Resumen
Derived from the Federal Law of Access to Public Government Information (LFTAIPG) of 2002, formal mechanisms to promote access to public information and transparency formally began in Mexico. Since 2009, the international “Open Government” proposal aims to create even more open mechanisms for access to information and accountability through three foundations: transparency, collaboration and citizen participation. To this date, there are no concrete proposals on how to integrate libraries into collaborative efforts to foster citizen formation and transformation. This text integrates elements and approaches from socio-political disciplines to the principles and structures of libraries and archives to make an analysis and a summary of those elements that can be used in a comprehensive conceptualization of library and archival collections as well as their respective services under Open Government principles, so that such institutions can collaborate more proactively in the formation and participation of citizens, improving access to information.

Resumen
The present research examined the transdisciplinary process within librarianship and its reconstructions and implications for the librarian. To achieve these objectives, the hermeneutic method and the documentary research method were used. The texts were analyzed and interpreted to argue the proposals presented in this research. First of all, a brief review was made about the scientific development during different periods up to transdisciplinarity. It was determined that librarianship has two modes in which transdisciplinarity occurs. The first is through professional practice and the second is through the reconstruction of his own theoretical body where librarians can rethink their principles and adapt to changes in the environment. On the other hand, how the librarian can be a transdisciplinary professional was identified, therefore librarianship reconfigures himself to have a much more integral formation in society and as an individual. It is concluded that the transdisciplinarity implemented in librarianship and the work of its professionals develops over time.

Resumen
This paper aims to identify and analyze academic books production in Colombia between 2013 and 2019. For doing this takes as resource the ISBN database managed by the Colombian Book Chamber and selects the academic production properly within the general publishing universe and through the subjects. Thus, based on the information required by the book trade organization in Colombia and supplied by the publishers themselves, the proposed criteria will allow characterizing the production of books in the country. It is the first characterization of this type done in Colombia. It is remarkable that according to the used methodology, the group of academic books makes up 67% of the total recorded book production. The subjects in which more academic books are published are Sociology (15%), Economics (12%), and Law (10%). Regarding the origin of the publications, it should be recognized that university publishers play a fundamental role. The group of academic books is also analyzed to determine whether these are translations or not. This contribution is the pilot study to consolidate criteria for carrying out comparative studies about the production of academic books in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Resumen
This paper analyzes the phenomenon of information needs, from its emergence, behavior and satisfaction; integrating the features of the user 2.0. The subjects of the study are students of the administrative area of the Atlixco branch of the Complejo Regional Mixteca of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). Through the application of a questionnaire, it was found that the student community presents a sense of belonging in construction with the region of Atlixco; they prefer the face-to-face modality and perceive that their educational experience is of the same quality compared to the campus of the capital. On the other hand, their information needs are mainly focused on emotional health, professional development, travel and personal development. The predominant resources and sources of information are websites, social networks and videos. In addition, it was identified that this student community shows skills that correspond to the traits of 2.0 user; however, they do not report a complete satisfaction in their information needs; due to the partial application of the criteria of relevance, accuracy, currency, usefulness and organization during their information behavior.

Resumen
The objective of this article is to examine the metric properties of an instrument to evaluate self-perceived informational competence (CIA) by university students and, additionally, it seeks to expose the relationship of the latent variables that integrate the CIA from a model of structural equations (SEM). The research was approached from a quantitative methodology of instrumental design cut. The total sample was 2,189 university students from public and private centers in the state of Sonora, Mexico. The main results of the study indicate that there is a pertinent and consistent instrument. The various statistical tests and analyzes made it possible to identify and evaluate the suitability of the latent and observed variables that make up the proposed model.

Resumen
The objective of this article is to propose a model for the flux of scientific information in the areas of information in Brazil (Archival Science, Library Science, Information Sciences and Museology). It was conceived departing from quantitative data extracted from a random of 266 research projects in the data base of the Platform Lattes, which were developed between 2005 and 2019 for research doctors that act in the areas of information. This research considered 1 298 publications among resume works, conference articles, magazine articles, book chapters, books, dissertations, and doctoral thesis related with the research projects of the sample. Qualitative complementary research interviewed 59 researchers over their preferences for choosing a document for being published. The result is a model capable of representing: the use of informal and formal channels, with percentages of publication for each type of document studied, a line of time with an indication of when are typically published these documents and the reasons for publishing it in each considered vehicle. A graphic model resumes all this information. It is also evaluated the importance of the postgraduate program studies in the areas of information in the Brazilian research.

Resumen
For long-term digital preservation, entities require a coherent analysis of internal and external aspects that facilitate the constitution of a digital repository, with a solid structure and high maturity characteristics. The present research aims to design a maturity model for long-term digital preservation, which includes the maturity characteristics that a digital repository must have to preserve digital objects at its highest stage, the ISO 16363 audit standard and the most important principles of strategic planning. This model was validated by experts using the Delphi method and a case study on the SEDICI digital repository. The proposed maturity model focuses on a quantitative percentage assessment, its process, the description of its phases, three analysis perspectives and three strategic planning principles were integrated.

Resumen
This article has as objective, to characterize the scientific production of researchers from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) indexed in the databases as Science Citation Index Expanded, Emerging Sources Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index and Arts & Humanities Citation Index of the Web of Science, among the years 2010 and 2020. The analysis is to measure the production of articles based on unidimensional and multidimensional bibliometric indicators. The work retrieved a total of 2,343 publications distributed in 199 journals. The results show the evolution of production, research areas, journals, categories, language, authors, national and international collaboration, and ranking of the most cited works. It is concluded that the areas that produce the most scientific documents at the UAQ are engineering, technology, chemistry and physics, signed in coauthorship in national and international networking.

Resumen
Authors need of information about the editorial policies (EP) of journals to choose the one that best meets their needs. Aim: To characterize the trends in the EP in the open access (OA) journals cataloged in the area of Social Sciences (CCSS) and in the sub-area Communication in Scopus. Methods: This research was descriptive, cross-sectional, and supported by bibliometrics for analyzing 77 journals. Results: it was observed the predominance of journals published every six months, and that English is the language considered by 90% of the journals for publishing. Although the trend is to standardize the length of the articles, there are variations by gender, and it is measured in characters with spaces, words, and pages. Regarding the processing charge for OA, 55.8% do not require it. Conclusions: It is concluded that the EP of these OA journals in Scopus translates into offering possibilities of visibility to authors and reinforce collaborative research.
