Resumen
This research is located in the environment of relationships between the family environment and the reading habit, focusing the attention on students of Primary Education and their families. Specifi cally, the aim was analysing how the economic, cultural, labour situation and the family involvement affect the reading habit of children. A quantitative, no experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive design was used in the research, in which information was collected in nine schools from Region de Murcia, taking into consideration a sample of 403 children. The results show higher reading habit in students whose parents have better economic status, superior academic level and greater involvement in the education of their children. Finally, some recommendations were displayed as actions that should be taken from the school perspective in order to try to solve the family, economic and cultural disadvantages of the starting point. These suggestions seek encouraging families to participate directly in the proposed activities by schools, narrowing the gap between the family and school.

Resumen
Information and Communication Technologies (ITC) have brought about major changes in countless areas, as they have allowed for the inclusion of technology in education and have created new labor methodologies. In this context, Mesurado et al. (2018) have developed the online program Hero, the first web application aimed at promoting prosocial behavior and socio-emotional variables among adolescents. Given that the Hero program is new, investigating its usability is of great interest. Thus, the aims of this article are 1). To study users’ perception of the effectiveness of each of the Hero program modules in the promotion of prosocial behavior, empathy, gratitude, forgiveness, and satisfaction; and 2). To analyze the users’ opinions on the general characteristics of the program by identifying which activities they liked best and those which they did not like. The sample included 158 adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 (M = 14.90; DE = 1.58, 54% women), from a middle socioeconomic status. The results indicate that there is an irregular but progressive growth in all variables promoted by the Hero program. Moreover, the program was highly acceptable to the adolescents who participated in the intervention.

Resumen
The analysis of the effects of education have traditionally focused on income (the monetary effects), whilst other non-monetary effects of education (such as those on the use of time), have received less attention. This paper analyses the effects of education on individuals’ use of their leisure time in Spain, using data from the Spanish Time Use Survey. It fi nds a close relation between education and the dedication of time to cultural activities, sports and reading books and the press. It also fi nds that a higher educational attainment does not automatically increase participation in all the leisure activities considered as benefi cial. The effects, according to an institutionalist perspective, will be derived from social environment and individual’s values.

Resumen
The central argument of this paper defends the view that the Iranian nuclear issue must be studied as a geopolitical phenomenon. Although the nuclear deal was welcomed by the international community, the arrival of the Trump administration caused a return to a dynamic of conflict and mistrust. Washington’s withdrawal from the nuclear deal marks the beginning of the “maximum pressure strategy” to weaken Tehran in specific theaters such as Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon, which includes a narrative of Islamophobia and Iranophobia in the transnational public sphere. From a historical perspective, this text examines some costs of sanctions for Iran, the unfeasibility of a military intervention during the first decade of the 21st century, and the strategic approach of Israel and Saudi Arabia during the Trump presidency, all in order to offer insights into the challenges facing the nuclear deal through spiraling cycles of tensions, sanctions, and negotiations
