Resumen
Migration is the displacement with the transfer of residence of people from a place of origin or departure to a place of destination or arrival, which implies crossing the boundaries of a geographical division (UIECP and CELADE, 1985). It is a component of the demographic dynamics together with fertility and mortality, which contributes doubly through immigration entry and exit through emigration. Internal migrations include the displacements of people who cross geographical boundaries such as Major Administrative Divisions (DAM) and Minor Administrative Divisions (DAME) which, although offsetting displacements in a national way allows estimating volumes, flows, proportions, balances, rates and characteristics of absolute or recent migration. The objective of this article is to present, as an update, the main levels, trends and internal migration preferences in Honduras in the period 1988-2013, measured through their relative amount and magnitude, volumes, proportions, balances, rates, flows , places of attraction and expulsion, as well as the new configurations that are occurring in people's movements. The data source used is the Population and Housing Census of Honduras (CNPV) from 1950 to 2013, to a greater extent all three, of the last twenty-five years. The Honduran censuses before 1974 used the de facto or de facto modality, as of that year they have used the yure or the law modality and even the last two have used the concept of household domestic unit. This research, with a descriptive nature, aims to study the internal migration phenomenon based on census data generated from open access bases to build or use migration matrices at the level of DAM (department) and DAME (municipality), both of the absolute and recent migration. Three basic questions of the census questionnaires are used: place of birth for the matrix of absolute migration and place of residence five years before the census to build the matrix of recent migration and, place of registration, for both matrices.

Resumen
This research paper pretends to present a broad view about the commercial relations of Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala (Northern Triangle of Central America) along with the Chinese Republic (Taiwan) under the premise of economic and social impact that these commercial relations have crat in the inhabitants of the signatory countries through statistic data of exportation and importation as well as analyzing the economic nature of Taiwan.
The international trade has taken a rise in all the countries around the world in the last 30 years, mainly by the increase of volume of trade of products between countries of the hemisphere and the tendencies of a global economic system oriented towards a market economy boosted essentially by capitalism. These factors increase the possibilities of the countries to have access to those goods and services that are not created within their territory or that in the case of creating them have a high cost in contrast with others, this applying the international division of labor which primarily models the productive characteristics that prompted the trade in the past.

Resumen
Between 2014 and 2018, a study of the political economy of coffee and human development was carried out in the departments of Copán, Ocotepeque and Lempira. The objective of the study was to understand the socio-economic contributions of coffee growing and its relationship with developmental interventions in western region of Honduras. The research contemplated a qualitative and a quantitative phase. Several interviews, observations, field trips were conducted and a questionnaire was applied to 378 subjects to translate perceptions and frequencies into the numerical language. Software such as Atlas. ti. and SPSS was used. The results show a structure of inequality in the distribution of the benefits of coffee production. Families, with their modest incomes, manage to meet the needs of food, housing, health and education, however, there are various forms of impoverishment that condition them and places families in a situation of permanent vulnerability. When coffee prices are good, there is a process of social reinvestment. Models, programs and intervention strategies in the name of poverty and development need processes of cultural deconstruction and decolonization epistemology that allow new understandings to denaturalize the shameful exclusion that western Honduras is experiencing.

Resumen
This paper analyses the sectorial income distribution among rural and urban regions of Honduras in an ex-post way throughout the years of 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 y 2018. In this sense, we employ microdata from Encuesta Permanente de Hogares para Propósitos Múltiples (EPHPM), with which we proceed to segment the income by economic activity branch according to the urban or rural zone. Based on the previous data, we estimate three statistical measures that allow us to describe the evolution of the Honduran sectorial income distribution between regions; these three measures are the Gini coefficient, the Theil index and Kernel densities. The results show inconclusive evidence warning about important heterogeneities in Honduras income distribution, be it at the regional or sectorial level. Moreover, the rural zone has experimented greater gaps in income distribution, especially for the primary branch. In general, the increments of household’s total income have not been enough to prevent that most of the population has established in the threshold of income lower to one minimum wage for the last eighteen years.

Resumen
There have been significant changes in the sociodemographic and socioeconomic higher education student profile in this new millennium. Among them, massification and diversification have been notorious, and these in turn have extended new teaching and learning methods. The main objective of this document is to present a profile of the higher education Honduran student according to important sociodemographic and socioeconomic changes observed internationally. Additionally, a brief comparison is made among Honduran students of different learning modalities and the opinions of their academic/working future is considered.
To achieve the main objective, relevant national and international publications were considered and a survey was applied to a sample of students of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in Honduras. The results indicate that there is greater massification and diversification of the Honduran higher education student, but less than in Latin America and other regions of the world. Also, there are evident differences in demographic, economic, and life circumstances among in person undergraduates, distance learning, and master students. Finally, and considering the changes in the profile of the higher education student, a brief description of new teaching and learning methods is provided.

Resumen
Child labor in Honduras is one of the social phenomena affecting the child population between 5 and 17 years old, it is estimated that one in ten children is in this situation. Undoubtedly, this problem violates the rights of children in the country, harming their physical and psychological development; also has a negative impact on the formation of its human and professional capital. The objective of this research is to identify the main factors affecting the labor participation of children in the Honduran labor market, so that it is possible to identify and analyses which factors constitute a risk or protection Honduran children, and which are most likely to have an impact on this problem. The estimates of this research come from the child labor module of the Permanent Survey of Multiple Purpose Homes of the National Statistical Institute of Honduras for the years 2001 to 2018. From this, the working child population was characterized and a probabilistic model of discrete choice was estimated to estimate the chances that a child will be incorporated into productive activities under certain factors associated with child labor.

Resumen
The development of the stock market can be carried out in phases with the participation of institutional investors in the early stages and the stock market in the most advanced. Similarly, the stock market must have certain characteristics to be efficient, they are depth, liquidity and access. On the other hand, some determinants of the stock market are legal, regulatory, tax and macroeconomic. In this way, the work tries to address why the stock market in Honduras has not yet developed and the current problem in the stock market.
It is concluded that in Honduras there is no stock market and the current stock market is poorly developed, due to a stock market dominated by public debt securities, institutional investors who are demanding public securities and a prudential regulatory framework, which prioritizes the risk over the development of financial markets. Despite the existence of institutional investors, find that these have limited the creation of an internal market mainly by a strong regulation on which, how and how much to invest.

Resumen
Only the economy can strengthen the currency, the unofficial but tolerated dollarization shows the distrust in the exchange and monetary policy that is executed in a country. Uncertainty about the devaluation creates distrust in the national currency. Entrepreneurs, merchants and other economic sectors begin to quote and set prices of goods and services in dollars. Mistrust causes the replacement of the domestic currency with a foreign currency. In the case of Honduras for the US dollar, in which different financial transactions that people make to obtain financial products, goods or services are made in dollars. When the issue of dollarization is subject to debate, it is always addressed only and exclusively from a financial and monetary point of view, the structural vision that makes the loss of value of the national currency as an effect of the weak economy is avoided. To the extent that the problems that generate a weak economic structure are also solved, the domestic currency can be strengthened, and at the same time it will allow a more objective understanding of the relationship between production and monetary function.
