Congestion is a common problem in big cities, including Jakarta as a capital of Indonesia. Increasing the number of vehicles in Jakarta is not proportional to the growth of roads. This makes the road become inconducive. The use of public transportation is a solution to solve this problem. While public intention in using public transportation is still considered low. Research on the intention of using public transport is still less. Based on this, further research is needed that focuses on the intention to use public transportation. This study explores the intention to use public transport that focus on Transjakarta busway while considering several factors in Jakarta, Indonesia. This study describe intention behavior of Transjakarta potential user, study and explores the relationship between intention to use Transjakarta and other latent factors, including personal norms, social influence, environment impact, and perceived quality. The empirical data were drawn from 190 potential users of Transjakarta in Jabodetabek that still use private vehicle, car or motorbike in daily activity using questionnaire method. Structural equation model (SEM) technique is used to analyze the conceptualized relationship model. The result reveal that personal norms, social influence, and perceived quality significantly affect potential users’ intention behavior. From the empirical result, managerial implications were discussed.

The study of representations and images involved in advertising campaigns is a recurrent resource of marketing managers. Therefore, understanding and analyzing advertisements and their semiotics becomes an important source of research. In this context, the following research problem arises: what are the complementarity, contrariety and contradiction relations that carry the advertisements of supermarket retailers? Thus, the main objective is to analyze semiotic advertising of national supermarket chains through the constitution of a semiotic square. For that, the greimasian methodology (Greimas, 1973) was used, which sustains a generative path of meaning, where the relations existing between the signifiers produce signification. We investigated the advertisements of the largest retail supermarket brands in Brazil, by price, product and people variables. Thus, the semiotic square was created for the advertising of supermarket retailers in Brazil.

The improvement of educational services can have a direct impact on the student's avoidance rate in the concomitant / subsequent technical courses. Being of vital importance to be able to anticipate and anticipate the factors that are important in the provision of educational services aiming at satisfying the student's satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to apply a questionnaire that allows to evaluate the perception or expectation of the students who are already attending and those who are beginning their study day in the concomitant / subsequent technical courses in Administration. It will become the basis for future studies as to the main quality factors in service that affect student satisfaction and loyalty. For this purpose, the SERVQUAL tool will be used to measure the quality of the services provided.

The work consists of analyzing the historical evolution of an international scientific journal, which is characterized by publications via the web and the Open Journal System (OJS) software. In data collection it was necessary to use Google analytics between the years 2014 and 2017, based on the access / session variables and their respective averages. By means of Excel, a statistical analysis was performed based on Statistical Process Control (SPC). The research method selected was the case study, with data and information complemented by bibliographical and documentary research. As a result, the research identified that the international scientific journal presents mostly male users with Brazilian or foreign nationality. Moreover, in the stratification of the journal users by sex and titration it was possible to perceive that doctors are responsible for the greater number of records, both male and female. Finally, there is an increase in the number of views in the international scientific journal, thus confirming that there is a significant importance among academic researchers in seeking access to publications made available via the web.

In this paper the authors present shortly an original method to make the dynamic synthesis of a mechanism with rotary cam and rotated tappet with roll, used with priority at the distribution mechanisms from the heat engines with internal combustion. This type of distribution can improve the changes of gases, and may decrease significantly the level of vibration, noises, and emissions. As long as we produce electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels is pointless to try to replace all thermal engines with electric motors, as loss of energy and pollution will be even larger. However, it is well to continuously improve the thermal engines, to reduce thus fuel consumption. At the heat engine with internal combustion a great loss of power is realized and by the distribution mechanism, reason for that we must try to improve the functionality of this mechanism. The dynamic synthesis of this type of distribution mechanism can be made shortly, by the Cartesian coordinates, but to determine these coordinates we need and some trigonometric parameters of the mechanism.
