In recent decades, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of active fatherhood in the integral development of children and in gender inequality. Despite the extensive discussion and implementation of some strategies, there is a low participation in parenting and care of parents. For this reason, the present essay has the purpose of critically reflecting on the care of children from gender inequality, prevailing masculinity and strategies for the promotion of active parenthood. This paper reflects on active fatherhood from the perspective of an adult-centric society and its influence on the incorporation of values, attitudes and behaviors during childhood. In addition, it analyzes the construction of child care in the private sphere, a task that is undervalued by the community and that falls mainly on women with the consequences of gender inequity and health problems that it entails. Finally, the efforts made in Chile in the implementation for the promotion of active fatherhood and the pending challenges are visualized. To move towards active fatherhood requires a greater intervention with families and different sectors of society, implementing strategies from a gender equity perspective regarding the distribution of child care.

The objective of this articlewas identify and characterize the instruments used in occupational health internationally, with the purpose of collecting relevant information regarding dimensions according to the characteristics of the results obtained.  An integrative revision of available scientific literatura was performed including 6 databases, as a means to identify the assessment instruments used in occupational health during the period 2012 – 2017. From the above, 61 instruments used in occupational health research were obtained, from the triangulation of which 5 dimensions were reached: psychosocial – working conditions and capability – risk factors and disease detection – self-esteem, empowerment, motivation – quality of life. Due to the great number of instruments found, the contribution of this article is the compilation, characterization and grouping of the information into dimensions according to characteristics and subjects of study, in such a way as to offer guidance to the professional nurse aiming to carry out research on this particular matter. Great challenges in this field are both to stimulate the curiosity towards research with a higher ambition for scientific evidence, and the research regarding workers on a day-to-day basis as, without a shred of doubt it is thus that we can make our work visible to society.

This paper aims to show the significant role that Advanced Practice Nursing (APS) can play in the strengthening of Primary Health Care (PHC), and what is the situation of this phenomenon in Latin American countries. The evidence shows that the EPAs in the APS, provide high quality and cost-effective care for the health systems of the countries, there are even results with patients that are comparable or better than the medical counterparts. It is known that PAHO/WHO is currently establishing a work plan to support the expansion and professionalization of the EPA, prioritizing the preparation and professionalization of nurses so that they are prepared to effectively promote and implement Universal Health Coverage.

Abstract:The research aims to characterize the roles that the teacher can assume during the management of modeling activity with ninth grade students (14-15 years). The starting point is the taxonomy on the roles of the teacher during a modeling activity proposed in the literature. Then, we will analyze, through a single case study, the transcripts of the debates originated between the students and the teacher. We will identify their trigger, the objective, the type of intervention and the moment in which they occur. This analysis is the key to identify new roles that highlight the importance of the communication of resolutions and their subsequent debate in the validation phase of the modeling process.Key words: modelling; secondary education; classroom management; interactions; role of the teacher.

Urban art (UA) is a contemporary art form which was developed in cities. While UA growth in certain cities has been faster, the progression of UA in most cities has faced opposition. The described project explores the current context of the progression of UA in Madrid. Furthermore, the research gives reason to UA’s capability as a tourism tool in Madrid, and identifies the stakeholders related to UA who should benefit. Project is carried out using qualitative methodology through an exploratory approach and is completed with the use of more primary source data. Observations, short questionnaires and interviews are the main instruments used in gathering the primary source data, while document analysis is used to process additional secondary source data. The results show that Madrid is full of different types of UA, and UA can be further developed as a tourism tool in the city. The urban artists are creating their own UA pieces both legally and illegally while facing obstacles, even though impediments have reduced. However, the Investigation concludes that Madrid’s UA can be further developed through strong support from local policy makers by giving the direct benefits of this development to local UA stakeholders.

Festival tourism has been growing considerably over the years, acquiring a prominent position and with strong popularity in society. Festivals and/or events promote a cultural exchange at international, national and local levels, with the opportunity for cultural sharing, from history and tradition, culinary and drinks, music and dance, involving all publics (organization, services, artists, participants and local inhabitants). Festivals are recognized as an effective strategy for host destinations promoting economic, social and cultural development. The present study aims to test the mediator role of quality and satisfaction in the relationship between the motivation in the choice of performing arts festivals and the loyalty of the tourists. The sample consisted of 532 respondents, collected at two performing arts festivals: Andanças festival (Portugal) and La Sierra festival (Spain). The results of the study show that tourists motivated to attend performing arts festivals, tend to perceive the festival as having quality, and are satisfied with the service, which in turn tend to revisit and recommend the festival. The study discusses the implications of the obtained results. It also presents limitations and suggests future studies.

Technology moves with a rapid pace and it has touched every aspect of the hospitality industry. Nowadays, this huge industry is facing significant technological changes especially in the hotel sector. With the continuing growth of modern technologies in hotel management (e.g. SaaS, PMS, CRM, smart devices, Internet of things), and other aspects of industry 4.0, readiness of sector representatives to adopt such new technological advancements appears as a worthy research topic. This research aimed to identify the adoption of SaaS (Software as a Service) technology in small and medium-sized hotels in Tirana, Albania and measure hotel owners/managers’ willingness to implement this technology in their properties. As part of the data collection process, a structured interview was conducted with 75 hotel owners and managers. Results show that SaaS technology implementation is very limited in the sampled hotels. Majority of the sampled hotels extensively rely on traditional property management systems. Nevertheless, other findings of the study show that hotel managements demonstrate high willingness to implement SaaS system in their hotel management. This willingness was found to be more prevalent among newly hired, more educated, younger managers as compared to older age hotel owners. A number of implications are discussed for local authorities, SaaS marketers and hotel managements to implement SaaS system in small and medium-sized hotels in Tirana.
