Resumen
This article discusses the perspectives of evaluation that has had the musical work and the own figure of Erik Satie, with the purpose to review what could be the fundamentals of his musical thought. Considering that most of these assessments start from a canonical musical vision, we will treat this as a problem, from how this vision could have affected the understanding of its musical proposal by a certain sector of the academy. It is assumed that Satie opposes the Western musical canon through a musical subversion, that we will ground on Nietzsche. Since subversion is an important feature of cynical thinking, we will establish a link between Erik Satie and the presuppositions of the cynical philosophy, considering the animal as a key concept within this school of thought.

Resumen
The beauty we perceive in music is deeply influenced by interpretative praxis, being this an answer to cultural tastes and preferences. On this basis, we propose an approach to one of the most important clarinet schools, the German School. We will do so in three different parts: we will firstly get an insight into its origins and evolution, highlighting the names of its most distinguished representatives; then, we will get to know the constructive special features of the German clarinet, decisive in the characteristic German sound; and finally, we shall examine some of the interpretative traits which characterize this school.

Introduction: The designs established in the different syllabuses should be in complete agreement with the demands of society. Therefore, an analysis should be carried out in order to improve them permanently. Objective: To determine the scope and limitations of the syllabus of the subject Semiology and Clinical Propedeutics. Material and Methods: A qualitative study from a pedagogical perspective was conducted from April 1st to June 31st, 2017, which assumes the materialistic dialectic method with an approach on the system as the main action of the research process in order to carry out a critical syllabus analysis. The methodology used for this consists of five main steps which include, among other elements, the appropriateness and the review of the components of the teaching-learning process. Results and discussion: A critical syllabus analysis was carried out, and aspects for the improvement and a didactic unit of contradiction related to the clinical discussion in the medical students were identified at recognizing a disagreement between the subject contents and the ideal way to teach them, thus considering it a methodological problem. Conclusions: The curriculum satisfies the integrative idea of Commander Fidel in relation to the teaching-learning process for the formation of doctors in Cuba at advising a comprehensive formation, implementing the in-service training, and increasing the students´ leading role that guarantees a human, scientific, and technical quality, directed to give a better care to the people. The use of this methodology can be generalized. Keywords: Medical education, syllabus, critics, profile of graduates, Semiology, Clinical Propedeutics.

Resumen
Introduction: Malnutrition associated with severe disease represents an important factor that increases mortality in pediatric patients. Objective: To validate a prognostic model of death in malnourished children admitted to intensive care units.Material and Methods: An observational cohort study was carried out in patients with acute malnutrition, admitted to three Intensive Care Units of Pediatric Hospitals in Havana, out of which "Angel Arturo Aballí" Mother-Child Teaching Hospital served as the research center. The work was carried out from January 2011 to May 2018. A total of 234 cases were evaluated. Discrimination and calibration of a prognostic model of death was determined. Results: As general characteristics, there was a greater number of patients among the infants under 7 months of age. The main causes of admission were digestive and respiratory infections and sepsis, this last one had a significant relationship with the probability of death. Likewise, there was a significant association between the longer lengths of stay and death. The validated model showed an excellent discrimination with value of the area under the curve of 0.99 and good calibration with p = 0 .289.Conclusions: The prognostic model of death applied to malnourished children admitted to intensive care units showed a satisfactory performance to be applied in this patient population and has, as an additional characteristic, an easy clinical application given the feasibility of obtaining the variables that constitute it.Keywords: Pediatrics, malnutrition, intensive care, prediction, mortality, obtaining of variables.

Resumen
Introduction: The early appearance of musculoskeletal symptoms is an important occupational health problem for dental students that affects their quality of life. Objective: To determine the relationship between work postures and the early appearance of musculoskeletal symptoms in dental students of the National University of San Marcos.Material and methods: Descriptive, observational and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 70 students of the Faculty of Dentistry of the National University of San Marcos. The Kuorinka Nordic questionnaire was used for the determination of the early onset of musculoskeletal symptoms, and a postural checklist was used for the type of clinical work posture. Results: It was found that 77,1 % (n=54) presented some type of incorrect posture. Also, 67,7 % (n=46) indicated that the dorsal lumbar region presented the highest perception of musculoskeletal symptoms, while the level of intensity of pain that prevailed most was the moderate level in the cervical region (52,6 %), shoulder (50 %) and wrist/hand (40,9 %); in the lumbar area (43,9 %) a strong level prevailed. The time of suffering from musculoskeletal symptoms was predominantly between 6 months and 1 year. Conclusions: In the population evaluated, there is no relationship between the type of posture and the early onset of musculoskeletal symptoms. Likewise, the dorsal lumbar region is the one that is frequently affected during clinical dental work.
