Resumen
The increase in different ways of citizen participation in science has meant that decisions on science and technology are not an exclusive patrimony of politicians or experts. The role of communication is very important in order to create and maintain a community of citizens that are part of citizen science projects. This paper presents the results of an investigation on the communication actions used in an European Commission funded project, Life+Respira, based on the participation of environmental volunteers. This research analyzes, through a quantitative (survey) and a qualitative research (semi-structured interviews) whether the various motivations of volunteers to participate in the project influence their interest in their interaction. Also, whether this interest influences their perception of the effectiveness and credibility of the different communication actions.

Resumen
The actual television, as a mass communication based on public image, maintains a series of sexual stereotypes that are also transmitted in the newscasts. In the following research article, a cross-cultural gender study of a descriptive nature about the physical characteristics and age of the presenters of the most relevant television news programs in Colombia and Spain is presented, based on the audience obtained by this type of programs. Results and conclusions: The most obvious conclusions of this work, is that in this specific labor context, with few exceptions, the age of women, unlike her male partners, is not associated with greater credibility, rigor or seriousness, being a clear discriminatory element that associates women with a simple complement of undoubted physical attractiveness.

The informative discourse derive from Rhetoric. In particular, Epistolary Rhetoric established the bases of the informative style. In an attempt of “informar a los ausentes” with decorum an efficiency, non-humanistic epistolary handbooks transmitted principles and recommendations that, on occasion, are still applicable to Informative Journalism.

Resumen
The aim of this article is to analyze the shaping of the democratic discourse in the Aragonese daily press during the transition to democracy, a period which started with the death of the dictator Franco in 1975 and finished in 1978, the year in which a democratic Constitution was approved. The research method is a qualitative content analysis applied to a sample of editorials published by Heraldo de Aragón, Amanecer and Aragón Exprés. The results verify the two proposed hypothesis. First, the Aragonese press strengthened the consensus on the political reform as the way to reach democracy. Second, the three newspapers showed a generally shared discourse, being the autonomic process the topic which led to more significant differences between them.

Resumen
The results of a study that analyzed the content of drug information published by the Uruguayan Newspaper El País between 2004 and 2014, in a changing political context and with a process of regulation of cannabis by the government, in between, are presented. Through the framing theory, the dominant frames present in the publications are identified. It was found that the media studied, in general, disseminates a negative image of drugs, dominating in its publications the informative genre, with texts of little depth and of a markedly sensationalist nature, being the police, judges, prosecutors and politicians the dominant sources, mostly linked to issues of trafficking and crime; hiding or minimizing other voices or positions linked to science, health or citizen rights.
