Resumen
Taking the concept of platform as a point of departure, in relation to that of audiovisual industry, this article presents a map of those that offer in Spain audiovisual productions OTT, by payment and on demand. The aim is to classify and explain its business profile, in order to show that ‘Spanish platforms’ are atomized whereas the market is controlled by few platforms based abroad. These are linked to the so-called GAFAM or to media and entertainment corporations; apart from including Netflix. It concludes with a reflection on the opportunities and challenges that OTT platforms present for the diversity of/in the Spanish audiovisual industry.

Resumen
Through social networks have emerged new forms of communication and learning. From the use of emojis to show emotions, to draw on to biographical photo accounts to know what was happening at a specific moment in history. The new generations appear as the main users of these networks, especially Instagram, and communication theorists such as Marshall McLuhan and Jay David Bolter already approached decades ago to those generations Y and Z. We will apply part of their research and we will see some activities that Instagram offers and how the young people use them.

After a historical demonstration in terms of participation in November 14, 2012 in Logroño, they occurred several Police charges that would end up with two people seriously injured, three people charged with crimes involving imprisonment and eight demonstrators fined. As a result, the platform Stop Represión La Rioja was created as a group of criticism and support for the accused. Addressing its technopolitical articulation on the net, in this article we will analyze in a qualitative and quantitative way and from the methodological approach of framing, the transmedia narratives Stop Represión will use to alter the story and reframe the discourse in regard to media coverage and the frame of local press.

Resumen
Throughout this article, the notion of performativity applied to the contemporary visual communication environment will be reviewed. Performativity is proposed as a possible paradigm of analysis of the images circulating in social networks that can enable a greater understanding of the interactions and contemporary photographic practices of digital culture.

The digitization process has brought about an authentic revolution in the media system. The majority of the known “old media” has difficulties in finding an economic model to survive. They are anchored in a massive and centralized broadcasting model that can be considered basically dead. The same goes for something as basic to such a centralized model as audience research. After describing what has been the role of audience research in this model of mass broadcasting and how it has been maintained, despite the criticisms that emerged to its way of working from the main actors of that model, a synthetic summary of the challenges that audiences research must to take in order to adapt to digital transformation.

Resumen
This text deals with the development that the newspapers La Jornada and Reforma have taken into account in the latest trends within the Mexican Political System. For its analysis, four variables were used (economic development, professional ethics, legal structure and political parallelism), which allow to make a general description of the evolution of both daily media from depth interviews, bases in the thematic areas and It was applied to journalists, editors and managers of said newspapers. The center of the research is based on the theoretical observations in the Political Economy of Communication and the methodology of analysis of the proposed models for Hallin and Mancini. The research presents the repercussions that neoliberalism has had in the Mexican press system since the 1990s, through the study of these two newspapers.

The aim of this work is to analyse the results of the OCW project entitled Elaboración y Traducción de Textos Científicos en Geografía, given in the call R-700/2017 school year 2017/2018 by the University of Murcia. In mentioned project students are expected to acquire the subject competences working in collaborative translation assignments, encouraging participation among students. Topics are related to their professional interests and are related to other subjects, giving rise to an interdisciplinary approach and using a constructivist approach by using scaffolds and flipped classroom techniques. Contents have been uploaded to a collaborative wiki, being the professor a facilitator of the whole process. Although the impact was initially observed in the above subject, it was transferred to other subjects. It is important to stress the innovative aspect of the project which is focusing in specialized translation rather than in morphosintax and lexis.
