A case of simultaneous mammary cancer is reported upon.

The case of a 3 year old girl admitted to hospital with a pressure pneumothorax which was treated by thoracentesis, is reported

A 68-year-old man with COPD and right lung adenocarcinoma treated with chemoradiotherapy. He came to the emergency room for intense epigastric pain of 12 hours of evolution, without previous trauma. An urgent CT scan revealed a left anterior diaphragmatic herniation with abundant intrathoracic jejunal loops next to the colonic splenic flexure (Fig. 1, 2 and 3). They present marked dilation, interase fluid and a change in caliber, compatible with torsion of the mesenteric pedicle, obstruction and intestinal distress. He was operated on urgently, showing a non-traumatic hernial ring (congenital, probably Bochdalek) that compresses and necrotic the jejunum and splenic flexure. Hernia repair was performed with intestinal and segmental colon resection. Diaphragmatic hernia repair included exposure of the defect and continuous suture with resorbable material, avoiding the placement of prosthetic mesh due to the high risk of intestinal anastomosis leakage and subsequent infection. Favorable postoperative evolution, currently being followed up in consultations.

39-year-old woman, consulted for heel pain for a year, with anodyne X-ray. At 5 months, she presented an abscessed tumor in the heel (Fig. 1), and drainage and biopsy of the tumor was performed, which reported high-grade spindle cell sarcoma. An MRI study was completed, which described a 5-cm excretory tumor contacting the calcaneus and plantar fascia (Fig. 2: yellow arrows). It was pending to start chemotherapy. After a month, she presented with cough and hemoptysis, and the chest tomography revealed bilateral pulmonary metastases with a large tumor in the right upper lobe (Fig. 3: yellow arrows). At 15 days, he presented an acute abdomen, and emergency surgery was found to find jejunal perforation due to a tumor implant with peritoneal carcinomatosis and multiple liver metastases. A segmental resection of the jejunum with anastomosis was performed, and she was discharged and died after a month due to the evolution of the disease. Sarcomas present a rapid progression with development of metastases. The early diagnosis of these tumors is vital to improve the prognosis.

Diverticular disease of the appendix is infrequent and its incidence is generally estimated by studying appendectomy specimens. They are usually asymptomatic, but can occasionally perforate and present clinically as acute appendicitis. In other cases they are associated with acute appendicitis. We present a clinical case of a 46-year-old patient who consulted for an acute abdomen that was interpreted as acute appendicitis and with such a diagnosis he underwent surgery. It was confirmed intraoperatively and in the study of the resection specimen that also reported the presence of an appendicular diverticulum.

The present work is the 2nd part of a report on 18 cases of "uregimenous cholangiopathy" (Demeulaneure), primarily marked by th association of obstructive angiocholitis an drenal failure, in the course of actue biliary syndrome. 

A study is carried out of the indications, technique and results in 16 cases of hiatus hernia due to sliding and one esophagitis form cardiac fundus malformations treated with Nissen's funduplicature. 

A case of gallstone intestinal obstruction is reported. Roentgenologic study by means of a barium meal showed the type of the bilioenteric fistula

A survey is carried out of 200 cases of gastric cancer comprising 167 operations: 52 simple laparatomies, 47 palliative interventions and 68 resections (of which 14 palliative)

Two cases of biliary ileus are reported. The value of X ray examination for correct diagnosis, is pointed out.
