Resumen
This article describes the experience of students from a Senegalese elementary school within the framework of a research study on learning tools adapted to large groups. To this effect, project-based learning tools, launched and implemented for over 30 years by Annie Couëdel at Paris University 8, was transposed in this institution to address major academic concerns in sub-Saharan African countries in general and Senegal in particular. This entails addressing the constantly growing effects of the difficulties of learning French as a second language and adapting teaching content to the realities of everyday life. For this purpose, the relevance of our tool as the solution to this difficult issue among large groups has been proposed and shown, as its efficiency has been proven by proposing not only an active learning method but also a process that adds value to national languages. Finally, this study has provided answers for the interaction between the inside and the outside, as our tool incorporates learning as well as social, cultural, political and economic needs. This has been implemented for six months with students in accordance with the tool’s principles and achieved the implementation of projects that have led to an actual transformation of attitudes from students, teachers and their environment to a certain extent at many levels.

Resumen
This article studies the agreements made by the main characters in the movie In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar-Wai in favour tities (who have a secret love affair), based on semiotic methods and theories. After the catastrophic events of the film, the agreements try to understand the origin of infidelity. In other words, the leading characters undertake a narrative programme with a semiosic objective, and to that end, they pretend to be and act like their unfaithful spouses. The figurative, narrative and axiological analysis that arises from the Paris School of Semiotics method explains how the objectives of the contractual relationship are better achieved for what they feel rather than by what the others are and do. It can therefore be concluded that, first, the identity interpretation of the alter gives rise to the identity understanding of the ego. Second, concealing infidelity takes the form of a way out of negative social sanctions.

Resumen
This article presents some results of the research, entitled ‘Scientific writing of Colombian university professors’. This research aimed to analyse institutional, academic and individual factors as possible variables that—when writing scientific articles for their research—makes the tasks of university professors more difficult. To achieve the stated objective, this study uses a qualitative methodology. The participating population comprised 15 professors from Colombian universities. Three instruments were used to obtain the data: the questionnaire, interview and the LDE format (linguistic, discursive and structural). The data show that factors such as institutional prestige, salary, institutional resources and time are variables that affect the writer’s motivation. Similarly, implicit theories or conceptions of teachers.

Resumen
This article is the result of a theoretical-practical study of traditional correction techniques. It is supported by the qualitative analysis of the correction process of two texts that were written by two students aged 9 and 12, respectively, in a public elementary school in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The data analysed and results obtained are representative and valuable for language pedagogy and theoretical linguistics. On one hand, the qualitative analysis allows us to propose a set of criteria in which students can be taught how to improve their writing. On the other hand, the analysis of correction techniques also allows us to account for the aspects that are part of evaluating a text: spelling, punctuation, syntax, connectivity between sentences, global coherence, even relevance and creativity. It is of special interest that the traditional correction criteria contribute to what an evaluation is and how it is conducted, not only for language pedagogy but also for theoretical linguistics.

Resumen
The aim of this article is to characterise the connection function of a group of secondary students on the basis of a set of connectors utilised in a re-narration assignment. The sample was formed by 15 third and fourth grade Chilean secondary school students attending the daytime schedule at a subsidised school in the municipality of Florida, Biobío region. The results revealed that stories, in most cases, had starting and closing textual markers, had a limited set of connectors and had an excessive use of the ‘and’ connector. This allows us to conclude that the development of oral narrative competence still requires explicit, systematic and progressive designs, allowing school students to expand their active repertoire of connectors in the narrative context.

En número ofrece a nuestros lectores siete artículos organizados en cuatro secciones; la primera de ellas, presenta resultados de investigación relacionados con la presencia de la literacidad como fenómeno cultural en la formación de lectores, el análisis argumental y discursivo desde la asamblea estudiantil universitaria, el fenómeno intercultural plurilingüe y bilingüe en el contexto educativo de una comunidad española, y el lugar de la argumentación oral en la política pública del área de lenguaje en Colombia. En la sección Pedagogías de la lengua, los investigadores invitan a resignificar curricularmen el lugar de la argumentación oral en la política educativa colombiana para el área de lenguaje.El número cierra con los aportes de investigación respecto al desarrollo de las competencias digitales al servicio de la escritura académica y nuestro autor invitado, el Dr. Fabio Jurado Valencia.

Resumen
El estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar cuáles son los principales instrumentos de controladoría utilizados en las organizaciones, así como también las actividades, competencias y formación necesaria para ser un Controller en la Región Nordeste de Brasil. Se aplicó un cuestionario dividido en cuestiones subjetivas dirigidas a la formación del Controller y cuestiones objetivas dirigidas al uso de los instrumentos de controladoría, y contó con la disponibilidad de seis profesionales. Se verificó que las principales funciones del Controller son las de coordinar y planificar actividades de las áreas contable, gerencial, control de activos, costos y tributaria, involucrando a otros sectores que dependen de la organización, como recursos humanos, financiero, departamento personal y cobro. A su vez, se observó que a partir de la necesidad de la organización esas funciones pueden ser alteradas. Además, sus competencias y habilidades necesitan ser perfeccionadas con constancia y deben ser profesionales innovadores y dinámicos, con visión de futuro relacionada al mercado y el foco puesto en una gestión eficaz.

Resumen
La investigación tiene por objetivo verificar cuáles son los procesos de benchmarking utilizados en las empresas de construcción civil del municipio de João Pessoa-PB. Se utilizó la metodología de encuesta a través de Survey, con un acercamiento de carácter cuantitativo, con procedimientos descriptivo-exploratorios. Se aplicó un cuestionario virtual mediante Google Docs en afiliadas al Sindicato de la Construcción Civil en Paraíba, estructurado en seis partes, sobre la base del modelo de Camp (1998), siguiendo los pasos del proceso de benchmarking. Como tratamiento de las variables se empleó estadística descriptiva identificando y analizando las frecuencias para su tabulación en planillas de Microsoft Excel. Los resultados probaron que en gran parte se utilizan los métodos enumerados de benchmarking, lo que demuestra la preocupación de las empresas en cuestiones como la calidad y la satisfacción de los clientes, estableciendo metas, corrigiendo errores encontrados en los procesos, creando estrategias competitivas. Sin embargo, aún no se implementan algunas medidas importantes, o se utilizan poco, demostrando cierta dificultad en aceptar y desarrollar acciones vinculadas con buenas prácticas de gestión.

Resumen
The Stock Exchange (SE) is an institution that allows companies in general to obtain fresh resources to finance their activities. The financing mechanisms provided by the SE are the least used by the organizations in Ecuador. In this paper, it is analyzed the participation of companies located in Cuenca (the third city of Ecuador) in the stock market as well as the effects of the financing mechanisms on their financial statements. The financial statements were obtained from the website of the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance through its Document Portal. Results show that the participation of companies from Cuenca in this market is very limited, though the use of these mechanisms is extremely positive in financial terms.

Resumen
The article aims to describe the process of budgeting in a financial institution in Pernambuco. The budget can be considered an essential instrument in the financial planning of an organization. However, this instrument needs to be aligned with institutional objectives, supporting managers in decision-making. To carry out the research, the case study was used as a method, with data collection through interview and documentary analysis. The results obtained revealed the participation of the functional staff, in the planning stage, as well as the hierarchical form of monitoring and control of the budget. It can still be perceived that some characteristics of the budgetary practices adopted by the Financial Institution (in elaboration, execution and control) are in agreement with those found in the literature, such as the alignment to the strategic plan and the comparison of the real values with the budget values for control.
