Resumen
This paper is a result of a larger study whose objective was to determine the relationshipbetween the admissions profiles of students admitted to the University of Guadalajara Center of Health and Sciences and their educational trajectories. This study focuses on the correspondence found between student admission profiles and the educational trajectories that culminate in school dropout. It takes as a basis a typology of educational trajectories that include the risk of dropping out of school. The data used comes from the University of Guadalajara Information and Management Integral System and references two distinct points in the educational trajectories of the study subjects. The results reveal the convenience of using archival data like students' school records as another resource to examine academic dropout.

Resumen
We analyzed the factors associated with the interest of students towards university careers in engineering and the training of engineers in Mexico. For this purpose, the article examined reports on science published by various agencies and governmental and non-governmental organizations in the international and national context, as well as the findings of studies related to the subject. The study shows that there are personal factors (gender, self-efficacy), family (support and education of parents) and social factors (teaching practices, relationships with peers) that favor interest in science in students. Likewise, difficulties were found in the training programs of engineers in the country. This work concludes that it is necessary to strengthen vocational guidance actions and the training of engineers in the country.

Resumen
The faculty´s research groups of Mexico have faced a number of challenges during their transition to consolidation. The objective of this review was to recognize the topics of interests in research about “cuerpos académicos” (CA) in Mexico from 2008 to 2018. Qualitative and quantitative papers are included. This review includes 36 studies published in SCOPUS, SCIELO, REDALYC, ELSEVIER, SAGE and others databases. The analyzed papers included the following variables: organizational climate, scientific productivity, teacher's imagination, tensions, motivations, ambiguity of roles, commitment, strengths, weaknesses, and integration, among others. It is concluded that there are still areas of opportunity for CA to consolidate, such as the development of teamwork skills and greater participation of those involved in the design of policies related to the work of CA.

Resumen
The purpose of this article is to show some results of the work in Heritage Education that is being developed by Brazil’s UPF Laboratory of Material Culture and Archeology, in which students and fellows conduct research together with specialists from the area. In this work, it is interesting to note the importance of research in relation to being able to open new alternatives for approaching archaeological work and its collections of local history. This study aimed to reduce possible limitations in terms of the multiplication of knowledge through the creation of an “icon library”, the digitation of artifacts, the work with 3D replicas, and the availability of such material for free on the web with the intention of expanding the field as historical agents.

Resumen
Over the centuries, universities have trained millions of professionals who have met the needs of the society in which they work. Many of these professionals have also decided to pass on their knowledge to the following generations, but this implies a triple work: to master their field of knowledge, communicate and contextualize them: teaching in this sense goes beyond didactics, which implies that to train future professionals, teachers must also be trained. This article shows how the profile of the university teacher is shaped and how professionals are trained for this work.

Resumen
Despite the fact that investment in technology has increased in Latin America, little is yet known about the integration of mobile devices in educational practices. The objective of this article is to analyse the access, perception of usefulness and frequency of use of the laptops provided free of charge by Plan Ceibal from Uruguay in the pre-professional practices of student teachers. A mixed method was used for the investigation, which includes a survey to 385 students and 15 in-depth interviews. Results show a limited pedagogical use of mobile devices as well as important challenges for emergent pedagogies. Most of the participants incorporate the mobile devices in traditional teaching approaches.

Resumen
This article deals with the topic of plagiarism in textbooks when referred to internet searches and the opinions of the authors. By analyzing the content of 16 Portuguese, Science, Geography and Mathematics books, according to the guidelines of Bardin (2011) and semi-structured interviews with five Brazilian authors, it was concluded: the lack of guidelines on plagiarism in the elementary school textbooks analyzed; the subject of plagiarism is not integrated with the guidelines of the National Textbook Program; and there is a displacement of responsibility for the mediation of these teachers’ guidelines.

Resumen
This study is linked to teacher evaluation. Its objective was to determine the factors that, according to teachers of basic education in the municipality of Osorno, affected the outcome of their teacher assessment 2015 and 2016. A written interview with open questions was applied to poorly evaluated teachers. Among the results, it was found that the operational way of dealing with the evaluation was individual, without the support of peers or consultants. They had little time for preparation. They assume an excess of confidence, reflected in the fact that they gave little importance to the process. They recognize feeling a deep disappointment, insecurity, accompanied by feelings of frustration, a mixture of emotions accentuated by the disloyalty with which their colleagues acted. They state that they did not receive support or understanding in the face of poor results, an attitude that, in theiropinion, constitutes the most negative emotional burden of this evaluation process.
