Resumen
Since the decades of 1970 and 1980, with the introduction of the new models of industrial organization –electronics and information technology improvements, global markets with selective demand, flexible manufacturing and industrial democracy-, labor relationshipin industry begins a transformation process, in which the human factor reaches a new dimension. Human requirements and motivation are recognized and labor is empowered. Nevertheless, it is observed that in many situations this empowerment of the human factor continues treating people as “resources”. In this work, such circumstances are analyzed and the inclusion of an integral humanistic perspective is proposed.

Resumen
Argentina started to notice de arrival of globalization, when the concept of region had been discarded, or survived only in declarations that justified the creation of interprovincial bureaucracies. A time in which federalism was in crisis, localist impulses were arising andautarchy dreams were reflourishing. Therefore, in this country, the arrival of globalization, the failure of regionalism and the crisis of federalism were simultaneous phenomena. Once again, Argentina confronts the challenges of a changing world, without having solved its problems in the relation between the Nation and the provinces and the provinces among themselves, in the context of an agenda of national coexistence and institutional stability.

Miguens, José Enrique
Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina
Resumen
Jose Enrique Miguens considers, in the first place, the relationship between morals and economics, starting from the dissociation introduced between them by the Enlightenment. Then he goes through the historical changes in economics and ethics. In the second place, heanalyses the re-entry of morals into economics, proposing a dialogue with the rest of the human disciplines. Finally, he attempts to enumerate the elements that allow the introduction of moral considerations in economic analysis, taking new concepts into account. The article shows the need to lead economics to its true aims, putting the human person in the first place.

Grigoriu, Pablo
Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina
Resumen
In this article, Pablo Grigoriu, PhD candidate in Economics at our University, criticizes some key points of the neoclassical model in economics. Opposing the “homo economicus” of the neoclassical rationality to the “human being” of personalism, the author considers the place of moral values and the objective dimension of man in the traditional econometric schemes. After an epistemological rupture between Economics and culture in economic thought, economists have focused solely on the subjective dimension of the person, considering only the utility. However, there are factors such as the moral conviction that have an important role in economic decisions and are not adaptable to a conventional instrumental rationality.
