The aim of this paper is to analyse the profi le of young people who enter and progress through vocational training after compulsory schooling. We have used data from the student records of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya for the cohort born in 2001, between the academic years 2016-17 and 2019-20. We reconstructed the pathways of CFGM students using an adaptation of the Lexis diagram, and compared the profile of these students with that of those who enter the academic track using a binomial logarithmic regression. The main finding is that there is still a very strong association between low performance or dropout and orientation towards vocational training.

This study concentrates on the analysis of the factors which encourage the development of students and their teachers, as well as making their happiness and wellbeing more attainable. 300 teachers from the province of Granada (Spain) took part. 113 of them were preschool teachers while 187 worked in primary education, their ages ranging from 25 to 64. A descriptive, transversal comparative was used. Results confirmed that: 1) teachers obtained higher marks in the positive aspects analyzed than the negative ones, especially if have taken part in courses or activities to improve their personal wellbeing; 2) there is a significant relationship between age and happiness, total self-esteem and its positive side.

This descriptive-inferential research aims to compare the parental assessment of 1,787 families with respect to schoolwork in times of confinement according to the nationality and level of education of the families. The results show that immigrant families identify more changes in schoolwork in all aspects except for emotional exhaustion. In addition, the educational level of both parents has a significant impact on some study variables such as emotional distress, perceived increase in time spent on homework and promotion of the positive effects of homework.
