The recent coronavirus outbreak transformed learning processes, bringing them emergingly into virtuality and forcing educational institutions to develop strategies for moving towards remote education. The Social Web facilitated the technological transition and with the support of virtual learning communities made more flexible teaching environments and create different ways of interaction to reach academic goals. This essay, through document review, introduces guidelines for turning Social Networks into learning communities. Also propose the main benefits and disadvantages of Social Networks use in learning processes.

The pandemic has forced substantial and vertiginous changes that have affected the lives of communities in all contexts. In the beginning, when the confinement was decreed successively in the different countries that were affected, Han commented that the coronavirus was "putting our system to the test" (2020). We want to tell you how the Higher Education System has been put to the test, from our perspective, and based on an ethnographic investigation carried out in 10 universities in Latin America and Europe, the results of which we will publish soon.

La revista Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos surge con el objetivo de fortalecer las líneas de investigación sobre la Cultura y Educación para la Paz, a través de la producción y divulgación científica de trabajos relacionados con los temas de Cultura de Paz, Educación para la Paz, Irenología, Polemología, Derechos Humanos, Métodos para la Transformación Pacífica de Conflictos, y otras áreas disciplinares que enriquecen la comprensión y la generación de ciencia enfocada a la paz y los conflictos; así como contribuir a la difusión de conocimiento que contribuya a una transformación social más equitativa y que incentive la participación ciudadana en la generación y aplicación de estrategias eficaces en esos procesos de transformación. La investigación para la paz se convierte en el camino idóneo para encontrar las estrategias, políticas sociales, modelos educativos y herramientas para la pacificación de las sociedades donde persisten actos de violencia directa, estructural y cultural. Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos está dirigida a investigadores, docentes y miembros de la comunidad académico-científica interesados en el abordaje epistemológico, antropológico y ontológico que convergen el estudio de las relaciones humanas en función de la paz y la naturaleza del conflicto como elemento inherente al ser humano, con las ventajas que otorga la multidisciplinariedad y la interdiscipinariedad de estas multidimensiones y con la misión principal de contribuir a la transdisciplinariedad de los trabajos que en ella se publican. Comprometidos con el impulso y difusión del conocimiento con acceso abierto, se ha tomado la decisión de firmar la Declaración de San Francisco sobre la Evaluación de la Investigación (DORA); Eirene se encuentra incluida en bases de datos y divulgación científica como AmeliCA y LatinREV. Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos enfoca sus trabajos hacia la edificación de estructuras sociales que contribuyan a consolidar los objetivos para el desarrollo sostenible, utilizando la perspectiva de la transversalidad práctica de la Paz como herramienta principal. Por tanto, impulsa y difunde investigaciones que permitan la interiorización de valores como el respeto, la tolerancia, la justicia, la equidad, la paz, el diálogo, la solidaridad, entre otros, para lograr una revalorización social, un proceso donde la paz se encuentre inmersa en las estructuras tanto políticas como sociales y conlleven a crear una mayor capacidad de transformación social positiva, es decir un empoderamiento pacifista.  Dr. Paris A. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of the number of violent acts within the armedconflict on the levels of electoral abstention, taking as a case study the departmental elections togovernor and House of Representatives of the southwestern region of Colombia between 2002 and2015. The article is framed by the need to examine the characteristics and contextual implicationsof the armed conflict in the electoral dynamics of the country. For this, a correlational / longitudinalquantitative analysis is carried out, with electoral abstention data obtained from 24 popular electionprocesses and the acts of violence from the last two decades registered by the National Center forHistorical Memory in this region. The results indicate a tendency to decrease, both in violence derivedfrom the armed conflict and in electoral abstention. Additionally, the existence of a global correlationbetween levels of violence and abstention is ruled out, but the correlation of abstention with selectiveassassinations and terrorist attacks is confirmed. Finally, the possible causes of these phenomena andthe repercussions they have on the democratic quality of Colombia are discussed.

It reflects on the importance of promoting Emotional Intelligence in the classrooms and its impacton promoting peace building. It is part of some results of the doctoral thesis, referred to Educationfor Peace and its influence on the deficit of socio-emotional skills of preadolescents, which arises inresponse to the phenomenon of school violence, a situation that is experienced worldwide. In this sense,it was intended to train a group of pre-adolescents, demonstrating their contribution to pacification inthree schools in Monterrey from the strengthening of emotional competence.The purpose was to demonstrate that, through the intervention with activities focused on the developmentof Emotional Intelligence in preadolescents, it was possible to strengthen school coexistence within theclassrooms, favoring the construction of a culture of peace.The design used in the research is of a mixed type, it combines the qualitative technique of nonparticipantobservation, through the use of the field diary instrument and the survey from thequantitative approach, in addition to having a control group, being a A quasi-experimental study,this last instrument is applied in two moments, before and after the development of the activities.Instruments that are systematized through the SPSS Software.The findings showed that students identify, manage and assertively express their emotions, elementsthat lead to the construction of healthier social relationships within the classroom.

This paper addresses the importance of legal psychology within the mediation processes, conflictmanagement and resolution of these in criminal matters, highlighting the need to address emotionsduring the mediation process and the impact they have on the decision making. For this reason, it isessential to contextualize the importance of legal psychology in legal settings, as well as to schematizethe paradigm of emotions and narrative in a differentiated way as part of the mediation processes,since, as Luhmann points out, when something is verbalized becomes communication and, therefore,society. (García, L; 2019, p. 67). It is important to understand Psychology as a parallel discipline tolaw during the development of dispute resolution, starting from the construction of positive dialoguein favor of the culture of peace and social harmony.

El texto Manual De Mediación Penal, Civil, Familiar Y Justicia Restaurativa, da a conocer los aspectos que debe conocer cualquier persona que esté interesado en los mecanismos alternativos de solución de conflictos, el texto esta dividido en 4 partes, la primera hace referencia al marco teórico de la Mediación y los demás métodos de solución de conflictos, en este parte se tocaran temas desde la leyes que regulan los mecanismo alternos de solución de conflictos, negociación, gestión del conflicto, justicia retributiva, alternativa y cotidiana así como la ética del mediador, la segunda parte hace referencia al sustento doctrinal y legal  la importancia de los marcos normativos e históricos de los MASC, la oportunidad de mediar en el proceso judicial, reparación del perdón y el valor de los acuerdos reparatorios, realizando un viaje por la parte teórica el texto se adentra a la parte operativa de la mediación,  tocando temas como las técnicas y habilidades del mediador, el manejo de la ira y control de la crisis, técnicas de comunicación, premediación y conclusión anticipada, técnicas de redacción para los acuerdos de mediación, los catálogos de los conflictos en materia penal, civil y familiar así como estudio de casos  reales en el área civil, familiar y penal por ultimo en la parte 4 de libro versa sobre la justicia restaurativa adentrándonos en el marco conceptual y jurídico, el perdón a la justicia restaurativa, modelos de la justicia restaurativa, juntas restaurativas, también se  presenta caso práctico de la justicia restaurativa y por ultimo el acuerdo reparatorio en los procesos de justicia restaurativa.Los autores en cada capitulo logran sin duda alguna adentrarnos en el fascinante mundo de los métodos alternos de solución de controversia, para que así el lector tenga una mejor perspectiva de cada uno de los factores que intervienen en los procesos y procedimientos que el individuo tiene a su disponibilidad para resolver un conflicto y buscando de esta manera un poco de bienestar individual y colectivo.

The failure of the Mexican and Panamanian correctional systems is due, in part, to the fact that thework methodologies of the social reintegration programs of the places studied do not contemplatethe resilient potential of the families of people deprived of liberty, focusing, even on the final stagesof the process, exclusively in the individual. That is why this study was mainly based on restorativejustice and resilience theories, having as a link to the secondary theories of bond and social support.The objective of this research was to find out what impact the elements of restorative justice have onthe family resilience of people deprived of liberty in both settings. Through a quantitative study ofan explanatory nature, which used the Likert scale survey as a data collection instrument, appliedto persons deprived of liberty in the already closed CEPRERESO Topo Chico in Monterrey, Mexico,and in the Santiago penitentiary center. Veraguas, in Panama, it was possible to specify that repairingthe harm is the main element of restorative justice that favors the process of family resilience in thecorrectional context.

Family mediation is duly regulared as a fundamental right, however within the procedural order in thestate of Nuevo León, there is a procedural problema when regulating the judicial referral to mediationin family trials, it will be analyzed and interpreted the substantive and adjetive tule to understand itslegal procedural application.This hermenéutica research that seeks to analyze and interpret the procedural regulations of family lawin the state of Nuevo León, in order to identify which procedural principles should be applied duringthe preliminary hearing stage in the conciliatory phase when trying to change the legal direction, is toidentify which procedural acts can help the parties such as legal representatives to request a judicialreferral in family trials.It seeks to develop certain procedural acts by the judicial authority in order to comply with the effectiveAccess to justice of the alternative mechanisms for the resolution of disputes base don the applicationof procedural principles by the judicial authority, with the objetive of promoting judicial referrals tofamily mediation in the state of Nuevo León.
