In the metropolitan area of Guadalajara (ZMG), youth cultures seek to appropriate public spaces in which to recreate their elements of collective identity in an exercise of inclusion and manifestation of social diversity, premises of a full social and cultural citizenship. However, in the social and community sphere, police repression and incomprehension of large sectors of the population suffer. In the present work we review the case of three youth cultures that inhabit the city: cholos, rastas and skatos.

Adult Costa Ricans have a perception regarding a link between video games and violence (e.g., in the form of mass shootings). The author collected the opinion of 111 individuals through the distribution of an online questionnaire. A good 37 % of the cohort responded that this form of digital entertainment does cause mass shootings; moreover, 51 % of the subjects agreed that video games motivate a violent conduct in people, specifically children and teenagers. In other words, the answers show that the studied population generally have a negative perception regarding the use of video games by young individuals; however, people are not inclined to blame video games for acts of violence such as mass shootings

The purpose of these reflections is to perform an analysis of the role of the body in our current time, under the assumption that the body is resignified approach the issue from the technological perspective, what implications has the virtualization to which all the contemporary technological apparatus tends in corporeity? The relevance of approaching the subject from a technological approach is that it is precisely this aspect that mediates between the (human) body and the world. Nowadays this issue has become relevant because intuitively we could think that technology not only conflicts with the body but annuls it, the purpose of these lines is to combat this notion of the technical as alien to the human. To fully understand these approaches we will help three philosophers who problematized the technique, namely, Günther Anders, Paul Virilio and Don Ihde.

In Guatemala, the decade of the eighties was characterized by an increase in violence instituted after the implementation of the counterinsurgency strategy of military regimes. Before this, thousands of Guatemalans sought protection in other nations, the neighborhood with Mexico facilitated their movement in the territory, some with the intention of asyluming others to take refuge. However, there were those who entered clandestinely because their militancy in revolutionary organizations forced them to do so, so their mobility was defined by the dissolution of a constitutive identity within an institutional framework. The work that I present approaches the experience of some militants of the Guatemalan Labor Party-Communist Party (PGT-PC), who were forced to leave their native country as a consequence of the repression and systematic persecution directed to their organization. From the interviews that I did, I will expose the vicissitudes of his arrival in Mexico, the relations that he established in the country and the abandonment of his political project.

This work will analyze the conflict in Costa Rica, through two axes of international politics; the first will be the position of Mexico against the Central American country through the reports issued by the Mexican Embassy in that country. The second will be evidence of the intervention of the United States in said conflict, through the reports issued by the Central Agency of Investigation (CIA). This will help to rethink the position of the "Cold War early", it was since 1948 that much of the continent felt the onslaught of this bipolar conflict, as was the case of Costa Rica, Colombia, with the so-called Bogotazo and Venezuela with the overthrow of Rómulo Gallegos. With this idea we will reflect on that historiography that considers the case of Guatemala in 1954 as the first trial of the Cold War.

The separation of Mexico from the United Provinces of Central America in July 1823, after the fall of the First Empire, created the basis for a conflictive relationship between Mexico and Guatemala. The annexation of Chiapas and Soconusco to the Mexican Republic and the subsequent disagreements in the layout of the border, after the independence of Guatemala from the Central American Federation in 1839, tensed bilateral relations until the signing of theHerrera-Mariscal Treaty in 1882, although the problem would not be definitively solved until the conclusion of the works of delimitation in 1897.
