AbstractThe art of the Predynastic period has been studied and understood as a cultural manifestation of the Neolithic cultures preceeding to the unification of Egypt and the beginning of the 1st dynasty. However, the investigations and excavations carried out in recent years have showed that Pharaonic art had some of its origin in this period. In this article we will analyse the evolution of art and its intentionality throughout this period, while we will be studying the artistic manifestations from the perspective of cultural anthropology, looking for new ways of asking a work of art to understand it in its cultural and social context.

AbstractThe urban view in an illusionist perspective is an iconographic motif from the visual culture of the Italian Renaissance, at which time it was used both in theatre and in painting. This article studies the influence and survival of this iconography in Western painting and highlights, in particular, cases of meta-scenographies. A reflection is raised on the uses of this motif, especially its use as a meta-artistic resource, its variants, as well as its temporality. From there, some examples of 20th century artistic avant-gardes where this iconography reappears are analyzed, either confirming the survival of the Euclidean vision or acquiring the meaning of painted meta-scenographies.

AbstractIn this essay the author proposes an overall reconsideration of Albrecht Dürer’s relationship with Vitruvius’ De Architectura, paying constant attention to the surviving sources. Furthermore, the author also investigates an overlooked aspect of this relationship that concerns the significant reception of Dürer’s treatises among Vitruvius’ translators and commentators between the XVIth and the XVIIth centuries.

The objective of this study is to translate and culturally adapt to European Portuguese “EBP Beliefs Scale for Educators” (EBPB-E), “EBP Implementation Scale for Educators” (EBPI-E) and “Organizational Culture & Readiness for School-wide Integration of Evidence-based Practice Survey ”for Educators (OCRSIEP-E); and to provide preliminary validation data. The study was carried out in two phases: translation and transcultural adaptation; and preliminary validation in nursing educators of nine nursing schools in Portugal. Pre-final versions of the instruments were considered easy to understand. But, the participants suggested including the possibility of "I don't know" response and increasing the recall period in the EBPI-E. 68 educators participated in phase II. The α for EBPB-E, EBPI-E and OCRSIEP-E was 0.88, 0.95 and 0.94 and the corrected element-total correlations between the items and the total score ranged from 0.20 to 0.75, 0.59 to 0.84 and -0.06 to 0.78, respectively. Preliminary findings showed a strong internal consistency. It is concluded that other validation studies with more robust samples are needed to prove the reliability and validity of the instruments.

Resumen
The objective of this study was to analyze the best available scientific evidence related to conservative medical intervention compared to the most invasive intervention including surgery for the treatment of varicose veins in the lower limbs during pregnancy and the prevention of subsequent onset. It started with The rapid evidence evaluation methodology was applied. A search of literature in the databases was carried out, with no date limit. Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women with varicose pathology in lower limbs of any age. The types of studies analyzed were Systematic Reviews, RCTs, Meta-analysis or Clinical Practice Guidelines in English, Portuguese or Spanish. The FLC 2.0 and Agree II platform was used for the analysis and the Sackett template for the interpretation of levels of evidence and grades of recommendation. 322 items were retrieved, three were selected. It was obtained that the recommended intervention is conservative therapy, only in exceptional cases will another intervention be determined. Invasive treatment, including surgical treatment, is reserved for sensitive cases since the risks outweigh the benefits. It is concluded that the first line treatment for the treatment of varicose veins in pregnant women is compression stockings. Routine and oral anticoagulants seem to help but it is not safe to use during pregnancy.

Resumen
The objective of this research was to analyze the degree of dependence of patients in a Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit comparing nursing care needs. It is a quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive study. Two validated instruments were used to classify patients according to the degree of dependence, and the Kappa index was used to assess the agreement between the instruments. It was found that there is a prevalence of the male population of 45 (64.3%), the most attended medical specialty was neurosurgery with 48 (68.6%). 65 patients (92.9%) were generally classified as serious and 59 (84%) to 60 (86%) who required intensive nursing care according to the instruments that assess the degree of dependence. It is concluded that the increase in the need for care depends entirely on the severity of the patient, and it can be verified that the age group and the invasive procedures performed are variables that directly involve the care provided since these factors contribute directly to the increase in the degree of dependence and duration of stay in the health service.

Resumen
This study aimed to discuss the perceptions of Community Health Agents and Endemic Control Agents on the process of guiding the population regarding the prevention and control of Aedes Aegypti. This is a descriptive and exploratory study of qualitative nature, conducted with 07 Endemic Disease Agents and 12 Community Health Agents in a city in the interior of Bahia, whose data were collected through semi-structured interviews, recorded with the aid of tape recorder and analyzed through the technique of collective subject discourse, which allowed the construction of collective discourses. The results show that in the perception of such professionals, the population does not contribute to the prevention and control of Aedes Aegypti effectively, leaving only the professionals in question to act actively, and this work should be together with the population and the agents. We conclude that based on the results obtained the population is oriented towards care for the prevention of AA, however, most people do not put into practice what is passed on to them, so there is a need to implement activities to raise awareness of them.

Resumen
The aim of this research was to know the perspective of the family/caregiver in facing the chronic pain of their loved one in palliative care. Data collection used the semi-structured interview and was performed in the months of January to April of 2018 with nine family/caregiver of patients in palliative care with chronic pain. For analysis, the Bardin Content Analysis Technique was used, and the results discussed based on the related literature. Four categories emerged from the analysis: 1) Feelings experienced by family/caregiver; 2) Limited use of analgesics as a therapeutic resource for pain control; 3) Lack of knowledge of non-pharmacological therapies in pain management; and 4) Communication as a therapeutic resource for pain relief. It is concluded that the pain is still underused, and this fact contributes to the increase of the suffering of the patient as well as the family/caregiver.
