Resumen
In this study the co-occurrences of two markers in spoken language are addressed by analyzing the markers derived from motion verbs in Spanish (anda, vamos, vaya y venga). First of all, a quantitative method is proposed to identify the non-casual co-occurrences. By calculating the strength of association between the constituents the casual cooccurrences can be distinguished from the true ones. Within this last group, and on the basis of a qualitative analysis, three types of co-occurrence can be discerned depending on their internal structure and the corresponding functional integration of their constituents. Concerning the communicative intentions of the co-occurrence, the study shows that they are above all summative Pero vamos is the only co-occurrence that seems to have developed a holistic meaning, given its reduction in compositionality on the semantic level. Because of its high case frequency and its form-function pairing when used as a turn-yielder, we conclude that pero vamos is a wellentrenched combination in the minds of the speakers.

Resumen
This paper aims to revalue the importance of González de Mendoza’s bilingual dictionary (1761-1763) in the history of Spanish-French lexicography. Through its analysis and comparison with other similar dictionaries of his century, we show that its claimed defect of composition –the great disproportion between the Spanish-French
part and the French-Spanish part– is precisely its best asset. This disparity stems from the adaptation of the author to two objectives: firstly, to provide a dictionary responding to the real needs of the majority of its potential readers; secondly, to ensure the sale of his work thanks to a moderate price. We conclude that the dictionary of González de Mendoza is a very original proposal for its time, mainly because of its Spanish-French part, forerunner of the manual dictionaries that will succeed since the early nineteenth century.

Resumen
This work is a contribution to the Project Comparative Study of Intonation and Accent in borderlands of the Spanish Language (FFI2014-52716-P). In this paper we describe the melodic characteristics of a set of neutral declarative and absolute interrogative sentences, which have been extracted from a formal corpus uttered by women from rural areas of Cuba and Venezuela. While choosing the test sites, we have followed the proposed dialectal divisions by García Riverón (1988) and Mora (1996 y 1997). The analyses are performed using MatLab sub-routines (López-Bobo et al.). F0 absolute values are relativized into semitones, and their perceptive importance is determined above the 1.5 semitone differential threshold (Rietveld/Gussenhoven). These analyses have allowed us to carry out a phonetic-phonologic study that shows, among other results, differences in the interrogative modality that separate the rural areas from other urban areas that have been analysed in earlier studies (Dorta).

Resumen
This essay focuses on the textual and performative reader-bound strategies by which two works by the mapuche poet Jaime Huenún –Puerto Trakl (2001) y Fanon City meu (2014)–, characterized by an intended intertextual allusion to world literature tradition, uncover the dynamics of identification and des-identification of their readers with a cultural horizon dominated by a western perspective. To this end, the texts will be studied applying the embodiment theory and the role of perceptions in the phenomenology of reading, and a critical approach from the projection of imaginaries and from the sounding of voice will be used. My hypothesis is that both works, functioning as material devices for the recognition of identity alliances, would bring the reader to read herself and her cultural horizon against the grain of identity models that tend to be shown as dominant in the circuit of consumption of identity and difference.

Resumen
Many books entitled Romancero del Cid have been printed since the publication of Juan Escobar’s Historia del valeroso cavallero el Cid Ruy Díez de Bivar in 1605. Medieval romances were so popular that most of them were included before in pliegos sueltos and cancioneros, but until Escobar’s edition printers and editors were not aware of the possibilities that monographic volumes of these ballads could bring. During Romanticism this trend reached its height: the most reknown editions and translations of Cid ballads were published –Herder, Gibson, Michaelis, Monti–, thanks in part to the rise of nationalism and its characteristic love for the Middle Ages. However, none of them –neither those who come after– payed any attention to the modern oral tradition, which has transmitted more than two hundred versions of these ballads. In the Fundación Ramón Menéndez Pidal we are prepearing an integral edition of the Romancero del Cid; this paper aims to describe in depth this cultural heritage and to survey the history of its transmission for over four centuries.

Resumen
This paper is concerning to a group of words included in Diccionario de la lengua española, whose definition is headed by expression “En Marruecos...”. The historical context in which this incorporation occurs is analyzed here and reveals the causes of its inclusion, promoters and sources. Evolution of this group of words is studied since their admission to the Suplemento 14th edition of Diccionario de la lengua castellana (1914) until the 23th edition of Diccionario de la lengua española (2014). This analysis demonstrates that presence of these words in the dictionary is related to Spanish policy in Morocco in the early twentieth century, whose responsible person for the inclusion of these words was Julian Ribera y Tarragó, academic, arabist, and deeply involved in the management of
cultural and educational aspects of Spanish Protectorate in Morocco.

Resumen
This paper tackles the morphophonological diversity of Spanish compounds (manirroto, cuelgacapas, pez estrella) without using concepts such as root, stem and word, whose scope is always restricted in order to explain all the constructions typically considered as compounds. Instead, we will deal with such morphophonological variation and distribution of units by differentiating, in first place, two kinds of syntactic contexts of lexical insertion (insertion on contexts with or without active agreement features) and, in second place, two kinds of lexical entries (free and bound entries).

Resumen
Pío Baroja’s journalistic activity along his long life was permanent either as an interviewed author or as a main figure in the newspapers. After searching, finding and publishing in previous articles many forgotten writings by the Basque author, and as a consequence of following the different tracks of his life, we publish here a new bundle got from several newspaper libraries. Apart from his main activity as a writer, Pío Baroja’s interest in a wide range of subjects appears here clearly: politics, literature, human relationships, cinematography.

Resumen
This work is an analysis of the Spanish loanwords present in a document by the German chronicler Nikolaus Federmann (1505-1542), whose work refers to an early stage of colonialism. We intend to make an inventory of the Spanish words found in the selected text and study the strategies and procedures used to incorporate Spanish lexicons. Possible reasons for this incorporation are also mentioned. The results of our research provide a vision of how and why the author included these Spanish voices and indicate that the Spanish language became instrumental during the epoch of the colonization. For this reason it is possible to suppose that the linguistic speech of the Spanish language is marked by the functionality.

Resumen
After the disenchantment suffered in the first years of the previously longed for revolutionary government, Guillermo Cabrera Infante anchored Havana in a ludic space, which protects the city from socio-historical narrative. In this article we will focus on the book La Habana para un infante difunto, with the main analysis of ludic mechanisms such as: the narrator’s game, the game between the narrator and the reader, and the writers unique
use of language, the modification of words and his ability to alter logical referents; therefore creating a utopian Havana.
