Resumen: Elisabeth Gössmann es una de las pioneras de la investigación teológica hecha por mujeres en Alemania. Codiscípula, junto con Joseph Ratzinger, del teólogo Michael Schmaus, quien ha dado los impulsos para un nuevo abordaje histórico al dogma, Elisabeth Gössmann, a pesar de estudios valiosos sobre la mariología medieval y sobre la analysis fi dei en la Suma Halensis, no pudo, por ser mujer, ser habilitada en teología dogmática en la Facultad de Teología de München, al comienzo de los años 60. Ella enseñó dogmática en diferentes universidades en Tokio, y después de su habilitación en fi losofía, también en la Universidad de München. Es especialista en la teología medieval, y empieza, en los años 60, en tiempos del Concilio Vaticano II, a investigar el tema de la imagen de la mujer en la tradición de la fe cristiana. Hasta comienzo del siglo XXI, ella publica diferentes estudios sobre la imago Dei referente a las mujeres. Destaca sobre todo su obra sobre Hildegard von Bingen. Abstract: Elisabeth Gössmann is one of the pioneers in theological women’s studies in Germany. Along with Joseph Ratzinger she was a student of the theologian Michael Schmaus who infl uenced her with his impulses of a new historical approach in dogmatic theology. Despite her important studies on medieval Mariology and on the “analysis fi dei” of the “Suma Halensis” she was not allowed to habilitate in dogmatic theology at the faculty of theology in Munich at the beginning of the sixties because she was a woman. She taught dogmatic theology at several universities in Tokio and –after her habilitation in philosophy– also in Munich. She is a specialist concerning medieval theology and starts her researches on the image of women in the tradition of the Christian faith in the sixties at the time of the Second Vatican Council. Until the beginning of the 21st century she published several studies on the “imago Dei” in context with women. Especially her study on Hildegard von Bingen has to be emphasized. Abstract: Through previously unexplored archival material, the article rebuilds the foundational antecedents of the theological Chilean Journal Teología y Vida. Its origins are situated within a general program of ecclesial and institutional-academic renewal which Marcos McGrath, its mentor and fi rst director, pushed forward in line with the intellectual and ecclesial ambiance of transformations in the 60’. Resumen: Este artículo intenta justificar la pertinencia de realizar evaluaciones cualitativas sistemáticas referidas a pobreza y desarrollo humano, basándose en los postulados de Benedicto XVI y Francisco sobre el desarrollo integral y sostenible, así como en el Enfoque de Capacidades de Amartya Sen y en el Enfoque de Desarrollo Humano de las Naciones Unidas. Desde estas perspectivas, pobreza y desarrollo humano son fenómenos sociales complejos y multidimensionales, con aspectos objetivos y subjetivos. Para abordarlos se toman los aportes de la doctrina social de la Iglesia, examinando las múltiples dimensiones implicadas, así como el horizonte humanizador y de bien común. Destaca la necesidad de realizar evaluaciones cualitativas sistemáticas nacional e internacionalmente que complementen las mediciones cuantitativas, presentando sus contribuciones y consideraciones metodológicas y éticas. Finalmente, examina los alcances y conexiones entre estas nociones, y plantea desafíos conceptuales y metodológicos respecto al análisis de pobreza y desarrollo humano enmarcado en la ética social cristiana. Abstract: This paper underlines the relevance of doing systematic qualitative evaluations about poverty and human development, based on the postulates of Benedict XVI and Francis on integral and sustainable development, as well as on the Capability Approach proposed by Amartya Sen and the Human Development Approach of the United Nations. From these approaches, poverty and human development are complex and multidimensional social phenomena, that consider objective and subjective aspects. To address these issues the contributions of the Catholic Social Teaching is taken into account, considering the multiple dimensions involved, as well as the humanizing and common good horizon. The need to carry out systematic qualitative evaluations at a national and international level that complement the quantitative measurements is highlighted, presenting their contributions and methodological and ethical considerations. Finally, address the implications and connections between these notions, as well as the conceptual and methodological challenges for the evaluation of poverty and human development within the framework of Christian Social Ethics. Resumen: El presente artículo recorre refl exivamente las principales articulaciones del programa de teología pastoral impartido por la Facultad de Teología de la Pontificia Universidad Católica. Se detiene especialmente en la defi nición de su objeto, la acción de Dios en prácticas humanas y eclesiales hoy, y en su carácter dialogal e interdisciplinar con las ciencias humanas y sociales. Dado este último carácter, este artículo ha sido escrito en conjunto por docentes de la especialidad de Teología y de Psicología, actualmente directores del programa antes mencionado. Abstract: This article refl ectively reviews the main contents of the pastoral theology program offered by the Faculty of Theology of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. It particularly analyzes the defi nition of its object, the action of God in human and ecclesial practices today, and its dialogical and interdisciplinary character with human and social sciences. Due to the latter, this paper was jointly written by professors specializing in Theology and Psychology, currently directors of the abovementioned program. Resumen: El artículo empieza con la explicitación del principio lex orandi - lex credendi que será la base de la refl exión. Si aceptamos este axioma como válido, el camino más propio para discurrir sobre la teología de la eucaristía será el análisis de las plegarias eucarísticas de Oriente y Occidente. Al seguir esbozaremos la estructura literaria de ese tipo de oración de la Iglesia, identifi cándola como oración de alianza (todá), tal como se encuentra en la tradición veterotestamentaria continuada en el judaísmo. Finalmente llegaremos al cierre del artículo, que es constituido por un análisis de las plegarias eucarísticas romanas, desde las cuales descubriremos la teología de la eucaristía revelada por el mismo texto central de una celebración eucarística que es esa plegaria –según la terminología de las Iglesias Orientales– la anáfora. Abstract: The article begins with the explanation of the lex orandi - lex credendi principle, which is the basis of refl ection. If we accept this axiom as valid, the most proper way to discourse on Eucharist theology is the analysis of Eucharistic prayers of the East and West. We then outline the literary structure of this type of church prayer, identifying it as a prayer of alliance (todá) as found in the continuing Old Testament tradition in Judaism. Finally, we reach the core of the article, which is an analysis of Roman Eucharistic prayers, from which we discover the theology of the Eucharist revealed by the central text of this prayer expressing a Eucharistic celebration, according to the terminology of the Eastern Churches, the anaphora.
