AbstractThe interior territories are increasingly committed to tourism as an engine of economic development, which is why they place their heritage in tourist value. Therefore, with the aim of attracting visitors, increasing the length of their stays and seasonally, from public institutions and local associations are being programmed a series of activities oriented to nature, culture, leisure and recreation, giving satisfaction to the motivations and new demands of tourists.However, this incessant increase in activities, occupying the public space, together with the continuous increase of second residences, can generate conflict between the local population and visitors, who, in turn, are socially converting the rural environment into a neighborhood residential peripheral of the big city, with the same services and carrying out similar activities.In this workpaper we have analyzed the case of Baixa Cerdanya, in the Catalan Pyrenees, one of the main tourist destinations in the interior of Catalonia.

La universalización y democratización de diversas geotecnologías, sumada a la creación y consumo de grandes cantidades de geodatos, ha generado un impulso para lograr soluciones tecnológicas que satisfagan las nuevas necesidades surgidas. El debate actual se centra en la disyuntiva de la continuidad de operar con sistemas tradicionales, o bien apostar por el surgimiento y consolidación de nuevas tecnologías, como es el caso del Big Data. A todo ello se suma la necesidad de evaluar y analizar el encaje de los SIG, herramienta fundamental del geógrafo en estos nuevos planteamientos.Dentro de todo este complejo universo, se tomará como ejemplo la transición que se está produciendo en el campo de las bases de datos, verdadero corazón de un SIG. Tradicionalmente se ha venido empleando modelos relacionales, que están actualmente en pugna con opciones más novedosas, entre las que destaca el ya citado Big Data, con una potente irrupción en el mundo geográfico, y con un gran peso fuera de él.A través de una revisión crítica, realizada de forma empírica, mediante el desarrollo de una matriz multicriterio y de la aplicación de un análisis DAFO, con este trabajo se pretenden evaluar las opciones tecnológicas, actuales y futuras, más adecuadas para dar respuesta a este nuevo paradigma.AbstractThe universalization and democratization of diverse geotechnologies, added to the creation and consumption of large amounts of geodata, has generated an impulse to achieve technological solutions that meet the new needs that have arisen. The current debate focuses on the dilemma of the continuity of operating with traditional systems, or betting on the emergence and consolidation of new technologies, such as Big Data. To all this is added the need to evaluate and analyze the fit of GIS, a fundamental tool of the geographer in these new approaches.Within this complex universe, we will take as an example the transition that is taking place in the field of databases, the true heart of a GIS. Traditionally they have been using relational models, which are currently in conflict with newer options, among which the Big Data stands out, with a strong irruption in the geographical world, and with a great weight outside it.Through a critical review, conducted empirically, through the development of a multicriteria matrix and the application of a SWOT analysis, this paper aims to evaluate the technological options, current and future, more appropriate to respond to this new paradigm.

La exploración de California y la fundación de nuevas “misiones” conoció un auge inesperado durante el siglo XVIII, al mismo tiempo se favoreció un mejor conocimiento del territorio y se intentó incrementar la presencia española en las tierras norteamericanas. Se reivindica la figura de Fray Junipero Serra como uno de los responsables de este nuevo momento histórico que, al mismo tiempo, se corresponde con un mejor conocimiento geográfico del oeste de los actuales Estados Unidos. El incremento de las expediciones terrestres y marítimas coincide necesariamente con la realización de nuevas descripciones de las tierras exploradas y un incremento de los mapas disponibles de la región. Este material se conserva en el Museo Naval de Madrid.

The aim of this study is intended to address issues related to the two antagonistic contexts that permeate the link between Re and Osiris, but especially the first, and the inhabitants of the Duat; that is, existing and non-existing as continued realities from here to the hereafter. Also, the ability of existing / becoming of those gods will be also collated and taken into account.Will be studied the most representative funerary texts of what we call «dialectic of regeneration in the New Kingdom» –the Book of Amduat– the Book of Caverns, the Book of Gates, and the Book of the Earth-, belonging to Royal Tombs, which explicitly raised the discrepancy exist/non-exist.For such purposes, we will focus therefore on allusion that the texts are translated as exist-existence/non exist-inexistence -xpr, jw.tjw, xpr tmw-, among others.It is the dialectic inherent to Duat, which causes that, subsumed in this existence/non-existence configurative equation, we will see processes of segregation, polarization, incompleteness, ontological dissolution, among others, all corollaries of the dynamics and diversity of Duat.

The authors present José Martínez Rives, a nineteenth-century multifaceted writer, who undertook a report in 1846 about the archeology of the province of Burgos, which includes nine Latin inscriptions from the Roman colony of Clunia, one of which —now gone— has remained unpublished.

This work analyzes three new Roman funerary inscriptions from the area of Lara de los Infantes. In two of them there is an expression of personal identification through a double idionym, something characteristic of the Valley of the Duero, very common in the epigraphy of this area and something that allows to date them in the s. I d. C. The third inscription is an interesting fragment that offers a new verification of Reburrus, Hispanic anthroponym sparsely represented in the area of Lara de los Infantes. They are three new remains, altogether, coming from a zone so enormously rich in epigraphic findings as traditionally lacking in interventions that explain that.
