ABSTRACT The present research was with the intention of analyzing what is the handling that university students from indigenous communities give to social media platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact that this has on their learning. For this purpose, we rely on the quantitative methodological approach, counting on a universe of 168 indigenous students, corresponding to the long school year February-July 2020, all from the Bachelor of Education Sciences of the Academic Division of Education and Arts in the Autonomous Juárez University of Tabasco, in Mexico. Of the total universe, 44 indigenous students between 19 and 24 years old were taken as a study sample. For data collection, a closed question form on a Likert-type scale was used as an instrument with 3 categories of responses that were previously delimited, in order to identify the use that they give to social media platforms and impact on learning of indigenous students. The results showed that the students, although they live in communities far from the city, are not limited in being able to access these digital tools, unfortunately the use they give does not favor their learning. Keywords: Indigenous students, COVID-19, learning.

ABSTRACTThe migratory phenomenon has been those that the media have manipulated many times for partial purposes. A set of valuation prejudices derived from the lack of objectivity and dominance about its origin, causes and consequences concur, when the truth is that this is a complex, multi-causal issue and derived from economic, political, environmental situations or cultural from which positive and negative aspects have been derived. A space for reflection is presented that aims to encourage the need to study the subject and modify the projections of migration analysis as an absolutely harmful phenomenon to move them towards a thought more in line with the reality of a world in which humans are carriers of diverse motivations to emigrate and as people should be treated in conditions of equality and respect, regardless of their place of origin. Keywords:Migrations, illicit trafficking of persons, migratory phenomenon, causes of migration.

This essay is the product of the reflection generated for a conference in a seminar on curriculum and educational innovation. The new Mexican School is the name received from the current educational reform of which only the normative framework of it is available. Knowing the regulatory framework of the reform gives us clue to how the designers of the curriculum will translate it into the curriculum and programs. This leads us to consider what historical era does the New Mexican School represent? What is the model of citizen trained with the current curriculum? The usefulness of Herder's metaphor on seed and plant does not serve to think about the curriculum, educational innovation and the New Mexican School as a tree that would have to be analyzed on the elements that constitute it to understand them. The educational innovation conceived today requires innovating in the current change of historical era; the curriculum must be thought of from the subjects of curriculum development, that is, those teachers who constitute themselves as social subjects, without undermining what the subjects of determination and curriculum design provide; therefore, the New Mexican School requires a new teacher who adheres to an educational project by school or school zone, to a community i.e. other teachers with similar ideas and a utopia that education remains a factor of happiness, at least.

Constantly seeking to give better results in the student's reading processes, in this work the subject is approached from a position of the psychological process of learning. The purpose of the study is to measure the level of attention and memory in studies with low performance in reading comprehension. The type of study is descriptive. The study population is 93 fifth grade students of public primary schools the Toluca valley, in the State of Mexico, between 9 and 11 years old. The PROLEER test was applied to determine the reading level that they possess, once the students with low average were identified, the Neuropsi test was applied individually to measure the cognitive psychological processes, attention and memory. Descriptive statistics and different graphs are used to analyze the results to determine the characteristics of this group of children.

The purpose of this article is to explore through the reading of historical sources the previous knowledge of primary education teachers. What does it generate in the teacher to confront their knowledge with information that can question their concepts? Introspection strategies were applied to a group of fourth and sixth grade primary school teachers. The first strategy, Visualization of concepts, allowed to graphically record the initial knowledge of the teacher regarding the subject of the conquest of Mexico and the concepts a) military conquest and b) spiritual conquest. The second, La projection, consisted of the presentation of a selection of fragments on the same topic using historical sources with different historiographic versions. The exercise provoked a dialogue between the teachers, where highly significant comments were raised about reconstructing and resignifying their concepts and modifying their teaching work to favor the learning of history in children.

After the emergence of the COVID contingency, the teaching of face-to-face classes was impossible and the emigration to the virtual mode presented challenges for teachers, who were not mostly prepared for this challenge. However, ICT training is required for designing and implementing innovative processes consistently. This leads us to think about the need for participants to get adapted to new modalities, innovative implementations, digital resource usage, mobile applications, instructional design management, and the use of both portable devises and desktop equipment. Hence, with this experience, we need to reflect, evaluate and execute actions to be trained for the use of ICTs not only to face contingencies, but to increase the distribution of learning, implement innovative learning processes, improve the use of digital resources and be in line with the generations, which has habitually the mastery of this constantly evolving technology.

The research was raised based on the question: How to implement the academic program of social service in the blended-learning modality to increase the level of learning in intern doctors by university links of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa? The objective was to improve the learning of medical interns from social service assigned to university links. The material was designed following the ASSURE model that has its principles in constructivism, part of the specific characteristics of the student, of their learning styles and at the same time encourages participation and commitment. To achieve the objective, we worked with medical interns who performed their social service through university links, from August 2018 to July 2019. The experimental design (experimental group and a control group) was selected, with a quantitative, descriptive type approach and cross section. Participants were randomly selected. The pretest and posttest were applied to the control and experimental group. The experimental group received the treatment. Two variables of interest were analyzed, the independent variable: blended-learning and the dependent variable: learning level. The statistic for related tests of student t was applied to test the null hypothesis: When implementing the academic program of social service in blended-learning modality, the level of learning is increased in the medical interns of social service by university affiliation. It is concluded that the implementation of the academic program of medical social service in the blended-learning modality improved the learning of the medical interns assigned to university links. The work carried out confirms the support of integrating ICT as strategies and didactic resources to the educational process.

The current outbreak of the new coronavirus SARS CoV 2 (coronavirus disease 2019; formerly CoV 2019), epicentric in the Hubei province of the People’s Republic of China, has spread to many other countries. In January 2020, the WHO Emergency Committee declared a global health emergency based on increased case reporting rates in Chinese and international locations. Having as a consequence that the entire population at the world level felt the need to generate a period of confinity to prevent the spread of the virus, In the case of education, the classroom mode was suspended and at a crossroads managers and teachers sought to transfer their classes from the classroom to the virtual mode. Objective: to associate the emotional state in students of Higher Level Methodology: the type of analytical, obasevacional, prospective and transversal research. A quantitative technique was used, the quantitative variables were measures of central trend (mean) and dispersion (minimum, maximum and SD ranges). The emotional state and type of university evaluated with the student t statistical test for related samples. The Emotional State was measured with the Metacognition Trait Scale on Emotional States (TMMS-24). Results: the comparison of the type of university with the different subscales of the Emotional States, of which, in none was found a statistically significant association, so the type of university does not condition the predominance over some subscale. Conclusion: Most students, both from public and private universities, have an adequate management of their emotional intelligence, with emotional attention being the most frequently presented as adequate.
