La gestión territorial es uno de los componentes más importantes para alcanzar un correcto desarrollo de los destinos turístico, permitiendo planificar el uso y usufructo de los recursos o espacios. La presente investigación es de tipo exploratoria-experimental, tuvo como objetivo diseñar una herramienta tecnológica para la gestión turística local en destinos rurales, caso Represa Río Grande ubicada en la parroquia Rural Santa Rita del cantón Chone. Esta investigación se compone de 3 fases metódicas: identificación y análisis situacional del área de estudio, diseño de interfaz de usuarios, construcción y testeo. Se identificó una falta de cultura para generar información, estableciendo así que la Represa Río Grande es un lugar idóneo para implementar el App Web en función de que sirva como referencia para la gestión turística de destinos, se reconocieron 3 funcionalidades que configuraron la herramienta; el registro de visitantes y observatorio turístico local, mapa interactivo de información y recursos turísticos como también el panel para gestión de emergencias. El desarrollo estructural realizado a través de la plataforma ArcGis Online y sus demás aplicaciones demostró la aplicabilidad de la herramienta en el sector turístico gracias a la alta capacidad de recolección, análisis y gestión de datos.

This research proposes applying an innovative methodology, based on real practices, to bring students closer to organizations and transfer knowledge and practices in the field of strategic communication and public relations in all of its dimensions. To carry out this methodology, the article presents the design and execution of the "Recycle Hope" campaign, which is based on two aspects that support this article: The first refers to the learning outcomes of the Public Relations 1 subject and its connection with other subjects of the Communications major; and the second refers to the search for good--in this case we refer to the problems experienced by garbage recyclers in the city of Quito. To support this teaching methodology, the theoretical review was based on strategic communication, public relations and social responsibility. The purpose is to demonstrate the results of this teaching methodology and the benefits it brings to students and society in general, as well as for the constant improvement of the academic curriculum.

It is well known that curiosity is the engine of learning. It leads to creativity that allows the development of ideas, skills and ways to solve a problem. However, curiosity and creativity are not correctly valued in traditional education, so it must be modified. One alternative is to allow the child to ask questions when observing a phenomenon and to seek to answer their concerns by exploring the world around them. In this sense, "Ciencia al Rescate" ("Science to the Rescue") is an outreach project of USFQ that seeks to recover the capacity of children and youth to explore through experiments, fun reading, or videos focused on exact and natural sciences. Teachers from different educational institutions, organizations, and the Ministry of Education already use this material. The aim of this project is to sow love for science from an early age and to encourage curiosity, thus stimulating a taste for learning and understanding science and its developments.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo mostrar algunas de las alternativas que el microemprendedor tiene para financiar su emprendimiento. La investigación es cualitativa y exploratoria. Como resultado se pudo identificar varias fuentes de financiamiento disponibles de forma local y no local con sus principales ventajas y desventajas. Finalmente para el emprendedor a pesar de la existencia de estas opciones se ha presentado un panorama desalentador por la lenta recuperación después del Covid-19 que ha tenido la economía no solo del Ecuador sino de muchos países de la región latinoamericana.  

El objetivo principal del manuscrito es realizar un estudio bibliométrico sobre la producción científica relacionada al pensamiento crítico en el entorno educativo publicado en la Web of Science. Para ello, se identificaron un total de 576 documentos publicados desde el año 2000 al 2022, recuperados de la base de datos Web of Science, dando como resultado, indicadores bibliométricos de producción, visibilidad, impacto y colaboración. Se puede concluir que existe un ritmo sostenible y exponencial de la producción científica sobre el pensamiento crítico en el entorno educativo, evidenciando el interés por los diferentes aspectos y procesos que intervienen en su desarrollo y aplicación, además, se reconoce que las instituciones que apoyan la divulgación de resultados a través de revistas de alto impacto son instituciones de educación superior.

El presente artículo se elabora teniendo en consideración que la posesión de armas por muchos integrantes de la comunidad civil es un tema que ha creado grandes polémicas en el marco del fenómeno conocido como seguridad ciudadana. El incremento del grado de agresión e infracciones en el mundo en general, constituye aquella explicación comprobada y adquirir un arma especialmente de fuego, sin dejar a un lado la existencia de armas blancas, explosivas, incendiarias, entre otras. El objetivo de esta investigación se enmarca en  configurar el delito de robo en la ciudad de Ambato, los medios de utilización de armas, como el arma blanca en el cometimiento de delitos, y la existencia de mecanismos de control ciudadano. Se recurre a una metodología fundamentada en: Marco Teórico para conocer de forma general, específica y fundamentada los elementos de la situación a ser estudiada. Consta además de una Investigación descriptiva y recopilación documental mediante la revisión de  literatura y bibliográfica en recursos web.

The objective of this research is to provide an alternative solution through 3D printing of the handle of the glass elevator of the Chevrolet Aveo vehicle, which was simulated and evaluated in Inspire software where its mechanical properties were verified prior to printing. The 3D printing process was performed, and the weights of the original and optimized handle were compared with Inspire and Simsolid software, respectively. In addition, the displacements, safety factor, and deformation analysis of the original and optimized handle were compared. The study was based on the multi-criteria and COPRAS methods, to compare materials selected as the best alternatives to replace the original (PLA, PC and PVC). The results showed that the most suitable material to replace the original is PLA because it has excellent mechanical and physical characteristics. Through Inspire it was possible to change the original design of the handle, obtaining an optimized proposal with a 2.7% lower weight, in addition, the 3D printing time is reduced by 8.3% compared to the original model. With the present study it can be mentioned that the PLA alternative material is ideal to replace the original ABC-PC, and the benefits of the analysis contribute to have an alternative to industrial production in the world of vehicles.

School discrimination is an issue that affects the integral development of students, in this sense, a research will be conducted to identify discriminatory practices that occur in the students of the I.E. Cisneros of the municipality of Cisneros (Antioquia), through a contextual analysis to determine their causes, their factors and thereby design an intervention strategy to reduce cases of school discrimination and thus improve coexistence in the institution. Action research as a method, has had to gain space in the academic and scientific community, a space that has been winning over the strict scientific method and the positivist paradigm. This research is qualitative in nature and the type of study is action research. The qualitative approach and action research were selected because they allow us to approach the school reality in a way that facilitates understanding the context and describing the real processes from the participants' perspectives; also because it is more appropriate to have access to the world of other people's lives in a short time. Interviews were conducted with two focus groups (students and teachers) from which the emerging categories are extracted.
