Resumen
This paper examines animism as an antidote to semiotic capitalism and analyses the latter’s magical framework drawing on Marx’s concept of “commodity fetishism” and Frazer’s notion of “sympathetic magic.” Additionally, I explore how animist worlds function, in dialogue with Deleuze and Guattari’s concepts of “plane of composition” and “smooth space,” from whose combination I elaborate the notion of “field of intensities.” Lastly, I propose to define contemporary animism as experimental, isomeric, liminal, and chaosmic in close conversation with recent works by Donna Haraway, Elizabeth Povinelli, and Hilan Bensusan; furthermore, I describe animism as a way out of capitalist ruins towards what Nietzsche called the “sea opened” by God’s death.

Resumen
The objective of this article is to lecture on cliff landscapes in Antonio Agudo´s pictorial work. An approach to the greatness of the cliffs were Agudo discovers a new personal view of a vigorous nature, a lost Paradise he finds through his journeys to the Americas, between Iguazú and Barranca del Cobre. Through his artistic vision, he portrays the nude reality, just the way it presents itself to his eyes. In short, from a landscape´s holistical vision, the hermeneutical interpretation, the reflexive evaluation or even the sublime will lead this approach to the concept of cliffs and nature in the pictorial work of Antonio Agudo.

Resumen
This paper will explore the possible continuity between Ortega and Nicol in terms of their contributions to a theory of culture with phenomenological and vitalist roots. It seems that Ortega has developed a remarkable theory of culture and it is possible that Nicol can also offer to us complementary contributions to it, especially referring to its metaphysical bases. For this purpose, different aspects of Nicol´s anthropology and metaphysics will be analyzed focusing on human creative vocation, his historical being and the expression.

Resumen
This paper is an aesthetic approach to sensory disabilities and alterations through the case of misophonia, which consists of a special sensitivity to certain everyday sounds that while for people in general are inaudible, for misophone people are particularly annoying. Despite denying the traditional pleasure –with unpleasure- and the exceptional character of the object –with the daily irrelevant sounds-, here we study this sensory dysfunction from the theses of modern and contemporary aesthetics. We conclude that in misophonia we have, in addition to a subjective and sensitive dimension, an objective and intellectual one that the misophone person can take the advantage of to see it as a positive aesthetic experience.

Resumen
This article proposes a lecture of the story «Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius» by Jorge Luis Borges analyzing, from a rhetorical-argumentative perspective, the question of the logical multiverse. Considering this, the approach is grounded on the possible worlds’ theory by Gottfried Leibniz and modal realism; together with multiverse astronomical postulates. The reading of this story in particular as an exemplification of the presented theoretical axis is pertinent, inasmuch as its argument raises the possible human fictionality. Therefore, it is considered that this work presents the problem of self-referentiality in the world (or universe) when different logical reality layers are created.

Resumen
Abstract intelligence and the term assigned to it, spirit, appear in the Chalcolithic. The theoretical elaboration of the notion of spirit and the understanding that is reached of it, is produced at the same time as the understanding and the theoretical elaboration of the death and the sin, also in that period.
Sin is the act of the spirit that produces death. Death allows us to differentiate between beings that succumb to time and are finite and bodily, and those that do not succumb to time and are eternal and spiritual.
At the beginning of the 21st century, when artificial organisms and artificial intelligence are part of the everyday world, the analysis of the way in which man is spiritual, and the way in which he is mortal, and the reflection on the occult sciences, can favor the understanding of what is life, intelligence, spirit, death, immortality and eternity.
The old interpretations of the origin of death, of the supratemporal status of the spirit, and of the various types of spirit, now appear as a new source of understanding.

Max Picard's philosophical reflections are, unfortunately, very little known in our days. However, it is an original thinker, with a peculiar style and author of unique philosophical works that decisively influenced the development of contemporary philosophy, especially in the field of philosophical anthropology and the understanding of the limits of the Modernity. The focus of this paer is to offer an analysis from an antropological perspective of the concept of the human face, based on its manifestation as Imago Dei, to demonstrate the importance of this concept in the understanding of the human person as a spiritual unity and as a manifestation of the eternal in time.

The use of the word ‘empirical’ in the sciences has created an area of confusion in which it is taken to mean ‘publicly observable’. Although it is understandable that the word ‘empirical’ be used in the sciences in this manner, it also carries the rick of overlooking personal experiences, which are necessary for any understanding whatsoever. The word ‘empirical’ should include personal experience or be replaced by some other word that avoids confusing the fact that the word ‘empirical’ not only refers to external data, but also rich inner mental life.
