This article is the result of a study underway in the realm of the Observatory of Curricular Policies of Santa Catarina (OPCSC), linked to the Federal University of Santa Catarina. The purpose is to analyze aspects related to the process and the scope of the collective exercise of research-education based on the trajectory of the Observatory. Using a qualitative approach, it was guided by participant observation at encounters of the researchers and on the analysis of documents and texts produced in the realm of the collective study. As a group, the evidences in terms of results, demonstrate the successful exercise of the research-education and the power of collective investigation involving the objects of interest of the observatory the field of curriculum studies.

A temática da cultura virtual e midiática presente nas discussões instauradas na academia traz pontos e contrapontos que oportunizam críticas e debates. Por um lado, desafiam consensos capazes de cristalizar e engessar ideias e ações, por outro, distorcem imagens tão bem desenhadas na história das telecomunicações. Nessa direção, o propósito dessa entrevista é trazer à tona algumas contemplações sobre as controvertidas relações entre educação e tecnologias na sociedade neoliberal e seus efeitos na produção de subjetividades. Para tanto, debruçamo-nos sobre esse campo de conhecimento, por meio de uma entrevista realizada com a pesquisadora brasileira, Joana Peixoto (J.P.), que se destaca no cenário nacional pelos legados e inúmeras contribuições registradas na área em que atua. Considerando a larga experiência como pesquisadora e docente na área da educação, apresentamos, de modo breve, um panorama da formação da entrevistada, bem como os interesses que possui. Joana Peixoto possui produção arbitrada e divulgada em periódicos qualificados com trabalhos científicos. Por essa razão pensamos ser muito relevantes as experiências constituídas pela Professora no terreno da formação de professores, assim como as relações com as mídias eletrônicas e tecnologias digitais.

This estudy aimed to analyze how the beginning teachers are accompanied in the daily of their pedagogical practice and what support actions are offered to them in the school context, by the school principals and supervisors. It is a research that had as objective to know the follow-up process and the support actions offered to beginners teachers in the Municipal Teaching Network of a municipality in Santa Catarina. It is characterized as a qualitative research, in which the semi-structured interview was used as an instrument for data collection and content analysis for its interpretation. The participants are principals, school supervisors and experienced teachers, that is, professionals who receive the beginning teachers in elementary schools. The main authors who support the theoretical contributions are: García (1999, 2009), Giovanni and Guarnieri (2014), Imbernón (2011), Libâneo (2008), Nono (2011) and Placco, Souza and Almeida (2012). The results point out that beginning teachers are offered punctual actions, according to the demands experienced in the school context. The data also reveal that the monitoring of these teachers is carried out predominantly by school supervisors, and the management is more involved in the administrative aspects concerning this professional. However, the work overload of school supervisors has not favored the systematic monitoring of these teachers, which may weaken the process of professional development of the beginning teacher.

The article indicates that a new kind of precariousness of the teaching work in basic education is under way that demands to distinguish its peculiarities, its movement and its direction.  Is the result of a recent doctoral research that analyzes how the changes that permeate the world of work within the general movement and of productive restructuring capital reach the Brazilian working class and penetrate the scope of school education, especially in the public sector, bringing implications in teachers' working conditions. For the analysis undertaken, at first we did a review of the sociological concept of precariousness, bringing the debate between different analytical approaches, and later we made some reflections on how this concept can help us to think about the forms and tendencies of precariousness of the teaching work that have arisen in the last years that reach the Brazilian professorship of the public sector.
