Since the 90s in Ecuador there has been a phenomenon of migration of Anglo-Saxon and European citizens, due to its climate, nature and being considered a "quiet" country. These migrants have settled in a particular way in the city of Cuenca, positioning themselves among the South American cities preferred by tourists and Anglo-Saxons to live their retirements; In addition, the economic and tourist growth of the city makes it attractive for foreign investment; however, there is no Spanish language teaching offer, which is essential for foreigners residing in the city and for seasonal tourists. Situation that motivated this descriptive research with a quantitative approach, with the objective of analyzing the feasibility of creating a study center to teach Spanish for Anglo-Saxon foreigners. In this sense, the research methods were used: documentary review, analytical-synthetic and statistical; as well as the survey technique, which was applied to a sample of 61 Anglo-Saxon foreigners. The results determine that it is a viable project due to its financial indexes, net present value of US$70,923; an internal rate of return of 102%; a benefit/cost of US$3.34 and PE or payback in 1 year.

The Covid-19 pandemic has triggered a series of health and economic problems worldwide; forcing governments to make quick decisions to mitigate its effects, including the implementation of social isolation measures, which caused the slowdown, and in other cases paralysis and collapse of many production sectors; as is the case of ventures, which abruptly and in an unusual period of time, were forced to adapt to avoid their decline and failure. The objective of this cross-sectional descriptive research with a quantitative approach is to analyze the economic effects of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 in SME-type ventures in the "Galápagos" neighborhood, for which the probabilistic regression econometric method was used. Logistics. The main results express that the probability of economic affectation for the enterprises of the Galapagos neighborhood is 53.08%.

Innovative didactic strategies based on Information and Communication Technologies have become essential in the modern world, where virtual education occupies an increasing place. The present study is carried out, taking into account the experience obtained in the teaching of the subjects in the Accounting and Auditing Technology career belonging to the online modality of the Bolivarian Higher University Institute of Technology, with the objective of analyzing the importance of the didactic strategies based on playful virtual environments, aimed at achieving quality in the accounting student's learning. The methodology used responds to a descriptive study with a quantitative approach; for which, the research methods were used: bibliographic review, analytical-synthetic and statistical; as well as the survey technique. Among the main findings, the perception of teachers and students about the importance of recreational activities in virtual learning environments stands out, who consider that the gamification of teaching significantly favors the cognitive, procedural and attitudinal dimensions of learning.

Educating geographically is an essential task, which has been at the center of the cultural assimilation of human beings at all times; Despite the advances of civilization, the study of geographic space and its appropriation to develop social activity continues to be essential in the present and the future. The article reflects on the challenges of teaching Geography and its contributions to the improvement of cognitive activity. The work is oriented to offer a method as a way to develop geographical thinking. The qualitative methodological design followed uses action research in three work cycles: analysis of practice, reflection on theory, and construction of a methodological proposal derived from the extraction of relevant experiences. The main result describes a method that integrates the principles of location, integrity, evolution and geographic scale, as well as a procedure for working with geographic regularities; This being a solution to direct from education the process of development of geographic thought, at the same time that it opens various possibilities as a methodological path to promote educational action with respect to geographic space.

This descriptive study with a quantitative approach aims to analyze the sociocultural changes experienced by the Mundimba ethnolinguistic subgroup in the municipality of Cahama in the town of Kakuio, Cunene province; For this, scientific research methods were used: bibliographic, ethnographic, historical-logical and statistical review; as well as the survey technique. Among the main results is that the changes in behavior patterns (habits, customs and traditions) that this group has been suffering are given by the socialization process and, in a certain way, by the high rates of social mobility triggered by the growing rate of rural exodus. This process is responsible for the diversity that translates into ways of thinking, feeling and acting and, at the same time, in the loss or alteration of features or identity elements of that people.

The definition of Corporate Social Responsibility is still under development; where the way in which organizations manage their business activities to achieve their goals and objectives is taken into account, with consideration of the perspectives of the interest groups involved and above all they have responsibility for the impact of their activities on these groups and the environment. This review-type descriptive research with a qualitative approach is developed with the purpose of analyzing the strategic role of human talent management in the application of Corporate Social Responsibility and describing the existence of influence between both variables. The methods of scientific observation, documentary review, analytical-synthetic and deductive-inductive were used; as well as the content analysis technique. As a result, Corporate Social Responsibility is the key to sustainability; therefore, the higher level must communicate about labor management and impact on the community, generating benefits for stakeholders and the organization.

Dating violence in adolescents occurs frequently in educational institutions in the municipality of Uncía, North Potosí due to various social, educational and cultural factors. In this context, the present descriptive study with a quantitative approach is developed with the objective of analyzing the situation of violence in the dating stage in adolescents of 5th and 6th grade of secondary school in the Municipality of Uncía, Northern Region of Potosí, Bolivia. For the collection of information, the survey technique was applied to a sample of 48 adolescents between 13 and 18 years of age, from the Municipality of Uncía in the Northern Region of Potosí, Bolivia, randomly selected. It is concluded that the respondents consider that the causes that directly influence adolescent violence in the courtship stage are jealousy, infidelity and the little communication that exists between couples; aspects related to the emotional situation of this stage of life.

Museums as spaces for culture, diffusion and education, in the teaching-learning process, anticipate in the teaching action the strengthening of active teaching and contact with reality; however, there are still limitations in its use by educators, caused by ignorance and insufficient methodological preparation; For this reason, this work has the purpose of analyzing the importance of museums in the teaching of Social Sciences of Higher Basic General Education as a contribution to the methodological enrichment of the teacher for the use of these spaces for the promotion of knowledge, recreation, active participation of the new generations as an efficient way for education, formation of values ​​and cultural enrichment. The inquiry was systematized through the hermeneutic, historical-logical and analytical-synthetic methods; as well as, in the documentary analysis technique. Among the main findings are the importance of museums as agents of social awareness, testimony, memory, research and contribution to the study of Social Sciences, an essential pillar for the development of critical reasoning capacity in the field of humanities, description of the historical context that leads to the rescue of the cultural identity of the students.

The reader's understanding is the basis for learning in other areas of knowledge. The objective of this essay is to analyze the importance of reading comprehension in the basic areas of Basic Education learning. For which a descriptive investigation was developed with a qualitative approach, based on documental, hermeneutic and analytical-synthetic review methods. The hallazgos carried out allow us to state that the development of reading comprehension is important for the formation of citizens with “reason and coherence” in their interpretations; it is a capacity that emerges after reading a text; process in which meanings are constructed that involve mental operations such as attention, sequencing, logical processing and memory. In conclusion, if there is no good learning to decode and interpret the texts, good results cannot be expected in the learning of the other curricular areas.

In the Latin American regional context, a panorama of deficiencies and inequalities was glimpsed during the Covid-19 pandemic, where the violation of honor and human dignity for the deceased and his relatives was a latent threat. The present study aims to analyze this situation in the Ecuadorian context; for which a descriptive investigation was developed with a qualitative approach supported by the methods: documentary, hermeneutic and analytical-synthetic analysis. Among the main findings is the violation of the right to honor and human dignity of the deceased and their families due to the loss and confusion of dozens of corpses, which shows negligence on the part of the health authorities
