El estudio se orienta a conocer los fundamentos conceptuales, científicos y didácticos de la práctica docente en la enseñanza de la historia aborigen en Mérida. Metodológicamente se aplicó el estudio de casos, empleando la entrevista a docentes, como técnica de recolección de información, lo que reveló que los profesores tenían un enfoque eurocentrista y parcelado de los contenidos, por lo que se subestimaba la enseñanza de la cultura primigenia.

This article explores the conditions of medical studies in the Universidad Central de Venezuela in the year 1927 when the Rockefeller Foundation sent an official to study the conditions of the School of Medicine until the early 50s when the activities of the Corporation began to decline. It makes extensive use of sources of the Foundation as well as locals in order to achieve a comparative view of the subject in the course of this tumultuous period in the history of Venezuela, when an accelerated process of modernization began.

El propósito de la obra radica en explorar los diversos cuerpos de literatura de la gobernanza a través de la clarificación teórica que permite identificar los criterios heurísticos, nuevos significados del gobierno, agendas de investigación, proyectos normativos de cambio sociopolítico y descripciones de las teorías en proceso de consolidación, aspectos que contribuyen a argumentar que, en el fondo, los problemas centrales de las diferentes nociones de la gobernanza están relacionados con la cooperación, la auto-organización, la rendición de cuentas, la dirección efectiva de los gobiernos y la interdisciplinariedad.  

The rapid urban growth of contemporary Mexico, mostly organic rather than planned, is partially explained by internal migration that has mainly characterized the displacement of different population groups in our country during the last decades. The present work seeks, from “revisiting” the literature about social internal migration in a globalized world or in the process of globalization, to determine its consequences on urban growth, so that they are taken into account when thinking about growth of the urban and plan it. The article is particularized in the case of the municipality of Querétaro, as part of the metropolitan area integrated, in addition, by the municipalities of Corregidora, El Marqués and Huimilpan.As a main result, there is evidence that the increase in urban stain from periubanisation, or urbanization of previously rural areas on the periphery of the city, in order to accommodate production and housing activities to the new forces labor. The periubanisation is product of the internal migration, motivated by the search for employment; likewise, there is a lack of planning policies regarding these migrations and their consequences. The evaluation of urban passenger transport systems (TP) is vital to redefine the implementations, the guideline that rules these implementations is usually manifested in public policy; however, these have deficiencies due to the omission or little specification by the time of being implemented, which contributes to the iniquitous interpretation of the actors involved, additionally, there is no follow-up or evaluation of the results of the public policy. In this article we analyze the relationship between public policy and its compliance at the operational level of the TP for the urban area of Toluca, Mexico; compliance is quantified based on the satisfaction of the TP user.
