Resumen
Francoist dictatorship stopped the advance achieved by the Second Spanish Republic in respect of an egalitarian law for women. Furthermore, State’s ideology spine, the so-called ‘nacionalcatolicismo’, removed the feminine presence within the public sphere and discouraged education for children and young women. Corresponding to this regression to domestic premises, performed theatre perpetuated inequalities between women and men as a consequence of the unexpired traditional gender roles. Nevertheless, in the immediate period after the Spanish Civil War, the female actor, stage director, entrepreneur and writer Josita Hernán composed a repertoire for her theatre company where gender diversity and feminine agency prevailed. The artist did it negotiating with the spectators’ taste, censorship rules and critics.

Resumen
The place of the theatrical is a privileged field for the study of changes in mentalities and ways of permanence, since in the very attempt to define it there come into play the interdependencies of such things as spatial definition and ideological construct, emission and reception, form and content, in a much clearer way than other artistic expressions. Its own specificity puts focus and adds perspective, quite literally, to many collective and individual issues regarding the definition of identity, orientation, and that of society´s imaginary institution. So it also happens in both its learning and teaching, particularly in the field of scenography and design.
In this article, we will reflect from a gender perspective and through a methodology embedded in scenographic teaching and practice, on the exclusions and absences that shape our scenic culture, and how the designing process is defined by the discourse on power they reflect.

Resumen
This study sought to investigate the voice onset time (VOT) of Western Andalusian Spanish voiceless plosives, a dialect whose phonetic characteristics have not been sufficiently researched empirically. Results indicated that both place of articulation and vowel height had an effect on VOT, especially the former. Two Spanish dialects, Castilian and Latin American, were compared with Western Andalusian in terms of VOT. Findings revealed only minor differences in VOT between Castilian and Latin American voiceless plosives, but sizeable differences between these two dialects and Western Andalusian VOT. A number of potential explanations for the detected contrasts are expounded.

Resumen
The aim of this article is to analyze the transgression of the definiteness effect in impersonal constructions with haber in examples of the Spanish spoken in Catalonia, specifically the occurrences obtained from the Corpus Oral y Sonoro del Español Rural for the Catalan provinces. This paper, firstly, explains how Spanish and Catalan solve locative-existential constructions and the verbs involved in these structures; afterwards, analyzes the transgression of the definiteness effect as a possible interference. The discussion of the data is based on the contrast of the locative-existential constructions between the two languages.

Resumen
The present study investigates the use and the meaning of the Spanish discourse particle por eso in the informal Spanish of Catalonia where apart from the literal meaning, it also has a lexicalised adversative-concessive sense. The investigation has been carried out by using the data extracted from an inquiry and a corpus elaborated specifically for the purpose of the study. The corpus consists of WhatsApp messages and in addition to exemplifying the use of the particle, it also serves as a database to determine the use and the sense of it. Four meanings are discovered: emphasising sense, adversative, concessive and adversative with sense of caution. The questionnaire, on the other hand, studies both the use and the sense of por eso and the informants’ perception and valuation of its normative character as well as the factors that have an influence on it. The majority think it is normative and with higher probability when the informant’s mother tongue is Catalan.

Resumen
The uses of spatial para in Spanish spoken in Galicia suggest a preference for this preposition over other adlative prepositions; moreover, in certain constructions with motion verbs, spatial para seems to play a redundant role. The aim of this study is to find out whether these observations can be verified using a corpus in which the occurrences of para in this area are contrasted with its occurrences in other varieties of peninsular Spanish. The relation between these usages with Galician language or with internal processes of Spanish itself are also explored. The results corroborate the existence of specific uses of spatial para in Galician Spanish that can be attributed to the influence of Galician and others whose origin is still uncertain. Another achievement of the study is the finding that Galician Spanish shows a higher-path salience than other varieties in motion-event expressions.

Resumen
Previous research has highlighted that changes in levels of political trust are related to the performance of governments. The effort to explain this thesis has led to the theory of performance. This approach holds that institutions that perform well are trusted; those that malfunction generate mistrust. This study uses data from a lapop survey in three specific periods (2014, 2016, and 2018) to examine how performance (economic and governmental) determines trust in the figure of the Colombian president. The findings suggest that performance explains fluctuations in confidence in the Executive.

Resumen
This article analyzes the Christian Democratic Party of Argentina and its practices during a period of recent Argentine history between the beginning of the last dictatorship and 1985, when, after the recovery of democracy, the party again resorted to the frentista strategy. The article investigates the specifics of this Christian, non-confessional organization that represented a small minority, but had a significant impact on society as a defender of human rights during the last years of the military regime and early democratic transition. The narrative is mainly based on party documents, political press and mass media. It is organized from the perspective of the two-party system and the regime. The results of the research based on party sources, periodicals, session diaries, oral interviews and written testimonies, suggest that this party ought to be characterized as a relatively exceptional left-wing organization within the Latin American context.

Resumen
This article examines the process that took place as changes were made to the way in which indigenous manual labor was used (as mandated by the Spanish government through the encomienda) in Central Chile towards the end of the sixteenth century through the first half of the seventeenth century. As gold veins were depleted and the Chilean economy changed, moving toward agro-livestock production, Spanish representatives began slowly and tentatively, at first, then massively and permanently, to move workers to farms and ranches where they lived and lent personal services. Other tax payers paid indigenous people, bought slaves or contracted those who were available to work regardless of their origin. This meant that by the seventeenth century, the majority of these people were living on such rural properties and deserting their original

Resumen
Stablecoins have undergone significant growth in the last years. This article analyzes the main features of this kind of crypto-assets, the implications of its widespread adoption for financial stability and for the real economy and the regulatory response to this phenomenon. This article shows how stablecoins, even if they are less volatile than the rest of crypto-assets, are subject to some instability when there is high volatility in crypto-markets. Furthermore, we show how the rise of stablecoins could create risks for investors and the financial stability, risks that are being dealt by the building of an adequate regulatory and supervisory response at the national, European and global level.
