado control del riesgo preconcepcional, incluido la estimulación de la concepción del embarazo en edades óptimas, constituye un reto para la sociedad moderna y una necesidad para los hijos del futuro.

This research aims to analyze electronic word of mouth (ewom) and the activity of influencers in generating brand recognition in the sportswear sector. To carry out the research, a convenience survey of 99 consumers was used and the results were analyzed with the SEM-PLS technique. It has been shown that influencers have a direct and significant relationship with brand recognition, while the ewom does not manage to have a direct effect on the endogenous variable, however, the ewom develops an indirect and significant relationship mediated by the activity of the influencers. influencers with brand recognition. In addition, it is concluded that consumers of sports brand clothing seek to approve their opinions through the support of influencers.

More than ten years have passed since companies had to implement the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the preparation of financial statements, in order to make their content transparent. In this sense, IFRS 15 has been one of those regulations that should have been incorporated in said implementation, however, it is still not possible to measure the results obtained in the different companies that make up the business fabric of Ecuador; That is why this article is framed in diagnosing the level of application of IFRS 15 in companies whose economic activity is related to construction. The predominant methodological design was qualitative, with a documentary modality and a descriptive level. The investigation was carried out based on the notes to the financial statements of seventy large companies that make up the construction sector. To obtain the notes to the financial statements, it was essential to go to the control entity. The collection of information was obtained using a data matrix, which was validated by experts in the accounting area. It was concluded that the implementation of IFRS 15 is not yet applied correctly.

Customer value is a strategic weapon to attract and retain customers, since it has become one of the most significant factors for business success. The objective of the research is to evaluate the performance of the CRM through the client's behavior model for the definition of its relationship quality in the textile industry of Tungurahua. The quantitative method allowed to evaluate the perception of the clients of the 2 textile fashion companies. A stratified sample was used in 320 clients and the edges evaluated were value for the client and CRM performance based on their behavior. The results revealed that all dimensions of customer value have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. However, he highlighted the emotional value by establishing a turnover coefficient of 95%. It was concluded that managers must strike a balance between different measures of customer relationship performance if they hope to improve behavior-based CRM performance.

Organizational culture and business performance have factors that condition and determinate the result of their interaction, which makes it important to know and understand how implementing a culture in an organization is to encourage its best performance, since it promotes communication and improves labor relations, having repercussions on the performance of the company, therefore, it is sought to establish from a literary review methodology, the incidence of organizational culture in business performance, defining its determining factors based on the analysis of different studies. As a result, it was established that the organizational culture is in constant change and evolutions, coupling the environments and external factors of the markets and society, defining it as the set of ways of acting, feeling, and thinking in a share way at all levels of the organization, because of job satisfaction and an environment and senior management that promote it. Concluding that the creation of an organizational culture based on specific and determined factors allows improving the competitiveness of human talent through job satisfaction and an appropriate environment, resulting in optimal and efficient performance of the organization.

This research is aimed at reviewing the development of so-called social enterprises, examining how this type of enterprise can contribute to the redistribution of income and in turn generate economic benefits in vulnerable sectors, helping to improve the standard of living of the Ecuadorian population. , which in post-pandemic circumstances shows an open unemployment rate of over 5%, in the same sense multidimensional poverty is over 40%; With this background, and based on the popular and solidarity economy, generate social enterprises that allow overcoming these difficult conditions, in this sense, the characteristics of social enterprises, their legal framework and their growth potential at the country level are examined.

Currently, the various changes in student behaviors and preferences have generated a wide variety of options when selecting a fourth level program, forcing universities, study centers, professional schools and other national and international organizations to seek alternatives for attracting potential applicants, adding to this the technological development, professional challenges and wide educational offer is essential to determine the main variables involved when accessing a fourth level program. It is of great relevance to understand the role of master's degree students and the tools that will help them acquire new competencies, skills and experiences through technological resources in virtual support scenarios and educational follow-up. Through a mixed study, a quantitative analysis was carried out by implementing a survey to graduate students of Ecuadorian universities, complementing the research with a descriptive study that allowed determining the variables that influence the selection of a master's degree program or fourth level specialization. This will provide a development axis for the institutions offering fourth level programs, optimizing their academic offer in relation to institutional prestige, desired professional profile, innovative curricula, study modality and English level. For a successful validation of the chosen program, it is advisable to consider the advantages and disadvantages of the same, times and facilities offered by the institutions of higher education being advised at all times with transparency and ethics to make a more beneficial decision.
