Resumen
An observation of tension pneumoperitoneum is presented, due to a perforated ulcus, which had to be punctured before the surgical intervention. The severe symptoms of respiratory failure, which made active treatment impossible, were thus improved.

Resumen
The paper presents the results of the observation of ci rrhosis of the liver with portal hipertension and serious digestive hemorrhage due to rupture of esophagogastricvarices in a patient with an eightmonth pregnancy. A caesarean (extraction of the dead fetus) as well as anastomosis termino lateral porto-cava, was performed in the same surgicalprocedure. The association cirrhosis-pregnancy and the sur'gical tactics employed, are discussed.

Resumen
In order to acquire practice in instrumental management, check the effectiveness of the sutures and achieve histopathological studies in different periods of evolution, sutures made with mechanical suture instruments of Russian origin, performed on dogs in the Laboratory of Experimental Surgery are shown. of the Chair of Surgical Pathology. Arterial end-to-end sutures, intestinal lateral lateral sutures, partial lung resection, and pneumonectomy are shown. It is concluded that the suturesthey are hermetic, regular and non-ischemic; that do not give abnormal inflammatory reactions and that significantly reduce some operative times.

The paper presents one case of operatory section of the common bile duct repaired in the same operation through a colochoduodenostomy on a tube, which had an excellent evolution. The reparatory surgery tok place in 1936.

Resumen
The paper presents the results of the observation of a politraumatized patient in a serious condition due to multiple bullet wounds; this gave rise to problems in diagnosis, in the intensive preoperatory freatment, in surgical tactics and in a 'long and complicated postoperatory period during which time acute kidney insufficiency and respiratory insufficiency were. the cause of serious problems, fortunately satisfactorily solved. We believe this patient was saved thanks to the fact that the University Hospital is equipped with adequate means for dealing with this type of patient and has sufficient technical personnel.

Resumen
A case of an enormous pseudo-cyst of the pancreas is presented. The main symptoms were general repercussion and jaundice. The patient, during the course of its evolution, presented acute abdominal symptoms due to the rupture of the cyst in the great peritoneal cavity making it necessary to perform urgent surgery under precarious conditions.A double derivation, cysto-jejunum and cholecysto-jejunum, together with intensive medical treatment lead to the recovery of the patient.
