scats from marine otter (Lontra felina) were collected in august and september 2008 along the species´ distribution at the Peruvian coast. mitochondrial Dna analysis from 24 individuals yielded the first registered sequences of this species, showing relatively high variability (11 haplotypes, h=0.86 and π=0.0117). adaptation of this species to a naturally fragmented habitat could explain why, despite the decreasing population number due to negative effects of human activity at the Peruvian coast in the last decades, the species remains with a relatively high variability. according to predictions of continuous decrease in population numbers and constantly increasing threats due to human activity, further studies deepening the knowledge about genetic structuring of the species´ population and the establishment of at least one protected area at the south of Peru, where regions with high number of individuals have been registered, are recommended.

irradiation technology replaces additives and chemical fumigants in the conservation and elimination of insects in food. These chemicals are very questionable to be highly toxic, harmful to health and the environment. We present research using gamma radiation in Peruvian asparagus (fresh asparagus, freeze-dried and flour). Doses of 1 kGy extend the half-life of fresh green asparagus for 20 days and of the control for only 10 days. The quality of freeze-dried asparagus irradiated to 3, 5 and 7 kGy was evaluated by microbiological, physicochemical and sensorial tests. a dose of 3 kGy improved the hygienic quality of freeze-dried asparagus. irradiation was evaluated as a quarantine treatment for the disinfestation of copitarsia decolora in asparagus. a dose of 0.10 kGy applied to the second instar of copitarsia decolora larvae was required to prevent adult emergence. Gamma radiation in Peruvian asparagus, extend half-life, improve the hygienic quality and as a quarantine treatment will be an alternative to methyl bromide fumigation, which affects the quality of the product, damages health and the environment.

The present investigation is the result of the study of the bioactive compounds present in the aguaymanto (Physalis peruviana) from the valley of Mantaro-Peru and its canned in syrup. In Stage I were determined the bioactive compounds in the raw material, correspondents to maturity‟s condition 2 and 3 as [1] was of 28,55 mg of ascorbic acid /100 g; 1,77 mg of β-caroten/100g; 79,23 mg clorogenic acid /100 g and antioxidant capacity its divides in hidrofílic (288,95 µg eq trolox/g) and lipofílic (297,51µg eq trolox/g), measured by the ABTS method and of 249,23 µg eq trolox/g measured by the method of the DPPH. In Stage II were decided the factors and its levels that influenced significantly (p<0,05) in the retention of the ascorbic acid in the process of production of aguaymanto canned in syrup using Taguchi´s method. The pH of the syrup and the temperature of the heat treatment turned out to be the factors of major influence in the retention of the ascorbic acid. The levels with which major quantity of ascorbic acid was retained were: wax-off time (90 s), wax-off temperature (80°C), pH of the Syrup (2,5), degrees Brix of the Syrup (30), wax-off concentration (0,05 %), temperature (95°C) and time (11,52 min) of the heat treatment. In Stage III was characterized physicist, chemically and microbiologically corresponding to the process of production of the aguaymanto canned in syrup realized with the parameters that maximized the retention of ascorbic acid (50,54%), determining in addition the effect of the technological treatment on the content of totally caroten (1,59 mg of •-caroteno/100g), Compounds Fenólicos (39,23 mg ác. Clorogénico/100 g) and antioxidant capacity (383,73 µg eq trolox/g and 132,12 µg eq trolox/g measured by the methods of the ABTS and DPPH respectively).

Araujia hortorum Fourn is a sudamerican perennial climbing plant that performs like an invasive in crops and natural reserve areas. There have been controversies about to consider it as independent specie or like an intraspecific entity dependent to A. sericifera Brot. (Araujia sericifera f. hortorum Malme). As a complement approach to define its situation, It has been compared some seeds samples coming from nine populations from Argentina‟s pampean region (A. cf. hortorum) and another from Misionera jungle (A. cf. sericifera). through use the method of polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE-SDS) and immnunoblot assay (IT, “immunoblotting”), it have been able to detect the presence of 19 and 18 protein bands respectively, although they are not coincident to each other. The use of the Jaccard Index shows values of similarity among 0.39-1.00 and 0.53-1.00, respectively. Differences should be attributed, partly, to the difficulty to determine the presence or absence of some of the bands of small intensity. The population from Misionera jungle showed smaller similarity with the pampeans that between each other. The results realized a considerable genetic uniformity among both putative entities that suggests the necessity to compare both additional populations in order to evaluate the consistency of these methods more objectively in their systematic characterization.

Recently, STR (Short Tandem Repeat) molecular markers have caused a revolution in the field of Population Genetics and Forensic Genetics due to its high index of probability in the identification of individuals, paternity and family relationships. Nevertheless, the problematic of the identification of human beings with DNA examinations in Peru is limited by the scanty investigation on the determination of allelic frequencies of Peruvian populations. Here we present the result of the genetic variability of microsatellites D7S820 and D16S539 in a population sample of 35 people from the province of Yungay, state of Ancash. The alleles reported here are 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 for the marker D7S820 and 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 for the marker D16S539; we found both markers are in genetic balance (Hardy and Weinberg) population sample. There is no significant difference of the allelic frequencies of the sample in study with regard to a population representative sample of Peru for these two markers. In the population analysis, sample from Yungay has more relation with samples from Asian origin; the results corroborate the Asian influence of Native American population.

The Urban Helmet of Paramonga, the west of the district of he himself name is located in the part. It has historical importance like agro-industrial center of the small north, that accelerating but disordering growth has been worth him; for that reason, the present investigation shapes the past, present and the proposal of urban ordering to the 2015. This is obtained through storing of existing data and the technically generated information, followed of the purification, digitations and digitalization of the new group, with the respective analysis of information of the theoretical and graphical type, for its later representation in a document. The joint, the basic services (water for human consumption, empty, electrical energy, and the harvesting, storing and treatment of solid remainders), population dynamics, the house, the health, the education, the municipal management, and the productive activities economic; they are the aspects that are contemplated. Of each one of them the present situation is determined, in order to zonificar the occupation of the urban physical space and to project the expectations, according to kindness that offers and the urgency of necessities by the effects that can carry. Thus, in a Plane of Proposals of Urban Development to the 2015, graphical the consolidation of the existing zones, the proposal of new green areas, of services, and of rating; according to the tendency of projected demand.

This article focuses on the study of a botanical specimen, that has been frcuently recovered in different archaeologic sites of the Peruvian coast north and central. Identified archaeobotanicly, it belongs to the Lauraceae family, gender Nectandra, kind yet unidentified, these seeds are own of forest areas wet  The origin and chronological location of the studied materials is Archaeologic Complex Huacas del Sol y la Luna located in the valley under of Moche, material associated with the late occupation Chimú (dated C14 1440 - 1665 a. C), In the present work have accomplished the analysis phytochemical and bioensays with extracts of these seeds, they were accomplished by specialists in pharmacology Currently its use continues being persistent, in coast and north saw (herbolarios, quacks), as well as between communities aguarunas of the north jungle. Its meant symbolic is framed in ritual aspects, as an element to offer in complex funeral ceremonies, of which have been able to glimpse recurrent contexts associated with possible child sacrifices - adolescent for the era Chimú. Being apparently that the pharmacological properties of these seeds were known and taken advantage from the pre-Hispanic era, such and as the references ethnohistorics already were outlining us.

During the last years in Perú the amount of textile contamination (dyes, surfactants, phenols among others) has increased due to the increase in export volumes.Adsorption is one of the methods most often used to minimize the grade of contamination in industrial effluents, and it has encouraged the development of abundant materials wich are low cost and so they could be used as adsorbents. For this work has been used peruvian bentonites, sodium (LI-01 and LI-03) and calcium (HU-01 and HU-02), modified by thermo-activation with HCl and H2SO4. These materials were tested in the adsorption of several dyes: Red 80, Rhodamine B, Acid Red G, methylene blue. A sample of thermo-activated LI-03 increased its power of adsorption thirteen times compared with the natural clays, on the other hand in the case of HU-01 increase was eleven times. The adsorption process is produced in pH range of 3 - 4 when electrolytes were added into dye solution.The best method found for the preparation of filters of adsorption from thermo-activated clays was the polymer sponge with thermic treatment in the range of 500 - 980ºC. Prepared filters adsorbed 100% of dyes: Rhodamine B and Methylene Blue. The adsorption got in low degree with Red dye 80 and Acid Red G.

The main objective of the investigation was to know the characteristics of the profile of resilience in the taken care of car of the feminine health of the urban, rural and peripheral population of Huanuco to determine the lineamientos of communitarian intervention. The type and investigation level was prospectivo cross-sectional analytical and explanatory. design corresponds to the nonexperimental one of qualitative type. This study it carried out in the District of Huánuco, Town Young the Moors and Center Populated Smaller with Low talent. The population was constituted by all the women of the taken part zones and she shows represented by fifty women of each one of them. Between the main results they indicate that as much the women of the zones urban, rural and peripheral they have certain characteristics that favor their individual development, familiar e including of its community; in spite of the situations unfavorable that they confront in his lives.
