Resumen
Swedish painter Hilma af Klint's (1862-1944) artwork is analyzed. One of the earliest referents of European abstract art, who embarked on a medium introspective journey with pictorial and creative goals. In parallel, we study the influence of the founder of anthroposophy, Rudolf Steiner, on her work, as he made her reorient herpath toward a more reflective artistic methodology, moving away from her previous predisposition to be a hand guided by a number of entities over séances.

Resumen
From the concepts of ‘vigilant look’ —exposed by Foucault and Mathiesen— and ‘otherness’ —proposed by Lacan and Žižek—, a reflection is made on the subject as the failure point of the ideological building in contemporary liberal democracy. By means of parallax and the recognition of class struggle (as the actual core of liberal democracy), we propose the possibility of overcoming the discussion on the particular of the individual—given by race, gender, ethnicity— so as to build an enunciation position that allows us to point at a universal character.

Resumen
The present article approaches the tale “Amigos Mexicanos”, by Juan Villoro, comprised in the book Los culpables [The Guilty], from the standpoint of the role of illusionism and impersonation as agents that revel a truth, which have the capacity to intervene in reality. By means of various definitions of magic, illusionism and work of art, we analyze a character-magician-illusionist, his meta-literary function, and his capacity to build reality, cement and reveal the identities of the rest of the characters and the environment. It is established that the way in which illusionism, by means of a first deceit, may contest the myths and preconceptions regarding the world, helping to alter it, and by acting according to the will of one who uses illusionism, it finally becomes actual magic.

Resumen
The Spanish language translation of Raíz [Root], the first work of Constandinos Tsimas. The author introduces himself by means of a singular philosophical approach, “man as a coordinate”, superlative in his totality, earthling. The aesthetics of the poems has a sober style; one foot in realism, the other in geometric surrealism. With lyrical rawness, the poet sinks into the existential search for meanings and values —truth, honesty, our instincts, creation, improvement, liberty— to stand up with full force, capable of feeling, acting and facing life with momentum.
