The objective was to understand the training process in research as an academic practice, raising the need for strategies in the face of the weak habit of reading in training settings that allow us to respond to the crisis of interpretation of social problems. This reflection was raised from the phenomenological-hermeneutic method with a social-critical approach in a period of 2 years, training and accompanying 436 students with 145 proposals of formative research, collecting information through 5 semi-structured interviews with teachers and 50 student surveys. Therefore, this reflection is the starting point of a pedagogical proposal that promotes reading and critical reflection exercises. Consequently, the social sciences must formulate research routes that cross the curriculum, seeking in turn to guide and enhance the work of students in research procedures.

The article exposes the results of a critical analysis of the implementation process of the program Escuela Nueva in Colombia. It proposes a review at the policy borrowing process from an international perspective, as well as a description of the dynamics of implementation within the Colombian context. For such aim, an exhaustive analysis was performed by implementing a qualitative documentary review, using a typological sample selection of sources. The conclusions suggest the need to consider attendance and transition indicators as key elements for decision making regarding the continuity, diversification and improvement of the program, as well as the urgency of unifying the national goals in pursuit of a coordinated implementation of rural programs.

Health professionals are the most vulnerable to factors that trigger work stress associated with Burnout syndrome, which usually affects their work performance and the quality of their attention, causing frequent complaints from users, particularly at the first level of attention at health system centers. Objective: To identify the presence of the Burnout syndrome in its 3 dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal fulfillment to identify the level of work performance in its four scales: technical quality and medical attention, training and continuing education, productivity, skills; and to establish whether there is a relation between Burnout syndrome and work performance in health personnel at the Vallecito I-3 Health Center, Puno (Peru). Method: Descriptive-correlational, the sample consisted of the total number of workers in the health establishment. The instruments were the Maslach Burnout Inventory test and the job performance self-assessment questionnaire. Results: Burnout Syndrome 7.09 on a scale of 1 to 10 (s = 2.32), work performance 35.71 on a scale of 0 to 40 (s = 0.81), there is no correlation between both variables (r = 0.063). Conclusion: It is concluded that the Burnout syndrome reaches medium level, the work performance is high and there is no relationship established between the Burnout syndrome and the work performance of health personnel.

The objective of the research was to improve the level of knowledge of preventive techniques in oral health through the Educational Program called "Healthy mouths, happy faces" in children under 5 in vulnerable situations in Puno (Peru). Study was experimental, longitudinal and prospective with pre and posttest using educational and communicative method. The simplified Greene-Vermillion index and a validated questionnaire called "Oral Health for Parents" were used to evaluate oral hygiene in children. From the analysis of the results, it’s highlighted that the aforementioned program should be considered in prevention and promotion of oral health, since it promotes optimal knowledge in the adult population that was evident in the oral health of children under 5 years of age at the end of the intervention. It’s concluded that an educational program on prevention in oral health improves the level of knowledge of parents about the oral health of their children, reducing bacterial plaque in children, evidenced by a positive index of oral hygiene after the intervention.

The research aimed to determine the effects of the Interactive Physics software on the dynamic learning of a particle in engineering students from the National University of Juliaca (Peru-2017), in order to optimize the academic performance of the students of the Professional School Textile and Clothing Engineering. The research design was quasi-experimental for the application of the Interactive Physics software. Seeking that the student interact in their learning process related to the application of Newton's laws in solving problems of particle dynamics. For the collection of information, the written test of knowledge of the dynamics of a particle has been used. The population was made up of students from the second semester of Textile and Apparel Engineering. The results indicate that 8% of the students in the experimental group are in the very good category in relation to the students in the 4% control group who are in the very good category.

The investigation had the purpose of verifying the influence of the collaborative learning strategy on the achievement of cognitive, procedural and attitudinal performance and learning. Being the quasi-experimental study oriented to the study of cause relationships between the variables in question and thus describe and explain the phenomena found. To support the research, an explanatory quantitative methodology was used that allowed us to conclude that collaborative learning positively influences the achievement of cognitive, procedural and attitudinal learning. The results show that 85.18% of students increased their scores for unit II compared to unit I. It is a strategy that contributes to the humanization of the educational system and with it would banish the concept of "academic solitude". However, an individualistic education that removes the human sensitivity of the students, what it sees is the stratification of groups that elitize and dehumanize education. Well, the idea of meritocracy and competitiveness generates in the apprentices the idea of "as long as I am well, the rest does not matter".

This research has as a target to determine the degree of correlation between family communication and self-esteem in adolescents in urban and rural areas of the Lampa district of the Puno region (Peru). The approach is descriptive-correlational quantitative with stratified simple random probability sampling. The sample was made up of 261 adolescents of both genres aged between 12 to 17 years old. The instruments used were the Barnes & Olson Parent / Child Family Communication Questionnaire and the Rosemberg Self-Esteem Scale. The results revealed, using the Spearman's Rho non-parametric test, an average positive correlation of 0.5 in urban areas and a considerable positive correlation of 0.8 in rural areas. In conclusion, adolescents present family communication and medium-level self-esteem, resulting in a good level of family communication leading to good self-esteem in adolescents and vice versa.

The current investigation analyzes the effect that the school principal has had on the performance of students. It begins with a review of the literature on the effectiveness of the principal, its characteristics and its particularities in Peru. Then, it develops the empirical section by using longitudinal data from the Young Lives program and its School Survey; and by using educational production functions, implementing instrumental variables, it estimates the effect of the principal on students’ performance on standardized tests of mathematics and language. The principal outcome of the study is linked to a positive effect of the principal on student performance, with an important magnitude, associated with the characteristics of a developing country.

The objective was to evaluate the level of tax education related to the first category income tax collection in Peruvian university students. This work is in the quantitative approach, descriptive type, and cross-correlational design. The sample consisted of 3,560 students (between men and women between 18 and 25 years old), which was obtained using the non-probabilistic and convenience sampling technique. To obtain data, the Tax Education Questionnaire was applied, which was prepared by the authors under the theoretical assumptions of the Tax Court attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru. The statistical processing was carried out using the variance analysis technique (ANOVA) of the variables tax education (1) and tax collection (2). The results indicated that there is a direct association between the mentioned variables with a p-value = 0.001. In conclusion, tax education is directly related to tax collection.
