Eight cases of patients suffering from gastric ulcer are presented. They underwent resection of the ulcer to which was associated vagotomy with gastric drainage operation, as surgical treatment. This procedure was not adopted from choice, but became necessary· due either to the serious condition of the patients, to the location of the ulcerous crater, or the patients advanee age. Postoperatory evolution was good. W e believe this procedure is worth considerations for this type of patient.

In conjunction with a case, a survey is conducted of the syndrome of PlummerVinson, including the clinical, hematologic, radiologic and endoscopic aspects. An analysis of the pathogenic notions reveals the diversity of views in the production mechanism of this very peculiar condition, stress being laid on the significance of the hematologic dis, turbances as primary microcytic features. Hypochromic anemia, probably due to a disturbed iron metabolism and to avitaminosis are apparently the main causative factors.Diagnosis is based on an understanding of the syndrome and an investigation of its component,s. Treatment involves the replacement of the dificit elements as well as a permanentfollow-up in view of the chronic course of the disease and its tendency toward remissions and exacerbations. Due consideration should be given to the likelihood of neoplastictransformation, a feature demanding a periodic control of those suffering this bizarre syndrome.

The objective of this article was to demonstrate the effect of El Niño phenomenon (FEN) on the equity profitability of Peruvian fishing and agro-industrial companies and their coverage with the adaptation of derivative contracts. The research was quantitative, descriptive and explanatory based on the quantification of factors that influence the decrease in the profitability of the Peruvian fishing and agro-industrial companies in the period of 2010 to 2018. The sample selected by convention was made up of 4 companies that are listed on the Lima Stock Exchange, on the one hand, obtaining the annual financial statements of the companies and, on the other hand, the statistical record of the presence of the FEN and the temperature of the regions in which the studied companies are located. Obtaining as evidence of negative incidence by the Temperature and FEN factors on the equity profitability of the companies, whose values are shown in Table 2 and model (1) and the price of hedging with derivatives. The results obtained show the negative effect of temperature and FEN factors on the profitability of Peruvian fishing and agro-industrial companies, whose insurance is possible by adopting the OTC contracting of long-term options, which ensures the loss of value in the profitability of companies.

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo describir los acontecimientos de la guerra internacional por el equipo sanitario en tiempos de la pandemia del COVID-19, sucedida en marzo del presente año. Se identificaron el país agresor, el país agredido y el material objeto de la acción de intervención, y así se elaboró un estudio documental de enfoque cualitativo y con orientación interpretativa, también se trabajó sobre la base de información que procedió de fuentes documentales de habla hispana (periódicos digitales disponibles en la red). La información se organizó en una tabla donde se presenta información sobre el periodo, acontecimiento, países involucrados y modo en que se resolvió el conflicto. Se encontró que varios países participaron en el conflicto (Francia, Estados Unidos, España, Alemania, Turquía y otros), tanto como agresores y como víctimas, operando con reglas de mercado que desestimaron las reglas del comercio internacional actual.

The purpose of this research work was to demonstrate that SMEs, small and medium enterprises, are basic political organizations, the product of entrepreneurs and that, due to little or no State support, they operate in the informality of our economy. Regarding the methodology, the type of research is basic. The research design is non-experimental. The sample consisted of scientific articles. The instrument used was the documentary analysis guide. The investigation reached the following conclusions: The SMEs, small and medium enterprises in Peru, are basic economic organizations, product of the entrepreneur and that, due to little or no support of the State, they operate in the informality. Informality in Peruvian economy is structural.
