When a person is learning the phoneme-grapheme relationship, s/he is not learning to read or write; s/he is learning the alphabetic code. Learning the alphabetic code is valued by teachers, which is why this proposal is constructed as an alternative to nonsense teaching of the syllabic method. This proposal takes advantage of the characteristic of transparency that the Spanish language has. This proposal guides the students to manipulate the phonemes that make up the words to propose graphing hypotheses through the development of phonological awareness. This device is an alternative for the mechanical and associationist teaching of the alphabetic code.

 Este tiempo ha sido un año de retos y adaptaciones, aspectos que han impactado no solo en la vida personal y el desarrollo humano, sino también en la producción científica y la necesidad de adecuar estrategias de enseñanza, aprendizaje, evaluación y difusión. En este panorama la investigación para la paz y el estudio sobre la naturaleza y gestión de los conflictos adquiere mayor relevancia y protagonismo para contribuir a la consecución de metas en el marco de los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible y contrarrestar el aumento significativo de las violencias y las brechas de desigualdad social, cultural y económica. En este marco de búsqueda de crecimiento y contribución de mayor impacto en la generación de la ciencia necesaria para la búsqueda del mejoramiento social, la revista Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos realiza una alianza estratégica con la Red Académica Internacional de Investigación para la Paz (RAIIP) para constituirse en un espacio académico donde converjan investigaciones que fortalezcan la Cultura y Educación para la Paz, a través de la producción y divulgación científica de trabajos relacionados con los temas de Cultura de Paz, Educación para la Paz, Irenología, Polemología, Derechos Humanos, Métodos para la Transformación de Conflictos, y otras áreas disciplinares que enriquezcan la comprensión y la generación de ciencia enfocada a la paz y los conflictos. Esta revista científica tiene como visión convertirse en una de las más importantes revistas científicas de acceso abierto en estas temáticas en Latinoamérica, consolidando una plataforma en línea para la promoción de investigaciones que contribuyan a la creación, mantenimiento y fortalecimiento de una cultura de paz. Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos está dirigida a investigadores, docentes y miembros de la comunidad académico-científica interesados en el abordaje epistemológico, antropológico y ontológico en el estudio de las relaciones humanas en función de la paz y la naturaleza del conflicto como elemento inherente al ser humano, con las ventajas que otorga la multidisciplinariedad y la interdiscipinariedad de estas multidimensiones y con la misión principal de contribuir a la transdisciplinariedad de los trabajos que en ella se publican. Se trata de una revista arbitrada e indexada que utiliza el sistema de revisión externa por expertos (peer-review) en modo ciego, asignando las revisiones en función del conocimiento del tema y de las metodologías utilizadas para investigaciones sociales. La revista adopta y se adhiere a las normas de citación establecidas por la APA en su versión más actualizada según corresponda. Eirene se encuentra incluida en bases de datos como AmeliCA; LatinREV; REDIB y Latindex, además, y firmemente comprometidos con el impulso y difusión del conocimiento con acceso abierto, se ha tomado la decisión de firmar la Declaración de San Francisco sobre la Evaluación de la Investigación (DORA). Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos se fundamenta en la perspectiva teórico-práctica sobre la transversalidad de la Paz; impulsa y difunde investigaciones que generen ciencia básica y ciencia aplicada para contribuir permanentemente al fortalecimiento de una Cultura de Paz. Dr. Paris A. A chronological review of the sociological theories of conflict is necessary in order to better understandtheir essence, the different factors that determine their evolution and the resistances that are presentedin the approach to social conflict. To look at the connection between social conflict and modern thought,reviewing the social theory of conflict from the ideology of Mills, moving towards research for peace,addressing the concept of imperfect peace, and then address peace education as a tool for creating andgenerating a culture of peace. In this review, we will also review the connection that exists betweenviolence and environmental problems, in order to finally contemplate a series of challenges to theapproach to conflict theory in the decade of the 21st century.

La revista Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos surge con el objetivo de fortalecer las líneas de investigación sobre la Cultura y Educación para la Paz, a través de la producción y divulgación científica de trabajos relacionados con los temas de Cultura de Paz, Educación para la Paz, Irenología, Polemología, Derechos Humanos, Métodos Alternativos para la Transformación de Conflictos, y otras áreas disciplinares que enriquecen la comprensión y la generación de ciencia enfocada a la paz y los conflictos. It is exposed the social impact of the crime of extortion in Mexico which is systematic, this implies thatcriminal organizations daily commit extortion, in such a way that the charges of right fees or threats,or telephone fraud constitute a constant, there’s the inherent needs in care and prevention in thesecases, the business sector being affected and victims directly. Likewise, an analysis is made of the legalprovisions of this crime in the Mexican Republic and on the relevance of the use of restorative practices.Regarding the term restorative practices, it is understood that they are strategies derived from the useof restorative justice. The purpose of the use of restorative practices in the crime of extortion is to seekthe recomposition of the social fabric, allowing interaction between the victim, the offender, and evenwith the community, considering that the offender assumes responsibility and the victim decides how itcan be compensated. The main objective of this work is to demonstrate analytically the feasibility andrelevance of using restorative practices in this type of crime so that these cases can be relieved quicklyand with the premise of reparation of damage in all possible areas.

The present investigation basically focused on knowing the incidence that alternative conflict resolutionmechanisms have within the Colombian and Mexican criminal proceedings, and how through this a trueprocess of restorative justice can be achieved between victims (offended) and victimizers. (Offenders).Taking into account that the research was applied, the bibliographic, legal and jurisprudential reviewwas initially carried out; Immediately afterwards, the information that was useful for the developmentof each of the proposed objectives was selected; the analysis of the same proceeded, and in this waythe document was built with its respective results. Analyzing the selected information, it was foundthat within the criminal process there are mechanisms that guarantee restorative processes such asconciliation and mediation and the Restorative Board; and as a consequence, it is concluded thatconciliation is a restorative justice mechanism, whose main objective is that the parties reach arestorative agreement, where the damages caused are compensated, and on the other hand, in terms ofcriminal mediation, it was established that it has a higher incidence in post-conviction scenarios, aspart of the State’s criminal policy

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of the establishment of truth commissionsin our country, a phenomenon that is occurring in different countries, with the aim of clarifyingcontroversial facts, especially serious human rights violations, mainly about the forced disappearanceof people, which although some happened many years ago, continue to impact our society; It addressesthe right to the truth as an obligation of the Mexican State and as a right of victims, relatives andsociety to have these controversial facts investigated or, on occasions, denied to have occurred, by thegovernment, consisting of serious violations of human rights by the authorities; and it establishes theneed to prepare mediators and negotiators who are experts in the needs of this type of commission,who have exceptional qualities and training, and who understand transitional justice, to be an integralpart of these commissions.

The following paper analyzes the process of reintegration into society of children and adolescentsrecruited in the Colombian armed conflict, from a perspective of their own rights in the national andinternational framework. This article studies the mechanisms that the Colombian State has for itsindividual and collective reintegration in the psychosocial, community and family spheres. Likewise,this paper describes the spaces for the participation of children and youth in clarifying the truth,reconciling and building peace in the country, as part of the effort to repair these victims of the conflict

This article aims to call the attention of schools to review the conceptions of conflict and to the peacewith which they self-identify to turn towards what must be done from the education perspective. Thefirst section, describes the definitions of conflicts and its influence on change and transformation,the second one, capture the concepts of peace and its transformation, gain insight through viewsthat cannot being overlooked from the school and the actions that concern about the educationalcommunity members and finally lead to a peacebuilding education.

This article aims to analyze from documents the evolution of the culture of peace, from its firstconceptions to the development that it has achieved today, emphasizing the fundamental bases thatcharacterize this culture, considering the United Nations definition such are those behaviors, values,attitudes, traditions and lifestyles that contribute to the maintenance and practice of peace in all socialspheres. The culture of peace is centered on people, in such a way that an individual peace contributesto social peace and this to nonviolence.
