Resumen
Between 1797 and 1800 in the Orphanage in Jaén, a notebook of foundlings was written, containing a full description of children and their clothing. Through these texts it is possible to notice some features of oral language, but what is most outstanding is lexical information. We will focus on the lexicon of clothing, which is often difficult to find in the most common lexicographical sources and in other kinds of documents. In addition, these texts can give us information about dialect variations in Jaén. Our main objective is twofold: overall, to publish unknown data archives and, in particular, to list the documented lexicon and contrast it with other lexicographical sources of the time. In short, this work intends to contribute to a better understanding of the Spanish lexicon, concretely of the technical area in question, the textile one.

Resumen
This study is dedicated to the representation of the former Latin F- in the medieval documentation from southern Ávila, in Spain. It is a very interesting area from a linguistic point of view, since we can find aspects of northern Castilian with characteristics of the southern varieties of Spanish. For our study we used a corpus composed of 75 original documents from the south of Ávila written throughout the fifteenth century. We analyze various examples of the use of h in replacements of f, both inside the word and, mainly, in the initial position. The data reveal that the phenomenon would be quite widespread in the region at the end of the Middle Ages.

Resumen
The present paper studies castilianization processes in Leonese scriptae from the monastery of San Pedro de Eslonza and it’s surroundings between 1241 and 1399 focussing on Romance writings for the respective sounds originating in lat. -li-. We will show, that the process is not only relatively abrupt, but also follows a lexical diffusion depending on the frequency of the lexemes in question. The graphemes <y, ll> are probably the most eyecatching characteristic of Leonese scriptae, their eventual substitution by Castilian graphemes of the type <j, i> therefore provides the researcher with an excellent basis for the investigation of the mentioned castilianization. The arrival of Castilian writing systems in the –then former– Kingdom of León marks the first step towards a Castilian (later Spanish) written language in what later on will be the Realm of the Kingdom of Spain.

Resumen
The present paper analyses the expression of non-abstract locative relations of inferiority based on the Burgos private notarial documentation from the Historical Corpus of Northern Castilian Spanish, with the aim of studying in depth the morphosyntax of the origins of the Castilian Spanish written in the primitive Castile between 10th and 13th centuries. The results of the study of Latin (sub, subtus, subter), hybrid (in fondon de) and romance constructions (so, sos, in fondón de) lead us to conclude that (i) the use of so is weakened with regard to the expression of the location of literal inferiority to give way to a proximity value ‘near, next to’, which is also acquired by sobre; (ii) the existence of a competition of so with fondón and (iii) the absence of relational constructions with deyuso.

Resumen
The consular policy of Mexico is a public policy of the state that responds to structural problems and opportunities in the relationship between Mexico and the United States, and which shows a strong continuity throughout recent governments. During the presidency of Peña Nieto, the consular policy responded to structural and sui generis problems related to the strong social and economic integration between the two countries, to the presence and specific challenges of the Mexican diaspora, and to the changing political conditions in the USA. Its general trend has been the gradual modernization of programs and services, and investment in the expansion of the consular network. Looking to the future, consular policy must continue to modernize and solve the challenge of limited resources.

Resumen
This article describes the human rights-oriented foreign policy deployed during the administration of Enrique Peña Nieto (2012-2018). To do this, it traces both the actions of the Mexican government that sought to influence external processes, and those aimed at containing international influences on the internal dynamics of the country. From an analytical perspective, the article explores trends of continuity or change and concludes that the period is characterized by both tensions and contradictions. On the one hand, activism in multilateral forums and the policy of opening up to international scrutiny have been maintained, while on the other hand there have been signs that suggest attempts to return to an approach based on sovereignty and non-intervention.

Resumen
This paper analyzes the foreign policy of President Enrique Peña Nieto in terms of security. It first reviews the foreign policy approaches of his administration and his attempt to “restore” Mexico’s leadership as an “emerging power,” as well as the emphasis on economic reforms and the intention to “de-nationalize” foreign policy. The article argues that there were three factors that ultimately caused the intention of de-securitizing foreign policy to fail and that, instead, led it to become an uninvited guest: the surge in the homicide rate from 2014, the crisis arising from the disappearance of students from the Ayotzinapa normal college, and the murder of a number of alleged criminals in Tlatlaya by the armed forces, as well as the arrival of Donald Trump to the presidency of the United States, which made security an important card to play in negotiating with that country. The text concludes that, even if the processes of securitization or desecuritization are rhetorical tropes used by state actors, in the end they must correspond with reality.

Resumen
At the beginning of his term, President Enrique Peña Nieto declared that foreign policy would be based on a principle of international cooperation for development (ICD). The objective of this article is to analyze the most salient institutional and factual characteristics of ICD as exercised during this administration, emphasizing the role of AMEXCID as the entity responsible for coordinating this activity. The article concludes that, in the respective national and international contexts -understood as structural factors of the ICD - which ranged from favorable to turbulent, the ICD of the 2012-2018 administration was characterized by encouraging progress, but also by a lack of robustness which made it difficult for it to become a foreign policy asset, in line with the expectations aroused.
