Artificial intelligence is an area that tries to equip the machines with intelligence and among the topics developed are expert systems, fuzzy logic, planning systems, search algorithms, evolutionary computation, artificial neural networks among others. The topics of artificial intelligence used in this article are artificial vision and artificial neural networks; also uses the microbot or mobile robot Mindstorms NXT, which has a limited capacity in the processing, as well as in the storage of information. The limitation of the mobile robot is because it does not have a powerful computer on board to process artificial vision algorithms and artificial neural networks; so an external computer is used to perform its control through bluetooth technology. The processing of artificial vision algorithms and artificial neural networks is done on the external computer and the actions performed by the mobile robot are sent to it, through bluetooth communication. The article considers that there is autonomy in a mobile robot, when it performs its actions without human intervention and the indicators selected to measure this autonomy are the autonomous localization of the patterns to be recognized and the autonomous recognition or classification of these patterns. The implementation of the autonomous localization of the patterns to be recognized uses optical sensors, ultrasonic sensors and the C # programming language; as well as the autonomous recognition of patterns uses a wireless camera located in the mobile robot, artificial vision algorithms, artificial neural networks and the visual basic .NET programming language. The results show that the average of the indicator percentage of patterns correctly located in the environment by the Mindstorms NXT mobile robot is 37.81% when artificial intelligence is not used and it is 97.18% when artificial intelligence is used. In addition, the average of the indicator percentage of patterns correctly recognized in the environment by the Mindstorms NXT mobile robot is 46.25% when artificial intelligence is not used and is 96.87% when using artificial intelligence.

The reduction of the organic matter content in toxic waste water from the seven laboratories at the Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva (General Chemistry and Inorganic, Phytochemistry, Soil Analysis, Biochemistry, Microscopy and Animal Health) through the solar photo-Fenton process was researched.  To optimize the process, the response surface methods were used, studying the dosing factors of H2O2 and Fe (II) on the variable, percentage of removal response of DQO (acronym in Spanish).  Before treatment, the waste water was characterized (DQO 10551 mgO2/L, DBO5 850 mgO2/L, total phenols 1740mg/L, nitrates 83250 mg/L, sulfates 104402 mg/L and pH 2.8); having concentrations which greatly surpassed the maximum allowable values. The concentration of Fe (II) was the significant variable for the removal of the DQO. With the optimization of the process, it was possible to remove a 95.3% of the DQO, 67.88% of the DBO5 (acronym in Spanish), 100% of the total phenols, 91.12% of the nitrates and 90.4% of the sulfates was achieved, reducing the concentration of the parameters to values of: 495 mgO2/L, 273 mgO2/L, 0.002mg/L, 7312 mg/L and 10031 mg/L, respectively, which come in under the maximum allowable values. An increase in the biodegradable index (DBO5/DQO) was achieved, having started with 0.08 difficult biodegradable organic matter content, reaching an optimal 0.57 partially biodegradable organic matter content.  With which, it is proven that the treated waste water is less toxic than the initial waste water.

This article reveals the pedagogical experience in the implementation of the Flipped Classroom methodology or inverted class in the academic formation of the second edition of the Master's program in Didactics that takes place at the University of Artemisa, Cuba. All this is based on the application of theoretical level methods that allowed systematizing the theoretical-methodological references about the Flipped Classroom. This implementation was developed in the course of Educational Research Methodology, particularly in the topic corresponding to the thesis as a type of scientific document, for which an audiovisual material was available that the candidates had to visualize independently, with the help of a guide of observation that was provided. The assessment of the impact on the teaching-learning process was carried out through a group interview in which all the applicants were able to openly express, before the group of aspirants and professors, their opinions and criteria in relation to the methodology used. A survey was also applied so that each student could evaluate their levels of satisfaction in this regard. Based on the responses to this survey, the medians of the different indicators explored through inferential statistics and the use of the Multidimensional Correlation Coefficient rpj were determined, as a logical procedure accepted by the Classical Test Theory to determine the degree of objectivity of the criteria issued. The results obtained show a tendency to high levels of satisfaction in the different aspects explored.
