In this work the main objective is to identify patterns of behavior of tourists caused by the use of the internet. The way in which the searches of certain words on the internet drive a response in the flow of domestic tourists that come to the state of Tlaxcala in Mexico is analyzed. The methodology used is a quantitative analysis of large-scale information on the Internet (Big Data), using a Time Series autoregressive vector (VAR) model. The main conclusion is that there is a differentiated impact according to the word that is searched on the Internet. The factor that attracts tourism is the availability of rooms, while for the case of visits is the existence of sighting.

Resumen
The use of tourism as a local development strategy leads to the creation of projects and programs that, by building on the territory and population capacities, boosts the integration of the localities into market processes, creating wealth that will bring about improvement for the population without affecting their natural and cultural heritage. The Magical Towns of Mexico Program (Programa de Pueblos Mágicos de Mexico, PPM) is successful because of its territorial coverage and its results, although it has also caused negative impacts. Seven localities in Jalisco have the cultural and natural attributes and have created the touristic project necessary to obtain the distinction of Pueblo Mágico. This paper presents a proposal for the evaluation of indicators through the analysis of demographic, economic and touristic information and through observational visits to the localities: the sociodemographic indicators are presented through population growth and the conditions of human development; the economic ones through the composition of enterprises and the number of theirs employees; and the touristic ones through an evaluation of supply (accommodations) and demand (overnight visitors and day guests). This analysis allows to understand the situation of each locality and to identify the impact the PPM has on society.

Resumen
This article analyzes the factors that are associated with community participation in the processes of alternative tourism development. As a starting point, we analyze the concept of participation and its typologies based on the characteristics of tourism activities in indigenous communities in order to arrive to a model of community participation in tourism. Four case studies are then presented in the context of indigenous communities in Mexico. We begin with the premise that there is a set of common factors that enable a wide and significant participation of community members in tourism enterprises and thereby resulting in greater direct and indirect benefits. The analysis brings to light the diversity of participation pathways, the existence of inclusion and exclusion processes when profiting from the benefits of these ventures as well as the importance of the formation of external networks for the development of specific projects.

Resumen
This article aims to evaluate the current conditions of the Mexicali Valley, Baja California, Mexico, which can serve as support for the development of a rural tourism that generates greater regional economic development. For this, an explanation is made of the conditions necessary for the practice of rural tourism. Through interviews with tourist servers and a focus group session, with experts in the region, information on trade, sustainability and tourism practice in the area was obtained. The results of these inquiries yield answers that guide the definition of the Mexicali Valley as a region with physiographic potential, ethnic culture and close links with rural activities to develop rural tourism based on the proposal of four tourist routes. Finally, the relevant implications for management and future research are presented.

Resumen
The assessment of sustainable tourism development must incorporate the views of the destination’s residents. The research objective is to study the perceptions of tourism development in Copper Canyon, according to the opinions of hosts, in order to assess the satisfaction and perceived sustainability regarding the territorial tourism model implemented. A qualitative and applied research is developed, by means of a deductive explanatory approach with purposeful character. The assessment the local community’s perception was carried out by a pilot study and the application of surveys. It concludes with the identification of incompatibilities, which reflect lack of convergence between the perceptions of the local community, and the receiving environment. It will be necessary to develop strategies to ensure the convergence of interests and expectations.
Keywords: Tourism, community, sustainability, planning, Copper Canyon.

Resumen
Sport mega-events significantly change the social, political, economic, environmental and urbanistic reality of their host cities. The analysis of mega-events impacts for the country or the host city can focus on objective impacts or on perceptions of residents in host communities. This paper analyzes the impacts 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil in both methodological perspectives. The evaluation of the objective impacts was conducted through extensive literature and documental review, while the evaluation of the subjective impact used primary information collected through 3770 interviews with residents of the twelve host cities of the event. Data were analyzed through structural equation models to examine the structural relationship between the perceived impact and popular support for the event. The results show that perceptions of both positive and negative impacts are significant determinants of the support for the hosting of megaevents.

Introduction. In recent decades, several studies provide scientific evidence on the benefits of preventive family intervention in early childhood. However, in the Spanish context there is a shortage of interventions aimed at this population that have shown their effectiveness. In carrying out a pilot intervention for the universal family program Aprender a Convivir en Casa (ACC) with a Spanish population, the objective of this study was to ascertain its effectiveness in developing social competence and in reducing behavioral problems in preschoolers. Method. The sample involved 18 parents, all with children in early childhood education aged from 3 to 5 years old (Mage = 4.48 years, SDage = 0.50) from a school in Granada (Spain). 9 were placed in the experimental group and 9 in the control group. Participants were allocated to groups by accidental and non-probability sampling. The children in the experimental group were assigned to this group if their parents had attended more than 80% of the program sessions. Results. The results indicate both a main effect of the time variable (pre-test and post-test) and interaction effects between time x group variables (control and experimental) in the variables of social cooperation, social interaction and for social competence as a whole, with the experimental group obtaining higher scores in the post-test phase. With regard to behavior problems, the results show main and interaction effects in attention problems and in externalizing behavior problems. In the other variables analyzed, no significant main or interaction effects were found. Discussion and Conclusions. Intervention with families is an important protective factor in the prevention of behavioral problems. The results observed after the pilot implementation of the ACC program are promising, in that they show the promotion of social competence and the reduction of some behavioral problems in children from the participating families. However, there are some limitations in the study that need to be taken into consideration.
