Trade organizations have their origin in the Middle Ages. In the 15th and 16th centuries they are endowed with ordinances that, in many cases, have reached far in time. They reflect the purpose and organization of the guilds, as well as their economic interests, and try to solve the problems that occur. The tailors’ guild of Cuenca will be one of the first to evolve from brotherhood to guild as evidenced by the text that we present here.

In 1931, Elías Castelnuovo visits the URSS and, the following year, he writes a series of Chronicles on his travel experiences in journalistic media linked to the Argentine Communist Party. During 1932, he compiles and modifies these chronicles; he writes new ones and publishes Yo vi…! ...en Rusia. Consequently, a debate arises in the pages of the magazine Actualidad, in which some of those chronicles had circulated in the first place, regarding the ideological perspective of their author, his theoretical education, the figure of Stalin and the “sexual morality”. Castelnuovo actually participates in the debate in 1933 with the publishing of Rusia Soviética, a second volume to his travel chronicles. The analysis of these chronicles and the controversy that they raised allows for noticing the inflections of Elías Castelnuovo’s poetics –in which irony and humor take on a fundamental role– as well as the tensions in the left of the time, on literary, cultural and political aspects.

This paper analyzes the significance of the expression “argentino neutro” [neutral Argentinian], used from 2009 to 2015 in official documents on the education portal Educ.ar and on the Ministry of Education’s various TV channels (“Encuentro,” “Pakapaka” and “DeporTV”). By examining style manuals in detail from Encuentro and Pakapaka, corresponding to the years 2012-2015, we will attempt to show that these documents construct a linguistic model alternate to the various attempts at Spanish language unification, in particular “Panhispanism” or so-called “neutral Spanish.” Moreover, this alternative linguistic model was consistently reflected in the Ministry of Education’s television programming, which exhibited a much more diverse linguistic representation in Argentinian media than usual.

This work proposes to map a set of texts that outline the evasive and complex literary identity of Lucio V. Mansilla. Pivoting around the image of the conversationalist, Mansilla can bend to the idea of a writer measured at times with the figure of the man of letters but, at other times, with that of the critic (both invested with authority in the 1980s), and nurtured, in turn, by that of the cultural journalist (figure around which decisive transformations are processed in the social identity of the writer in Argentina in order century). Our hypothesis is that this construction could be seen as an episode -informal and heterodox, like all those starring by Mansilla- of the emerging literary life in the last decades of 19th century in Argentina.

In Letter to the Spanish Americans, Juan Pablo Viscardo y Gusmán understands Independence as a renunciation of a covenant and as emancipation of a guardianship. The fluctuation between both interpretations corresponds to the reference to two traditions –Spanish Neo-Scholasticism and Enlightenment thought–, but also to two different narratives of independence itself.

A body is full of other bodies. Both the erotic experience, as the religious and the poetic one, give an account of that desiring desire that allows us to dilute the edges of individuality in order to advance towards something that is beyond itself. The sonnets and tenths that make up a fleeting and disguised witness (1985) by the Cuban Severo Sarduy, to whom this article is dedicated, ―, stretch to the maximum the foundational images of Spanish mysticism to give an account of that dissolving experience where what is practiced is not "to be otherwise" but "another way to be".

Desde el siglo XVI, una vez instaladas las primeras poblaciones españolas en las costas del río de la Plata y realizadas las exploraciones posibles en las regiones inmediatas, rápidamente se percibió la extraordinaria particularidad de las tierras que se extendían al Oeste del río Salado: las descripciones iniciales coincidieron en decir que esta área constituía como una especie de 'mar, pero de tierra', idea que temprana­ mente fue sintetizada con la voz 'pampa', proveniente del kechua. Se la asociaba a un desierto, expresión que rápidamente trepó al imaginario de la sociedad colonial, a pe­ sar de ello no solo las características naturales sino además la población indígena que se desarrollaba en ese extenso territorio hacían perder el sentido a tal expresión, la cual, a pesar de todo, persistió hasta épocas muy recientes de la historia del país. En tal medida, la Pampa ejerció un acicate constante en la mentalidad de los rioplatenses hasta el siglo XIX cuando todavía se la seguía comprendiendo como un desierto, si bien a esta altura de los tiempos, asociado a la barbarie: su opuesto, la civilización era sinónimo de poblaciones, de campañas ordenadas y, por supuesto, del desarrollo de la agricultura, la forma de trabajo que templaba el espíritu de los pueblos. De todas esas cosas, se pensaba, la Pampa carecía, por eso debía ser domada o, para entender el lenguaje de la época, civilizada.

El presente documento analiza algunas de las cuestiones que vinculan los cam­bios en el escenario macroeconómico y el desenvolvimiento reciente de un conjunto de empresas neuquinas. Las mismas han sido objeto de un relevamiento realizado como parte de.una investigación exploratoria de mayor alcance.' La infonnación obtenida permite avanzar en la elaboración de hipótesis de investigación en la temática y en estrategias de intervención orientadas al desarrollo local y regional.Desde mediados de los años 80 y a lo largo de los 90, las actividades econó­micas de las distintas regiones, tanto como las PyMEs, han ganado una creciente pre­sencia, tanto en los medios académicos como en los espacios donde se formulan polí­ticas y programas, siendo consideradas elementos fundamentales para enfrentar los desafíos del desarrollo en la economía mundial y nacional. Tres elementos realzan su presencia en la economía contemporánea: el número de ellas en el total de estableci­mientos, la significativa participación sobre el total del empleo en todos los sectores, y el significativo aporte al Producto Bruto Interno de los diferentes países.
