The objective of the study was to verify if Resilience and Anxiety differ from the cultural context in children in situations of poverty and depression. Two secondary education institutions participated in two marginal zones of two cities of the Colombian Caribbean (Santa Marta and Cartagena). Sampling was intentional non-probabilistic, transverse. The sample consisted of 73 students, between 10 and 12 years of age (22 women and 51 men), all with symptoms of depression, 36 students from Santa Marta and 37 students from Cartagena. The distribution was 73% of high resilience, 25% of moderate resilience and 1.4% of low resilience. 47% were at risk of anxiety and 53% were not at risk. The Chi-square, weighted for Depression, with significance less than 0.05, verified the alternative hypothesis: Resilience and Anxiety differ from the cultural context in children in situations of poverty and depression.

Hare Krishna are a group of people voluntarily gathered with the intention of leading a pure life and awakening the love for spirituality as their main purpose of life. The aim of this research is to describe and interpret the lifestyle of the Hare Krishna community and their vision for health. The ethnographic research was conducted in the second quarter of 2016, through observation and interviews with community members, a direct intervention was carried out, sharing with the community their daily activities, their food and their spiritual beliefs. For members of the community to find Krishna consciousness was their destiny, Krishna comes into their lives to fill their being fully. Changing their way of life was for them an act of surrender to the spiritual life, a renunciation of the material world and everything that could represent harm to their lives. Members of the Hare Krishna community feel that their lifestyle reflects superiority or a higher level within society. They believe that the principles that govern them are those that God in creating life wanted all his children to follow.

The use that man has given to natural products is diverse, among them eradicating multiple infectious diseases; such as those caused, for example, by Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Staphylococcus aureus (resistant to antibiotics); that produce aggressive aggressiveness; especially in septicemia; for this reason, the World Health Organization proposes phytochemistry as an alternative in the search for antimicrobials (antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral); and it is in this sense that we raise the importance of the article in the area of ​​health by the multiple applications in the antimicrobial field, supported by the results of various bioassays; becoming an alternative for the investigation of new phytopharmacological compounds.

A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, which aimed to address the care of the family and the subject as an integral being, functioning within a family and social environment, applying the Nursing Process and the Self-care Theory of Orem1, providing care of support, guidance and information, carrying out actions and self-care activities, given that most of these are provided in the family by its members. The participants were 252 families residing in Barrios 20 de Julio, El Alivio, Granada and Camilo Torres of stratum 0, 1 and 2 of Montería. The results indicate the visibility of care in the family and the community, the recognition of the family as an agent for the prevention of the disease, the development of skills for the promotion of Orem self-care and the application of the Nursing process in the care of Family Health It is concluded that family health care allows individuals and families in the family to implement strategies to promote health and prevent disease, make decisions for their self-care, habits and healthy lifestyles.

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar clínica, serológica y anatomohistopatológicamente la presencia de Lawsonia intracellularis en nuestro país. En las muestras de suero de los animales evaluados mediante la prueba de IFI, se obtuvo una seroprevalencia del 38,7 % (73/197), encontrándose en la etapa de engorde el mayor porcentaje de animales afectados. El 8% de los animales presentaron cuadros de diarrea y pérdida de condición, sacrificándose a cuatro de ellos, observándose variables lesiones anatómicas ileales. Asimismo, en cortes histopatológicos de Ileon, se encontró lesiones compatibles con ileitis necrótica causada por Lawsonia intracellularis y para su confirmación se utilizó la técnica de Warthin Starry.

These work represents the continuation of our titled study "The gender violence in the legal systems of Civil Law (I) Latin America versus Europe: discriminations of coming and going", presented in the Fifth European Conference on Feminist Investigation, "Gender and Power in New the Europe" (Lund, Sweden, August of 2003), and in which we try to illustrate, through the analysis of the Peruvian legal system, how the violence against the woman contained in the Latin American legal systems is bigger than the violence that the legal systems of European countries produces. In this second part, we show how the globalization has supposed a reinforcement of the contained in the different legal systems gender violence.

The work’s aim is to determine wether hyperglicemia has a significative predictive value in the mortality of TEC patients. Fort it In this longitudinal prospective analitical study, we was chose 164 TEC patients. We asumed the value of hyperglicemia as > 160 mg/dL. It was found a mortality rate of 17.1%. From which 82,1% presented hyperglicemia, while among patients who survived only 1,4% presented hyperglicemia, the mortality is higher in patients who presented hyperglicemia, certifying a highly significative asociaton between these 2 variables. The average glicemia level in died patients was 173,4 mg/dL, while the ones who survived was 95,22 mg/dL, evidencing a very significative statistical difference betwen the average of blood glucose level and the mortality of TEC patients. In Conclusion the hiperglicemia, higher than 160 mg/dL is significantly associated to mortality of TEC patients with a positive predictive value of 0,92 anda negative predictive of 0,92.

The author's experience and their students are centered in the elaboration of 14 experiments related to the study of the electricity; their effects, applications and relationship with the magnetism, trying to learn investigating in the course of physics in way extra scholar. The greater adult is losing the use of some of his faculties. To certain people the oldness produces rejection to him because it is dealing with individuals that apparently hinder due to the difficulty in walking, hearing and to remember; in addition they are more ready to the diseases. If this happens in the cities, in the Andean zone the situation is more dramatic. The investigation consisted of interviewing greater adults of the Andean communities to expose its situation with the aim that the people in charge can act in benefit of those citizens. They live single or with their pair if they have her, the children have emigrated, the aid is enough due to the distance and the lack of suitable routes of communication, practically lack everything, the poverty is extreme, live in huts, their utensils are artisan old and covered with dust by the little use that they give them. They are fed basically on maize, barley and other cereals, almost nothing of proteins. The only medical aid that receives is of the Brigade of Health. By the few  bmedicines, they value the affection whereupon they are treated, the affection is what they more wish to receive. In its solitude they live on its memories. Most human than they wish is the respect of its resemblances reason why they try to participate in the communal actions to maintain their self-esteem.

The present work consists of proposing the formation of a Computer Security Incident Response Team in the National University of Engineering, which had to respond of effective and opportune way to determined incident of computer security of our university and some sectors of the society. Also, this denominated initiative CSIRT-UNI looks for to impel actively and to comprise of the Peruvian’s Coordination Center / Computer Emergency Response Team denominated PERUCERT/CC.
