Resumen
Introduction: Sex between men is the main HIV transmission mode in the EU/EEA. Increasing HIV testing and early diagnosis among men who have sex with men is thus a public health priority to reduce new infections. This requires innovative approaches, tools and interventions to better target HIV testing services. Objective: Examine the impact of a public and private sector collaboration to use smartphone social networking apps for public health outreach during European Testing Weeks 2015, 2016 and 2017 regarding use of the advertised European Test Finder to search for testing sites online and reported uptake of tests following the intervention. Method: Descriptive statistics summarise the access to the European Test Finder during three campaign weeks. Surveys for participating organisations of European Testing Week included questions about the awareness of the campaign and whether clients tested as a result of it. Results: Access to the European Test Finder increased significantly during European Testing Week and the promotion efforts via the apps. A small sample of Testing Week participants responded that they knew the Test Finder and that clients had come for a test following the advertising. Conclusion: Smartphone apps allow targeted communication at large scale with opportunities for HIV prevention among men who have sex with men.

Introduction: Colonoscopy is a highly demanded technique due to its benefits, but it is nevertheless an uncomfortable procedure where pain and fear of the unknown can create a certain degree of anxiety. Objectives: The main objective of this study is to evaluate the level of anxiety and resilience in patients going to undergo colonoscopy, and check if the received information and knowledge affects these variables. Methodology: This is an observational, descriptive, transversal and prospective study. The study sample included 100 patients, 50 tested with conscious sedation and 50 with deep sedation, who underwent a colonoscopy. The assessment tools used were: State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)y Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-10). Results: 52% of the sample experienced a high degree of anxiety. This level of anxiety related statistically significantly with receiving information or not (p =. 00) and with the same level, sufficient or insufficient (p =. 00). And patients more resilient turned out to be those that yes knew the test or were briefed on it. Conclusion: We can conclude that more information less anxiety and greater level of resilience against a colonoscopy.

Resumen
Introduction: The use of health data from the Web has proven useful for evaluating various aspects of human behavior. Objective: to analyze the trend of searches for information on HIV/AIDS carried out in Spain, through Google. Methodology: Descriptive study. The data were obtained through online access to Google Trends, using the terms «HIV» and «AIDS». The variables were: related consultations; milestones; relative search volume (RSV) and temporal evolution. Consultation date 25 November 2018. Results: Users used search terms related to the main terms. There were three milestones in the results of search on «AIDS». The ratio between the two terms, 1.78 ± 0.13, presented significant differences (t = 5.29; p < 0.001). The RSV showed differences between the terms in the first time to study and the time course for ‘AIDS’ was clearly decreasing (R2 = 0.89, p < 0.001), while for ‘HIV’ was slightly increased (R2 = 0.02; p = 0,087). The relation of the RSV, between the two terms, for the entire period studied showed a low relation (R = 0.21, p = 0.005). Conclusions: the temporal evolution obtained is probably due to a change of social concern, from AIDS to HIV, or perhaps to a better understanding of the disease, which reflects the historical evolution of HIV and AIDS: the HIV infection as a chronic disease.

Resumen
Since the beginning of HIV/AIDS in the 1980s, the audiovisual story hasn´t only served to situate the viewer in a social context but it has helped him to reflect on the most devastating epidemic of contemporary medicine. Fear and ignorance have fostered discrimination processes causing people with HIV/AIDS not to be treated with dignity and respect. From the field of educommunication as a vehicle for the transmission of knowledge through the media, the main objective is to raise awareness of the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention to Generation Z, the first teenagers of the 21st century. Because of this, it is presented a methodology through an edu-inclusive proposal with small audiovisual pills from the TV series Élite (2018) and through Bronfenbrenner´s ecological systems theory about how the environments that surround a person can influence cognitive and behavioural development. As a result there is an impact at sensory level, acting as a healthy conscience transformer and managing to correct prejudices and social wounds. In conclusion: it´s essential to work on HIV/AIDS from an early age, because it´s better to communicate to prevent than be silent in order to heal.

Resumen
Introduction: The prevention of HIV or AIDS must consist in a strategy that takes into account the biomedical, behavioral and structural approaches to the population that is directed; it is what is called combined prevention (CP). Objectives: This research aims to know if generalist media talk about prevention or PC when they deal with information related to HIV or AIDS and the city of Barcelona. Methodology: The study is an analysis of quantitative content of all the information, regardless of the medium, that speak about HIV or AIDS and Barcelona in the period between September 1, 2017 and September 1, 2018; for this issue, the Kantar Media analysis and monitoring platform has been used from a series of key words. Results: Most of the information does not explicitly talks about prevention (13,82%) and that biomedical approaches prevail, being structurally nonexistent. On the other hand, the analysis of the data shows that the informants do not handle the CP concept. Conclusion: We believe that the media should talk more frequently about prevention, handle the CP concept and deal more often with behavioral and structural approaches.

Resumen
Introduction: Communication, education and communication regarding health issues are closely related. Aims: to share the experience of imparting delicate issues in universities, as well as the students’s perspective on HIV. Methodology: ten year experiences compilation of approaches to HIV issues. Each group of students defined rules before the topics were presented. Such rules were: whoever did not want to expose a experience related to HIV could not stay in the classroom nor listen to his/her classmates; discretion on the exposed experiences was requested; adjustment to the defined time for exposition; recording was forbidden. Results: along the ten years adressing HIV issues, the most suitable methodological techniques were focus group and circular discussion. Presentations were performed for groups of 50 students; discussions were performed with groups from 12 to 15 students. There are still biological and social aspects, as well as unknown consequences about HIV. Conclusions: compilation allowed to establish two main conclusions: a) there is ignorance and underestimation about HIV; b) focus group approach fulfills communication’s essence: to put something in common.

Resumen
The information, as a mechanism of awareness, awakens our interest towards something that until now could have gone unnoticed. We become aware and we want to know more about it. In turn, a higher level of knowledge promotes a change of opinion and may also a change in attitude and behavior. But it is not easy to "get the information". Selecting the properly messages, adapting them to the characteristics of each target, and using channels "tailored" to the target audience are key factors for the efficient development of communication actions. We have applied the mechanisms used by companies and non-health institutions to position their products in the market. We do not invent anything, we simply show that the "health product" can be "sold" using the same communication resources of the most conventional consumer product. We describe the communication plan used for the Citizen Awareness Campaign on Patient Safety, a communication experience in health that can be extrapolated to any area of knowledge. We propose a valid Communication Plan Model for its application in any area of the public sphere: educational, civic, socio-sanitary, etc.
