Resumen
El desarrollo de los diferentes espacios territoriales no se pueden dar de manera simultánea y homogénea, éste se dá de manera acelerada en aquellos lugares que por su ubicación geográfica, infraestructura o bien porque económica y políticamente han sido y/o son "estratégicos" para lograr los objetivos que se plantea el Estado-Gobierno. Obviamente esta dinámica de desarrollo desigual obedece a las modalidades que adopta la acumulación del capital a través de los diferentes modelos de desarrollo, sus políticas y sus estrategias.

Resumen
Para entender la situación de los latinoamericanos que actualmente residen en Suecia, así como su condición de 'solicitantes de asilo'. Es preciso introducirse en lo que han sido las principales tendencias migratorias hacia este país, pues es imposible desvincular la tradición histórica sueca en cuestión de inmigración, y los resultados de ésta, en lo que se refiere a la política que actualmente regula las condiciones de vida de los inmigrantes en general, y de los latinoamericanos en particular. Desde los años treinta, Suecia ha tenido una larga tradición en cuanto a inmigrantes que deciden, por una razón u otra residir allí. A partir de la Primera Guerra Mundial, como resultado de la conflictiva situación en el continente emigran hacia Suecia, ciudadanos de diversas nacionalidades europeas, pero principalmente, alemanes, polacos e italianos.

Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es el análisis de los aspectos teóricos de los estudios de población; no ya en términos de las problemáticas básicas que hacen a la cuestión poblacional sino en función de la construcción del objeto de estudio y el modo en que el conocimiento sobre este objeto es posible teóricamente. Esto no soslaya la cuestión de las problemáticas básicas que se abordan, en este trabajo, desde los supuestos e implicaciones epistemológicas y metodológicas de la explicación de la dinámica poblacional.

Resumen
En México se estima la existencia de un millón 255 mil 800 embarazos no deseadospor año, de los cuales 550 mil terminarían en aborto . El subregistro de la información impide precisar cifras, pero se calcula que entre 30 y 40% de abortamientos tienen alguna complicación, razón por la cual en 1990 ingresaron 118 mil 790 mujeres a instituciones de salud pública y de seguridad social. De acuerdo con cifras oficiales, desde los años 70, el aborto se mantiene como la cuarta causa de muerte materna.

Resumen
The present study aims to explore the acculturation process in migrant women who are members of grassroots organizations in a district of Lima, Peru. A qualitative research of phenomenological design was carried out, in-depth interviews were applied to 11 migrant women who participate in a grassroots social organization. A thematic content analysis was applied, and we found that the acculturation process is experienced through their personal situation before migrating, which includes aspects related to the motivation to do so; the comparison between their culture of origin and that of their destination, which includes the perceptions of both spaces and their reactions and feelings towards them; and finally, the personal situation after migrating, which encompasses the processes of cultural integration and assimilation.v

Resumen
The objective of this article is to identify factors that influence the relationship between intersectionality in health and multidimensional poverty. Four logistic models are estimated to identify the relationship of health problems with multidimensional poverty, linked to sociodemographic, gender inequality and geographic factors. The findings highlight that health problems for women and men in poverty are different as a consequence of intersectionality. The accumulation of inequities affects women more. Gender norms explain health problems by sex. It is a priority to attend to socially assigned burdens on women that affect their health, such as unpaid domestic and care work, and to ensure the full exercise of their rights and well-being.

Resumen
In this project is presented one of the uses of some environmental registers; like the described information in the Ecologic & Economic Accounting System of Mexico (EEASM) that, joined with the National Accounting System data (NAS), allow to get the sustainability index estimated by Pearce & Atkinson (for Mexico). Taking into account the results and under some supposed, it will be concluded that the mexican economy growing during 1988-1996 was not maintainable.

Resumen
In this study which is about a balance of the urban research in the most part of the Latin America countries, to establish certain basic criterions to formulate a investigation schedule for the future. The study is based on serious studies already done by the international project of Initiative Global for Urban Investigation (GURI), and are applied in three sub-regions, which recount the beginning and the evolution of the urban investigation in each sub-region; aspects of development as theoretical perspectives as a urban investigation, the research themes, the involved disciplines and the institutional structures in the support of the investigation, putting emphasis in the comparative analysis of the sub-regions (Mexico-Colombia and Central America; Brazil and Venezuela; the Mountain Climber Countries and others south cone) and in the importance of the politicalinstitutional aspects in the development of the investigation.

Resumen
The aim of this study is to analyze, in a necessary synthetic way, the new socioeconomic procedures that have been taking place in Latin America during the last decades, and particularly the one that refers to the relations among the flexibilization phenomena and their effects in the work markets and democratic processes en various countries of the region. Special attention is given to the precarization processes of the work enforcement in a large number of countries of the region, with the extension of temporary work, with or without contract, an the subsequent reduction of the salary costs in the different sectors of the economy.
