Resumen
This systematic literature review about deliberative citizenship aims to synthesize, in social management studies in Brazil, the application of the concept as portrayed by Habermas. The Periódicos Capes and Academic Google databases were searched using the descriptors “deliberative citizenship” and “social management.” Most of the articles were published in journals classified in the stratum Qualis Capes A2, and in Cadernos EBAPE.BR. The analysis of the methodological strategies employed reveals qualitative options, with seven papers characterized as theoretical essays and eleven papers as theoretical-empirical, by the application of the concept of deliberative citizenship in territories and councils. The theoretical-empirical results focus on challenges and opportunities and indicate that the process of Habermasian deliberative citizenship can constitute a social management strategy. The theoretical texts indicate that the construct deliberative citizenship provides elements related to the construction of the domain of social management.

Resumen
This study analyzes the tax morals of the Brazilian citizen, aiming to measure its level, as well as if there is a difference of the tax morals in the sociodemographic characteristics. Tax morale is an important determinant of compliance with tax legislation, so measuring it and evaluate each aspect that determines it allows to strategize and ensure better fiscal conformity. The research period was between May and August 2017, with 679 participants. The questionnaire adapted from the work of Torgler, Schaffner, and MacIntyre (2007), with multiple choice objective questions allowed the collection of data from individuals and was applied indirectly, electronically, validated by the use of the Cronbach’s alpha. The results showed in medium terms a neutral or partially contrary perception of the practice of tax evasion. As far as gender is concerned, the results indicate that women generally have higher tax morals than men. Regarding religion it has been demonstrated that spiritualists have higher tax morals compared to participants from other religions. As for education, the higher the formal education, the higher the tax moral. The results are relevant and meaningful, and help to better understand the challenge of tax compliance, as well as offer elements to insire future research on the subject, considering its theoretical and social relevance, and the fact that it is little studied in Brazil.

Resumen
The article discusses the concept of identity articulating elements of the critical perspective in social psychology, especially from the syntagm identity-metamorphosis-emancipation developed by Antonio Ciampa, as well as the concept of ‘identity politics.’ In parallel, the study reflects on the contributions of Norbert Elias connected to the conceptions of Ciampa. Entrepreneuship is understood as a fundamental structuring concept of identity, as a presupposed, idealized identity. The study does not takes a position contrary to entrepreneurship, but discusses the prevailing meanings that have been attributed to entrepreneurship, whose construction constitutes an ideological and mythicized identity politics.

Resumen
The interactions among multiple stakeholders have gained importance in the last decades, given the speed information spreads and connections established between individuals and groups. However, there is still a research gap, which is the lack of consolidation of the empirical studies that analyzed the phenomenon of stakeholder networks and their contribution to the advancement of the theory. This work aims to investigate the evolution of the stakeholder networks approach in the last 20 years, that is, to revisit Rowley’s theory (1997) and to bring a panorama of its evolution to the present day. This essay is based on two research scopes: Network Theories - society in networks and interoganizational networks and Theory of Stakeholders, integrated into the composition of Rowley’s proposal (1997) - Network Theory of Stakeholders Influences. From a sociometric analysis and systematic review of 228 articles collected from the Web of Science database between 1997 and 2017, it was possible to analyze the evolution of this approach. The study indicates that recent research shifts the focus of the relations with the stakeholders, centered in the organization, to those of a decentralized network with several actors. In addition, there is a trend of studies of networks formed by groups of stakeholders and the social identities of individuals members of these groups. This study contributes to the field by presenting an overview of the Network Theory of Stakeholder Influences analyzing reference networks, theoretical and empirical contributions, trends and research agenda for the theme, which will help in the development of future works.

Resumen
This article presents the results of research on the meaning of work for young managers of Brazilian public banks, guided by the social representation theory. This was a qualitative, descriptive-interpretative study. Semi-structured interviews and projective techniques of drawing and sentence completion were applied to 17 participants in the cities of Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro and Vitória. The process of objectification and anchoring carried out in the elaboration of the 37 social representations about the work grouped around the three dimensions: “provider and protective organization,” “demanding, threatening, and profit-oriented organization,” and “public organization.” The representations evidenced a strong association between work and money, along with the illusory and ambiguous character of the managerial position, source of pleasure and suffering. Results suggest applicability in reviewing people management practices such as managers’ involvement with workers’ physical and mental health, transparency, and clarity about the roles and expectations of work within banks. The findings suggest the need for tools that respect the professionals physical, mental, and psycho-affective limits, leading to sustainable results both for workers and organizations.

Resumen
The development of the productive forces appropriated by capital, combined with the context of changes on sociocultural relations that encompasses the spheres of production and consumption, has enabled the rise of the phenomenon of uberization of labor, a term derived from the way the company Uber is organized. This phenomenon is usually associated with the business of so-called sharing economy, and it opens the debate to the specificities of the structuring categories of capitalist accumulation that encompass online labor relations. This article lays the theoretical basis to advocate for the following argument: the uberization of labor represents a particular capitalist accumulation, by producing a new form of mediation of the subsumption of the worker, which takes on the responsibility for the main means of production in the productive activity. Based on the Marxian theoretical contribution, a critical analysis about the phenomenon of uberization is presented, which is intrinsically related to the innovative forms of management, while it also acts to intensify the work precariousness.

Resumen
This article critically discusses the relevance of brands in young undergraduate students’ choices when looking for internships and jobs. The research is based on the debate around the modern concepts of employer branding, consumption and lifestyle, and prosumption and co-creation. Interviews were conducted with 18 students at the end of an undergraduate program in business administration at a public university in the south of Brazil. The main results show that younger students become prosumers of their employer’s brands and their careers are based on seeking to work for the best brands, which is associated to intermittent jobs and vulnerable work relationships. However, the employers do not seem to offer enough elements to retain young workers.

Resumen
This article analyzes the multiple dimensions of street-level bureaucrats’ action in the implementation of public policies in the Brazilian context. The study aims to contribute to understand the subject with an expanded analytical approach. Bibliographic research was carried out in academic digital databases, identifying and selecting national and international works, according to methodologically defined criteria. The publications were analyzed and organized according to the following conceptual categories: discretion, structures, individual action, and relations. From the tension regarding rules and discretion in public administration, the analysis and interpretation of these works showed: a) the need to compare, separately and jointly, three different perspectives of street-level bureaucrats’ action (structural, individual action and relational perspectives); b) the need to understand the relationship of these perspectives in the implementation process itself. After the bibliographic review, hypotheses were formulated for an expanded analysis of the policy implementers’ action, suggesting lines for future research on the subject. This article contributes to the debate on the subject with an unprecedented theoretical construct that seeks to integrate the three different analytical perspectives presented in a dialectical synthesis of the central concepts of the literature on street-level bureaucrats’ implementation of public policies.

Resumen
The police constitute the main mechanism found by the modern state to guarantee the maintenance of law and order, with the prerogative of regulation of social relations through physical force as a legitimate and constitutive act. While the police represent the authority to intervene when necessary, they may violate citizens’ rights when making abusive use of force, especially lethal force. This article presents a descriptive analysis of reports on cases where police used lethal force in the State of São Paulo. The results indicate that, even in the face of a significant reduction in homicides, the use of deadly force by the police increased substantially during the 2000s, disproportionately affecting black people, particularly adolescents and young adults. The research concludes that the police have exceeded the use of deadly force and suggest strengthening the police’s internal control to address the problem.

Resumen
The purpose of this study is to reflect on how objects can be characterized as predicates of culture, considering that objects are fundamental nonhuman actors in the experiences of everyday life, connecting humans through their functions and symbolism. This discussion, still incipient in the Consumer Culture Theory (CCT), deserves attention from researchers since following the life of these objects means to understand their effects on individual and collective subjectivity. The theoretical assumption that supports the reflection presented in this article is the influence that the material world exerts on human life, as objects are determinant in daily life. Objects - tangible or intangible, such as material goods, brands, animals - have the capacity to act socially, are endowed with the power of induction and action, a property that does not belong only to humans (LAW, 2001). They also have a social life that can be built from their various uses and contexts, thus accumulating a cultural biography. This study adopts a qualitative-interpretative approach, and the methodology consistes of writing the biography of the brand ‘Apple’ and pointing out its agency. The discussion is based on the discursive analysis of the brand’s advertising pieces, through the theoretical approach of the Semiolinguistic Theory (ST) by French linguist Patrick Charaudeau.
