Resumen
The Ebola crisis in Spain was a health crisis that took place in 2014. This crisis had political consequences such as the resignation of the former health minister of the Popular Party Government, Ana Mato, social as large mobilizations in different territories of the country, and humanitarian as the discussion regarding the contagion of the Spanish missionary Manuel García and that of the nursing assistant Teresa Romero; and there were even ethical debates surrounding the sacrifice of Teresa Romero’s mascot, Excalibur. The research aims to analyze to what extent and in what way administrations and the media used Twitter to communicate with citizens. Theoretically, it is based on the sociological field of risk and on the field of communication and journalism in digital environments. The methodology is mixed, and the research concluded that traditional media are still fundamental to communicate emergencies.

Resumen
Nuclear power plants need an organized communication for the two types of special situations they face: on the one hand to inform relevant stakeholders of what is happening in an operational crisis; and on the other hand to recover public confidence in those unforeseen events that affect the reputation of the nuclear power plant and the social legitimacy of nuclear energy. What characteristics define nuclear crisis communication? What communicative protocol is followed in Spain in case of a nuclear accident or incident? Are the theories of strategic communication taken into account during periods of crisis?

Resumen
Introduction: Communication dimensions permeate the practices of health professionals. Since the creation of the Brazilian Health Care System (SUS), in 1988 in Brazil, principles such as humanization of care and appreciation of relational, social and cultural aspects of communication between users and professionals and in professional teams have been emphasized. In relation to AIDS, health policies have sought to inform and change behaviors, emphasizing early diagnosis, appropriate treatment and prevention. Although the HIV epidemic has stimulated the development of technologies in health education and communication, there still predominate prescriptive actions aimed at biomedical knowledge and blaming individuals for their health problems. Objectives: This study investigated how communication regarding HIV has been addressed in SUS practices. Methodology: A thematic analysis of bibliographic search content was carried out in specialized Brazilian literature published from 2000 to 2018 in SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online). Results: The 15 articles obtained display communication as a tool to promote adherence, prevention, detection and treatment of HIV, but also point to its importance in dealing with ethical and moral dilemmas. Conclusion: Although it is still restricted, the academic production of HIV communication in services indicates a trend towards addressing the needs of the users.

Resumen
Introduction: Current journalistic coverage of HIV mainly addresses the virus as a global epidemic, leaving out the risk-groups discourse that has linked the virus to the gay community. In recent years, HIV has been the subject of journalistic attention due to deliberate transmission of the virus being prosecuted. Objectives: This research analyzes the media coverage of two European men tried in 2017: Daryll Rowe, of Scotland, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for trying to infect 10 men with HIV, and Italian Valentino Talluto, convicted of transmitting the virus to 32 women. This study seeks to identify dominant characteristics of both coverages and the differences between the representations of the different sexual orientations of those involved. Methodology: Content analyses, both quantitative and qualitative, were applied to the 81 pieces of news coverage collected. Results: The coverage of the two trials privileges a sensationalist approach that upholds inaccuracies in the language used, and it is structured around the victim/villain dichotomy, showing differences between both episodes. Conclusion: Covering HIV as crime news promotes an emotional framing of the disease that can negatively affect how readers relate to HIV-positive people, in addition to revealing the persistence of certain homophobic biases in the media.

Resumen
The mass media have always had a great influence on the construction of public opinion. This has been demonstrated with any major contemporary problem, such as HIV / AIDS, whose presence in the films has served to raise awareness and image about the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This work aims to know how HIV is represented in the films released between 1981 and 1991. That is, during the first decade since the identification of the first clinical case of this virus. For this, four productions have been analyzed: An Early Frost, Parting Glances, The Fly and Longtime Companion. The analysis of the content of these films has allowed us to determine how HIV was presented. On the one hand, from the social perspective, it was observed that in all the films the fears and prejudices towards said virus become visible. In addition, HIV was associated (almost) only with the gay community. In contrast, it could be seen that the medical procedures and the forms of HIV transmission shown were correct, with greater precision and realism in the films released in the final years of the analysis period.

Resumen
The following work presents the communicational strategy developed by the Health Seremi institution, during the health emergency due to the eruption of the Calbuco Volcano (Los Lagos Region, Chile) in April 2015, to diminish the risks of health for people and communities exposed to the eruption. A preventive and informative strategy was reported through various resources, including website social networks, as well as institutional transparency in terms of information towards the community regarding air quality, water and ash presence. The analysis of institutional social networks (twitter) indicates that the sanitary discursive cores were properly fitting and spread in this social network.

Resumen
Introduction: The behavior of citizens regarding health information can influence their relationships with other people and their decisions. Objectives: To increase the understanding of behavioral changes of Spanish citizens regarding health information between 2014 and 2018.Methodology: Six focus groups were organized with citizens (N = 31) and four with specialized health communicators (N = 23). The transcripts have been coded and analyzed with Atlas.ti 8 software. Results: In 2014 social networks began to occupy a central role as a means of access to health information, especially among the youngest. From the opinion of communicators, in 2018 there is now more quality information online, but the commercial strategies of the social networks encourage the exposure of citizens to fake-news (including pseudo therapies) and superficial contents (i.e. body image). Citizens have changed their issues of interest and their behavior regarding health information. The use of online information within the doctor-patient relationship do not seem to have changed. Conclusion: In four years there have been changes in the exposure and access to health information that can have considerable consequences.
