Resumen
Since the beginning of the 21st century special attention has been paid to the incorporation into the decisional processes of the intangible, subjective and emotional aspects associated with the fundamental element of the Knowledge Society, the human factor. In this context, in accordance with the comprehensive vision that is being followed in the field of civil engineering, the present paper aims to incorporate these intangible and subjective aspects, mainly associated with social and environmental aspects, together with tangible, objective and rational (economic and technological) associated with the traditional scientific method, in the design of urban public transport routes. For this purpose, a multicriteria methodology will be followed that, based on the Hierarchical Analytical Process, allows: (i) to evaluate the integral viability of the routes currently existing in the reference city, Zaragoza in this case; (ii) identify the least effective routes and (iii) select among the potential improvements that which contemplates simultaneously technological, economic, social and environmental criteria is better.

Resumen
The objective of the study is to identify the typical route of different sets of tourists (national vs. foreign, new vs. repeat) in a cultural destination, such as Granada. Using 'Google Location History', we get visit sequence followed by more than 300 tourists. After adapting and contextualizing the data for this field of study, Sequence Alignment is applied, a methodology used in biochemical research. The result is that the original place of tourists and the number of previous visits determine the spatial-temporal behavior of tourists. Then, repeat tourists prefer not to visit places with a lot of visitors, except if they are non-national tourists, in which case they decide to revisit the main attraction of the city. This work aims to highlight the usefulness of sequence alignment in tourism research.

Resumen
The objective of this work is to analyze the employment behavior in the labor market in Chile at the regional level, determining the differences and similarities between regions, and of the regions with the aggregate employment at the national level. For this work, we studied the monthly regional employment rates during the 1986-2010 period for Chile by applying time series clustering methods to identify regions with similar dynamics. Afterward, we use that information to build a model that explains the contributions from the regional markets to the national aggregate. Results show the existence of regimes on the local labor markets and the relevance of the Metropolitan Region on the country-level behavior.

Resumen
In this paper we present the main results of tourism apartment hedonic price modelization located in Malaga, under the incipient sharing economy framework. For this, information is available about the Company of touristic aparments Airbnb, which is a rental platform for accommodation that is located around the world. In this paper, a hedonic price model is estimated that takes into account structural characteristics (number of beds, bedrooms, number of bathrooms…) and some specific features that are known as amenities (pool, wifi, elevator etc.). All of this will allow us to determine some f the main factors that determine the rental price of the accommodation in said city. In this way, we finally show a way of spatial analysis of this phenomenon that we have not seen before in other works of this type.

Resumen
This paper studies the use of water in the manufacture industry of Chile using cross section data of 2,339 firms. A translog production function has been estimated in order to obtain important indicators as marginal productivity water value and demand price elasticity. A marginal value for water of 1,508.6 pesos per m3 (1.99 euros, 2.64 USD) has been obtained for the whole manufacture industry although there are important differences between sectors. Industrial water demand is elastic since price elasticity calculated is 1.1. This indicates that tariff policy can be a proper instrument to get water savings in the manufacture industry of Chile.

Resumen
Our study consists of comparing 3,084 hotels in different cities of two countries (Spain and France) and identifying which are determinate factors that most influence in fixing price hotel of each country, analyzing their similarities and differences. We use hedonic pricing models based on least squares estimation (OLS) and quantile regression estimation. The results obtained by both OLS and quantile regression confirm that hotel category is a stronger quality signal in France than in Spain while eWOM has more influence on the room price in Spain than in France. In both countries, the effect of hotel concentration is positive without evidence of significant differences in both countries.

Resumen
Sport has become one of the major recreational activities, a meaningful indicator of citizen well-being and quality of life, as well as a pretext for enjoying our vacation time in places other than our habitual residence, thus giving rise to sport tourism. The practice of golf contributes to this kind of tourism mainly in the coastal regions of southern Europe, largely thanks to their excellent climate and to the strong penetration of this sport in European countries. The paper undertakes the current situation regarding the practice of golf in these countries (situated between parallels 37 and 41) as well as additional factors that contribute towards the promotion of golf tourism in such regions and the economic impact of this activity.

Resumen
This work studies the viability of intermodal transport applied to horticultural products from the south-east of Spain. This sector has an exportation turnover of 3,000 million €. All Almeria’s transportation, which is the most important horticultural province in Spain, is carried by refrigerated truck. Given the trend increase of cost, the future obstacles to its use (environmental rates or transit limitations) and the strategic dependence of the exporter sector, it is necessary to search for alternative logistic formulas. In this sense, intermodal transport is a good option, understood as the movement of goods, in the same cargo unit, using two or more means of transport. This work analyzes the current routes in operation using refrigerated truck and Ro-Ro vessels. The results show that the routes from southeast of Spain to United Kingdom are the most viable.

In this paper the economy of the Region de Los Ríos (Chile) is studied and its evolution is analyzed in the period 2007-2016. To carry out this study, the input-output analysis has been applied. Specifically, an analysis of the sectorial productive structure has been made and classified to the sectors through the coefficients of Chenery and Watanabe and Rasmussen. Likewise, the sectoral hierarchies have been determined according to the construction of the product matrix of multipliers (MPM). On the other hand, the complexity of the regional economy has also been analyzed, from the determination of the average length of propagation (APL) and the structural change and its decomposition in the sources of this change (final demand, technology and interaction of both) and by their origin (of the sector itself or of the other sectors).
