Resumen
Soil Biotechnology is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative method to improve soil slope stability, as well as to control slope surface erosion. Vegetation, which is part of soil bioengineering, can indirectly affect slope stability through its influence on fluctuations in soil water content. Furthermore, it has the ability to control the adverse effects of rainfall on the slope surface and can draw water from the soil through evapotranspiration. These conditions can reduce soil moisture and pore pressure, increase soil shear strength, and increase resilience. Vegetation roots tend to increase soil permeability, infiltration, and moisture content. In this research, vegetation was used for soil bioengineering in the form of plants that grow wild and are easily found in the mainland of South Kalimantan Province, in Indonesia. These plants include Teki, Paitan, Elephant, Setaria, and Alang-alang grasses. This research aims to determine the effects of different plants and their root types on the surface of the soil slope, especially to determine changes in the value of the soil shear strength, the resisting moment of slope failure, and the safety factor of the slope's stability. Accordingly, soil testing and the analysis of slope stability were carried out using the direct shear test and the Bishop methods respectively with the help of the 2022 version of the Geo5 computer application program. The results showed that the use of Elephant grass vegetation on the slope surface was able to increase the shear strength of the soil, the landslide resisting moment, and the safety factor for slope stability which was better than other types of vegetation.

Resumen
The main objective of the research arises from the need to analyze the levels of service and the relationship between volume and road capacity of road sections entering the city of Machala by calculating the HCM 2010 manual and checking the data using the software aimun simulation. The process to be carried out begins with a vehicle capacity, which obtains data such as speeds and vehicle classification, then the data is processed, preparing maximum demand variation tables to obtain the hourly volume of maximum demand and the hourly factor of maximum demand for the subsequent use of the Velocity-Flow Curve chart for service levels. Complying with this process, the results are detailed below: La Vía Pajonal obtained a level of service A, Avenida Bolívar Madero Vargas a level of service C, in Avenida Colon Tinoco, Ferroviaria, Vía la Primavera and June 25, levels of service B, these results were verified with the simulations carried out in Aimsun. The relationship between Volume-capacity of the roads was obtained where Av. 25 de Junio, Av. Bolívar Madero Vargas and Vía la Primavera obtained values of v/c equal to 23%, while the rest of the revenues remain at values per less than 20% of its capacity.

Resumen
Industrial projects such as single-story, high-rise structures, are commonly used in countries with high seismicity, whose structural system is made up of bracing, which is responsible for providing sufficient resistance. and rigidity to the structure. The interesting about multi-panel frames is that they don’t have a rigid diaphragm between more than two panels of the structure.
The present makes the non-linear dynamic analyzes (time-history) to each structural model to obtain values that allow evaluating the seismic performance of the structures and to compare the results obtained from each applied design methodology to finally conclude about the observed behavior of the multi-tiered braced-frames system (MTBF).

Resumen
This article studies four sewers of different types, located on the road that connects the cantons Portoviejo and Pichincha in the province of Manabí in order to know their degree of vulnerability to extreme weather events as a result of the effects of climate change. Through the collection of historical rainfall data obtained in the meteorological stations closest to the place of study, the equation of intensity duration frequency (IDF) of the contributing basins is developed, later by means of specialized software the capacity to evacuate the flows produced before different precipitation intensities generated by return periods of 10 was evaluated, 25, 50 100 and 500 years that involve meteorological conditions of extreme rainfall, simulating effects of climate change. After the evaluation it was possible to verify that for return periods of 10 years, 75% of the evaluated sewers worked submerged at the entrance and that from rains with a return period of 50 years they begin to generate water overflows on the road, additionally in all the conditions evaluated erosive discharge speeds were presented.

Resumen
The use of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) rebars avoid the accelerated deterioration that reinforced concrete structures suffer due to the corrosion of the steel reinforcement. FRP composite rebars are made of longitudinally aligned fibers embedded in a polymeric resin, being E-CR glass the predominant type of fiber in the FRP rebar industry. However, in the last decade the use of basalt fiber has increased significantly due to the enhanced mechanical properties and reduced environmental impact compared to E-CR glass.
This paper lists the main properties that BFRP rebars have, summarizes the existing standards and specifications including the new ASTM specification for basalt fibers, and evaluates their use through existing practical construction projects. The aim of this article is to create a frame of reference to introduce the necessary tools for professionals in the construction industry to use BFRP rebars in lieu of steel where non-corrosive reinforcement is needed to extend the service life of the built infrastructure.

Resumen
In order to guarantee water security, government technicians and organized civil society have developed efforts to adequately manage hydrographic basins. These efforts can be unsuccessful if appropriate methodologies are not used to plan the medium-term objectives to which a river basin is to be brought. Strategic planning for the integral management of hydrographic basins involves, in general, establishing the claims of the actors for periods of between 10 and 20 years and how they can be achieved. Establishing management strategies make it possible to identify problems, set an intervention priority, analyze management options, and analyze costs and benefits. Through the application of strategic planning, it is demonstrated that defining a framework for the management of the Casacay river sub-basin gives an imprint of objectivity to decision-making and guarantees that the programs and projects that are executed achieve a positive impact.

Resumen
The use of ferrocement on water and sanitation units had its higher application on Minas Gerais State of Brazil. The structure made by FRP together welded steel fabrics constituent the reinforced of cylindrical tanks. Since 1993 these tanks were arranged to serve communities in form of Potable Water Treatment Plants (ETA in Portuguese) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (ETE in Portuguese). A financial feasibility study carried out comparing the costs of units on ferrocement and reinforced concrete in a flow rate of 12 and 24 L/s and proved the saving from 50% to 60%, showed in the paper. An ETA have a classic hydraulic concept composed by flash mixing camera, flocculation, sedimentation and filtration. Since 1998 were developed wastewater treatment plants with a reactor UASB with volume until 400 m³ for flow up around to 30 L/s with efficient of 80% of removal of organic load. The construction is showed step to step on the paper. Finally, is showed a future project of a ferrocement rain water collector in form of hyperbolic paraboloids connect into a roof of a tank to reserve this precious water. The water supply service and sewage treatment on smaller villages and municipalities can take on ferrocement a promising material.

Resumen
Given the conditions in which the working world has developed since 2019, due to the pandemic of COVID-19, it is necessary to pay attention to how these conditions have influenced the emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal fulfillment of those who have been exposed to the pandemic. The present research aims to assess the level of Burnout syndrome and clinical anxiety in workers of the company "Luminox" in the year 2022. The quali-quantitative method was applied, with a non-probabilistic sample of 108 workers, using the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire consisting of 22 items. As well as the Beck Anxiety Inventory, a test consisting of 21 questions.
As part of the results, it was found that the company has a 67.97% high risk for the diagnosis of Burnout syndrome. A high level of emotional exhaustion of 53%, high depersonalization of 75%, low personal fulfillment of 75.93% and moderate clinical anxiety of 45.37%, among other results, were assessed. From this, it was concluded that the majority of workers infected by COVID - 19 presented high clinical levels of personal exhaustion, moderate clinical anxiety and low levels of personal fulfillment. The study group with the highest scores for moderate clinical anxiety were those who were not currently studying and those with basic levels of schooling.

Resumen
The verbal fluency test at the phonological and semantic level is a procedure for evaluating the capacity for semantic memory or mental dictionary, integrity of executive functions and ability to retrieve information. Although the first investigations and normative data were studied in English-speaking localities, there are few studies carried out in the Spanish-speaking population. The purpose of this research work is to obtain the necessary data to generate adequate scales for the adult population of Ecuador, for which adult subjects between 18 and 80 years of age were evaluated. The parameters that were taken into account were age, gender and educational level. When measuring the category of semantic fluency, the person was asked to say as many animals as possible in the space of 60 seconds, while to evaluate phonological fluency, they had to 23 mention all the words that begin with the letter «p» in a minute. The arithmetic means and standard deviation of the population segments under study were extracted, useful data for the generation of scales in the Ecuadorian population. Gender, chronological age and educational level determine results in the applied tests. Gender, chronological age and educational level determine results in the applied tests.
