Resumen
The article reveals the objective existence of factors that show the process of emersion of a general substantive theory of design. It was clarified that this is not formulated, but that it is clarified of how it is going through the path of the construction of a general substantive theory of design. For which the following methods were used fundamentally: historical-logical method, documentary analysis and the survey from a knowledge management system. Resumen
This paper shows a model of a feedback system of a connector assembly line. The feedback is established as a control system, where the result of certain variables such as pending orders to be delivered, are introduced again to the model in order to improve its performance. The dynamic model was developed in the simulation platform of the VensimPle software, student version, with the system dynamics methodology. The main results are that the feedback loops established in the model allow the productive system, inventory levels and production flows of the stations to remain stable; this considering two scenarios: production capacity greater and less than demand. It was demonstrated, when the client's requirement exceeds the productive capacity, pending orders are generated, but the levels of inventories and productive flows remain stable.

Nowadays, effective safety and health management is required to guarantee safe conditions in work environments. Present research was conducted in a private SME Printing manufacturer. Its main objective is to analyze safety and health management systems effect over accidents in work environment. Resumen
Risk management plays an essential at the organizational level; its integrated management contributes to the process approach, to the best use of resources, minimizes costs, and it evidences a culture focused on the establishment of internal control. The paper depicts a risk management procedure builton the literature review and the application of cluster analysis to determine the stages and variables commonly used in precedent works, all that enriched with practical experience and approaches of specialists. It was obtained a risk management procedure, articulated to the legal framework, supported in a computer tool that promotes effective management and offers relevant information for decision making, as well as a questionnaire to evaluate the amount of risk management applied at the company. The usefulness and usability degree for users was measured using Iadov’s Method.

Resumen
The study examines the relationship between product innovation and organizational capabilities; then the development of new dynamic business capabilities allows assimilate, store and apply the assimilated knowledge, in the planning and execution of functions and processes. Indeed the technological capabilities, commercial capabilities and new capabilities are key to innovation, the development of new products and adaptation to market changes. The method used for the data collection was the questionnaire, for its analysis, a multiple linear regression model was adjusted. As a result, it was demonstrated that technological capacity and new capabilities have an important contribution in product innovation, which allows the stoppage of the accumulation of problems, and the achievement of key practices and routines that will benefit the company

Resumen
The new Cuban economic and social model presupposes a greater decentralization of economic and governmental functions and, therefore, greater attributions to local goverments. The quality of urban life is addressed as an objective of local governance in terms of achieving sustainable urban development. For its evaluation, a methodological procedure supported by the Urban Life Quality Index is proposed, which consists of four dimensions: social, economic, infrastructure and environmental services for the first-order cities in Cuba. This procedure was validated through its experimental application in the city of Cienfuegos as a case study representative of its kind in Cuba. The indicators that allow the evaluation of the quality of urban life in this city were also identified, as well as the weighting of the constituent factors and the specific weights of the indices applying the analytical hierarchical process.

Resumen
The research purpose was to design a procedure incorporated into the general methodological instrumental developed to manage the technology transfer process strategically in Ecuadorian manufacturing enterprises, specifically for small and mediums. The a forementioned allows the evaluation of new technological towards its inclusion into the technological heritage, embracing its three dimensions –technical-economic, social and environmental– as support for the associated decision-making processes with this critical business function. It is performed critical analysis of engineering and management methodologies and tools used in the assessment of technology investment projects in different contexts and scenarios, applied in SMEs Ecuadorian manufacturing, by following current legislation. As a result, an alternative solution is proposed combining the three dimensions of technology in a balanced way in a pertinent evaluation of technological options, associated with the strategic processes of technology transfer management.

Resumen
This work shows a design of a reverse logistics network for petroleum-contaminated plastics; which seeks to minimize costs and make it more financially attractive, for recycling. This cost decrement achieved stem from selecting the location of plastic processing facilities , and the reprocessing plants’number to install. It seeks to minimize transportation costs, and to maximize profits acquired from raw material sale, to benefit the different stakeholders. The model was able to select which reprocessing plants should be installed, while makes evident some shortcomings, regarding the determination of variables and possible future research. The model was worked with linear programming and solved with evolutionary algorithms, enabling the finding solutions in a Pareto’s front, which allows deducing the different combinatorial of the decision variables to apply in the logistics chain

Resumen
A knowledge management procedure was proposed for the improvement of perishable food supply chains. A documentary review, detailed observation and interview to the workers was carried out. Techniques such as: expert method, cause-effect diagram and statistical analysis were performed. The knowledge gaps of the fishermen in the fishing company were identified and the fisherman's knowledge map was constructed. It was detected that the chain under study has an: incipient maturity, which is an organization in the internalization stage, with a low probability of success. Measures are proposed to increase the degree of maturity of the most deteriorated knowledge dimensions.

Resumen
The management of information technologies plays a significant role in organizations, given the importance that is given to the business to each of the components that comprise it individually. However, the interrelation that exists between all edges has not been empirically tested, using statistical or mathematical methods that give foundation and credibility to this relationship. In the present investigation, a multivariate statistical technique was applied in order to verify the relationship between these components: the Structural Equation Models, specifically the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, an extremely useful procedure in the field of hypothesis testing and confirmation of theories. As a result, the empirical validation of all the interrelationships was obtained, the differentiation of the levels of interrelation between the different components and the identification of which elements of the evaluated ones have greater influence within each component.
