Resumen
This study presents a systematic review about the various roles and consequences of personal resources that were introduced in the job demands-resources model by ascertaining, synthesizing and evaluating theoretical, methodological and empirical dimensions used in cross-sectional and questionnaire-based studies from different fields.
Design/methodology/approach: applying systematic review methodology to identify the various personal resources employed in various fields and highlight their impacts.
Findings: after reviewing 99 studies, 59 personal resources were found studied cross-sectionally in various context where most of them impacted the dual process of the JDR in a consistent manner; inversely associated with job demands and positively associated with job resources.
Limitations/ implications: this systematic review is designed only to present a conceptual synthesis of existing works. A meta-analysis of empirical studies to obtain a more detailed understanding of these personal resources’ relative importance in work outcomes, is encouraged.
Originality/value: this research participates to the organizational behavior literature by identifying the various types of personal resources, presenting their effects in relation to work outcomes, and highlighting the gaps for future researches.
Key words: job demands and resources model, personal resources, SLR, organization behavior

Resumen
The Belt and Road Initiative aims to connect Eurasia and Africa in several ways. To achieve its objectives, huge investment in the construction sectors, funded by China, in various participating countries is underway. Some megaprojects have achieved great success. However, dissenting voices concerning issues have been heard in participating countries. As such, this study aims to examine the impact of the BRI on Malaysia’s construction sector by identifying the long-run relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows from China to Malaysia and the development of Malaysia’s construction sector during the period 1991-2018 using the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach. The empirical results signify the positive impact of FDI inflows from China on the development of Malaysia’s construction sector. This finding suggests that Malaysia should continue to collaborate with China to develop and execute mega construction projects involving high-technology to stimulate the development of the construction sector and to sustain Malaysia’s long-run economic growth. A professional team should be formed in Malaysia to monitor the progress of each BRI-linked project to ensure the avoidance of debt traps and any loss of national sovereignty, as well as to ensure adherence to agreements.

Resumen
The National Basketball Association (NBA) is considered the most competitive basketball league in the world. Numerous articles have analyzed the game through different perspectives to understand better the processes that lead being more competitive and successful. Our goal is to determine the game-related factors that influence professional NBA basketball teams’ achievement of positive results, improving understanding of the game’s complexity through the years.
We analyze the data for a total of 40 seasons, from 1979-1980 to 2018-2019, regular season and playoffs, into three groups through cluster analysis. These results are used later in discriminant analysis, distinguishing teams that reach at least the conference finals in playoffs to identify the performance profiles of the best teams.
The work helps us understand the evolution of the game through the indicators that have defined the successful performance of NBA teams during their history.

Resumen
How do firms grow? The objective of this research is to review and unify the literature that identifies Modes, Paths and Strategies available for firms to promote growth. The sample, selected from the Scopus, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar databases, comprises 115 works published between 1957 and 2021. This research offers three contributions to the firms' growth literature. Firstly, it unifies the literature on different modes of growth, into three main categories: organic, inorganic and hybrid. Secondly, it links these modes of growth with different strategic paths. Thirdly, it reviews the determinant strategies for firms’ growth and relates them to different modes of growth. We conclude that the literature on Modes, Paths and Strategies, both at the theoretical and empirical level, is far from being conclusive. Based on these insights, a new research agenda is proposed.

Resumen
The aim of the research is to study the added value achieved by internal audit and its variables for economic units and their role in achieving the basic Aspect of corporate governance, represented by (transparency, accountability & discipline), as well as helping the administration to improve its business continuously instead of The traditional view of audit focuses on compliance with established policies and procedures. On the practical side, the role of the added value of internal auditing and its effect in achieving the Aspect of governance in the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources and some of its formations was examined by relying on international auditing standards to establish paragraphs that represent a basis for measuring the extent to which internal audit axes are fulfilled or not, as well as relying on the Charter of Good Governance For public companies issued by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2017, and the principles of the (OECD) as a basis for setting dimensions that represent the measurement of the Aspect of corporate governance. The researcher relied on the weighting weights instead of the direct weights to determine the added value of the internal audit and the achievement of the basic Aspect of Corporate governance, where weight was given by (2) for each fulfilled paragraph and (1) for partial fulfillment and (0) for cases of non-fulfillment, and the statistical analytical researcher used to measure the relationship between research variables.

Resumen
Most public health agencies in regions or countries report the SARS-COV2 disease situation on a daily basis based on cases confirmed by various diagnostic tests. They also report other indicators such as deaths, admissions and intensive care admissions as supplementary information. However, due to the lack of uniform criteria and the adoption in each hospital of ad hoc measures to deal with the increase in cases, epidemiologic curves based on confirmed infections do not allow comparison between regions or countries analyzed. In this article we present a simple composite indicator that measures health occupancy using a fixed reference system. This indicator makes it possible to know and compare the state of health systems, without the deviation in the information produced by the adoption of individual measures that aim to adapt hospitals to the daily evolution of the epidemic.

Resumen
The convergence hypothesis establishes that the least developed economies tend to grow faster than the developed economies, which implies that they will decrease their disparities over time. This article seeks to verify, through different convergence tests, to determine if in Ecuador the disparities between the economic sectors have decreased over time. For this, we use data, such as the Gross Value Added (GVA) and employment data, in the period 1991 - 2016. Using the standard deviation of each year, we analyse the sigma convergence. Then, using the Ordinary Least Squares method, we run some regressions to determine the beta convergence. In addition, unit root tests are carried out for a panel that consists on the productivity of different economic sectors in 26 years. Likewise, this research analyses the convergence hypotheses using the method proposed by Bernard and Durlauf with the same data panel. The results obtained with the OLS regressions and the unit root tests show the existence of convergence between the economic sectors, while the results obtained with the method proposed by Bernard and Durlauf (1995) present evidence of a divergence process.
