Resumen
The objective of this article is to analyze the process of information retrieval (IR) through the application of Linked Open Data (LOD). The methodology used in this work consists of two parts. In the first one, a literature review was carried out, supported by hermeneutics and discourse analysis to examine information resources that addressed the models, the structures, the case studies, the concept tests and the structural analysis of the implementation of linked open data in the information retrieval process. Successively, based on the analytical-synthetic method, an open-license data source was selected due to the fact that it allowed the data to be reused and processed in order to expose it to the information retrieval context, by structuring it in RDF and its respective query with SPARQL. The results obtained permit an approach to the methodological principles of linked open data processing and an analysis of the information acquired, which has an integrative and intuitive nature derived from the use of graphic representations that enables data query and access. The adaptation of LOD in information retrieval systems represents a paradigm shift related to the type of technology used in their structures. For example, moving from a syntactic conceptual model to a semantic one.

Resumen
The objective of this research is to identify the thematic categories of the messages on Twitter published by some of the diplomatic representatives of Mexico and the United States, in order to interpret the background of their agendas and speeches through their words and phrases. Through a descriptive method, which allows to identify the relevant properties, units and lexical compounds, a classificatory level of depth is implemented. The results show that those categories that stand out for their constant frequency are the pandemic, vaccines, diplomatic meetings and the international conflicts among Russia, Ukraine and the United States. Regarding the messages issued by Mexico, its interests, and political relations with the Latin American and Caribbean states, as well as foreign investments, are evident; while US diplomatic accounts continuously express disagreement about the border tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

Resumen
Currently, societies have information at his disposition like never before, as well never before there was such a need for open access to informational heritage of institutions to benefit informatively, educationally and scientifically. The aim of this research is to study why scholarly publications developed in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences of Public Higher Education Institutions are informational heritage, as well as to justify why these manifestations can be in open access. Methodology for this research is theoretical and levels of research are implemented: descriptive, classificatory, explanatory, and predictive in order to describe and conceptually analyze object of study and its functions to induce understanding of topic. This document is structured in following sections: first, a theoretical framework on heritage is presented to support conceptual proposal of informational heritage; second, theoretical elements of open access are studied; and third, content analysis and findings of study of open access regulations in Latin America are presented; finally, conclusions are presented. A general conclusion is that open access to informational heritage requires moving from being done with good intentions to being implemented with regulations, due to is a useful action that benefits societies by sharing information goods derived from science and culture to achieve global goals.

Resumen
This article provides an experience in the development and proof of a classification algorithm that automatically assigns a theme to a document. The Naïve Bayes Multinomial classification was used to automatically analyze the correlation between the themes of research in Life Sciences and Biomedicine, and the result of a corpus of 10 167 articles recuperated from the Web of Science (WoS). A proof of the performance of the algorithm was applied to 5 581 reviews for measuring its precision, exhaustivity and accuracy. The results show its usefulness in the organization of information respect to the automatic assignation of themes to the documents obtained in a digital repository or a bibliographic data base. The algorithm proposed can be utilized as an alternative to the traditional methods of classification of documents in a specific area of knowledge; this will allow the creation of specialized services oriented to the development of computational services that support the digital and electronic information management.

Resumen
Introduction: The quality of a scientific work of authorship can be by the proper terminological use, therefore, developing for the origin and meaning of the studies in the context of correct use. Objective: In this context, the objective of the article was to obtain a better terminological clarification of the concept “Ontology Spectrum”. Methodology: The methodological procedures included identifying the keywords, conducting research in scientific databases in search of collections, collecting scientific production containing the keywords and examining the publications to understand the contribution of each to the topic under analysis. Results: 353 documents were collected. Citations, authorship and definitions of the concept/ term were investigated, under the lens of the multidisciplinarity intrinsic to the theme. Conclusion: As the “Spectrum of Ontologies” was established in Computer Science (CS) with a view to analyzing the potentialities of the instruments of the Knowledge Organization, it was concluded that in the Library and Information Science, the term is equivalent to “Knowledge Organization System” and focuses on the quality of the content, while in the CS, the focus is on formal structure. Thus, the Ontology Spectrum explains the multidisciplinary aspects involved in the Information Retrieval process.

Resumen
The article studies discrimination as a phenomenon and a social practice that limits access to human rights and key resources (such as information), as well as being expressed in social inequality, especially in certain groups, such as people with disabilities. To do this, it comprehensively examines seven cases in the information units, specifically two libraries and five museums. The case study method allows us to approach the phenomenon and through the administrative file tool, the registration, reading, description, standardization, analysis, synthesis and presentation of information is carried out. As part of the results, the following stand out: the violation of the right to non-discrimination; the importance of the principle and right to accessibility and information; the repeated complaint of discrimination on the grounds of disability; in addition to the opportunities for institutional change and improvement in terms of training, communication and inclusive language, as well as accessibility and security for the user. Undoubtedly, the study makes visible the task -still pending- in terms of social inclusion and the need to design -in a context of human rights- spaces, services and collections focused on people as users of information units.

Resumen
Domains are fields of knowledge with a cognitive base, objectives, and users. They are found, as individual or social cognitive spaces. They are “there”, but to be identified and communicated they need to be made explicit. According with the librarian perspective, knowledge domains have been organized by subject through topics lists, thesauri, and classifications; however, in recent decades information technologies have provided new tools that are transforming the activity. Based on the above mentioned, the objective of this article is to analyze the scope of terminological ontologies in the subject organization of knowledge domains. The research methodology applied was analyticalqualitative and it was based on two study techniques: discourse hermeneutics and case analysis. It was found that terminological ontologies are knowledge organization systems characterized by conceptual, categorical, attributive, and relational elements that allow them to represent knowledge domains in a semantic way. It is concluded that they are systems with great advantages in subject domain management. They are machine-understandable databases which contribute to the terminological and conceptual clarification of topics, enable consensual understanding among experts, and can act as documentary languages.

Resumen
The objective of this work is to analyze the skills that the teachers and students of the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP) have developed since the confinement due to the health contingency by Covid 19. 130 students of that faculty, 10 teachers and 17 subjects taught during the period from March 2020 to June 2021, surveys were applied that inquire about the technological and didactic skills put into practice for 12 months. In the case of students, the economic situation and internet accessibility were also inquired about. It was concluded that both teachers and students have adapted to the online teaching-learning process and that although their digital skills are adequate, this is not enough to achieve the learning objectives.

Resumen
Digital information retrieval through artificial intelligence is currently one of the most promising applications for archives that collect large volumes of digital content. Pioneering experiences in this field have begun to be developed in digital sound archives. This research had a qualitative approach in that an analysis of recent scientific literature was carried out. In addition, five sound archives in the Americas, Asia and Europe were identified as pioneers in the use of intelligent systems for the automation of some of the documentary processes involved in sound preservation, and an interview was conducted. With this, it was possible to observe some of the first applications in this area. The objective of this work is to expose experiences of the use of artificial intelligence in digital sound archives, in order to show how its use begins to spread through the documentary processes that intervene in the life cycle through which digital objects transit.
